Warhammer: Lord of the Endless Monsters

Chapter 1: Informal Chapter: Medical Sisters, Medical Order, Pale Angel

Chapter 1: Informal Chapter: Sisters of Medicine, Order of Medicine, White Angel

Orders Hospitaller: The Empire's battlefield medical care mainly relies on the medical sisters of the Orders Hospitaller and the medical soldiers in the Astra Militarum.

The Medical Sisters are the most skilled and compassionate doctors in the entire empire, often accompanying the Imperial Guard on missions, and are almost the most popular organization in the minds of ordinary people in the empire. But this is the empire, everyone has a dark side, and the state church and the trial often dispatch medical sisters to help interrogate prisoners.

As much as their medical expertise and surgical skills, they provided a source of confidence to those in need, pleading prayers to save fanatical hearts, reciting creeds of fortitude that reminded the wounded in their makeshift wards of saints who had endured great suffering and remained steadfast. They bore great suffering with unyielding grace. They whispered energizing mantras to ease the pain of injury and lift the veil of fatigue.

During the operation, the medical sister extracted burning bullets, crystallized fragments of grief and contaminated shrapnel fragments from the screaming warriors, spewing condemnations of heretical religious hatred.

The Medical Order and the Emperor's Mercy
To accomplish this task, they would inject lethal toxins instead of using stimms and painkillers (the first word sounds like a variation of stimulants, but I think it's too strange to use this euthanasia on the wounded. Modern people generally use potassium ions + anesthetics).

When an Astra Militarum is seriously injured on the front line and all treatment methods have failed, or he is infected with a serious plague, they will use special potions or the Bolt Pistols in their hands to give the Astra Militarum the final rest and the Emperor's mercy.

If the critical illness occurs in a field hospital, then a medical sister may take on this responsibility, as described in the short story "Duty's End".

The Medical Sisters would use a colorless liquid - which looked like wine, but was enough to burn a glass into gray - to end the patient's suffering. This was a method that had nothing to do with euthanasia in any way. Of course, if the person could still be saved, the Medical Sisters would provide far more professional medical assistance than the Astra Militarum.

So the author is not making things up at all, the medical sister will really kill you with one shot.

If a soul cannot be saved and has fallen, the hospital rescuers will not offer such a favor, they will end the life of the fallen person without hesitation and in a very cruel way.

Often deployed to war zones, the Sisters of Medicine bring specialized medical equipment to the front lines, tools that can be used to treat the wounded as well as to strike hard at the enemies of the Empire.

Sisters of the Order of Hospitallers are transported aboard the Order's sanatoria barges to internment camps in the slums of the hive or on exploratory missions to the far reaches of the Imperium, where their skills are practiced extensively.

In countless battles, they gradually got used to the cruel reality of war and gained a deep understanding of the terrible rules of survival.

Sisters of Medicine and their equipment
(1) Chirurgeon and Hospitaller Medicae Tools

The picture above shows a medical sister equipped with a surgeon's suit. The information on LEX and FANDOM about this suit is about the one worn by Fabius, so the personal comprehensive information is used here. The surgeon's suit is a battlefield automated surgical tool widely equipped by medical sisters and space marine pharmacists of a certain level. Due to its scarcity and powerful functions, only sisters who have obtained the qualifications of medical sisters can use it. The suit contains a complex automatic diagnosis system and a highly automated wound pretreatment system, which allows the wearer to obtain a large amount of wound-related information without manual observation, and automatically cleans and disinfects the wound surface and removes damaged tissue.

The medical sister's surgical suit can quickly cut the light armor worn by the battle sister in the picture above

However, the suit's back kit does not include power tools capable of cutting through the Marine's heavy armour, so in the event of a rescue, the wearer is equipped with a hand saw and power drill to quickly remove portions of armour - often armour that has been warped and deformed by impacts sufficient to severely injure an Angel of Death.

In principle, the suit does not include equipment for recovering and preserving gene seeds, so this part of the work must still be done by the pharmacist. Since gene seeds are vital to a chapter in both faith and practical sense, unless absolutely necessary, the Space Marines will not hand over the recovery of gene seeds to outsiders. (So she really did not have the preservation equipment at the time, otherwise the protagonist's gene seeds would definitely be taken away.)
The Sisters of Medicine's kit is equipped with the finest battlefield medical tools. This kit contains a variety of holy oils, ointments, surgical tools, and antiseptics to help those injured in battle.

(2) Hospitaller Carapace

The sisters of the Order Hospitaller often serve in war zones, requiring more protection than other non-military orders. Their distinctive armour is a welcome sight to wounded Astra Militarum and Ecclesiarchs alike, representing an angel of mercy from the God-Emperor himself, coming to heal.

The armor of the Medical Sisters is basically the same as that of the Battle Sisters, but it is lighter.
In addition to the armor's own protective qualities, the hood is often smeared with incense and ointments, while the rest of the armor is sealed and treated to prevent poison. Similar to their battle sisters, this armor can also be equipped with a sealed breathing helmet to protect against the harshest war zone environments.

(3) Chaplet-Ecclesiasticus

The Dark Angels are not the only ones who associate penance with the rosary. The Sisters of Medicine wear necklaces made of adamantium beads, each of which represents a sister's penance, and can represent one, ten, or even up to a thousand acts of penance, depending on the wearer's preference.

(4) Ring of Suffrage (I would like to translate it as Ring of Suffrage based on its function)

The Ring of Intercession is a slightly twisted, specially crafted ring that causes mild discomfort when twirled. It is designed to remind the Sisters of their corporal mortification and of the responsibilities they bear as citizens of the Empire, as well as the trials and tribulations that the Emperor and the Saints are enduring.

It should be similar to things like Buddhist beads or a cross. The word Suffrage itself also means intercession, which means that fiddling with it is similar to the Tibetan Buddhist prayer wheel. Fiddle with it represents a simple prayer. After all, performing a formal litany may take too much time and requires a suitable venue, but medical sisters are generally on the battlefield.
