Warhammer: Emperor's Ravenbringer

Chapter 7 The Fate of the Thunder Warrior

Chapter 7 The Fate of the Thunder Warrior

The Emperor who returned from the Super God Universe held a small meeting with the Magic Pattern Prime Minister - Malcador, and the Commander of the Imperial Guard - Valdo.

He shared the relevant technology of genetic engine with the two of them.

Let them know how much he has gained from this journey.

Malcador and Valdor are both learned individuals with extraordinary wisdom.

It is easy to determine that the genetic engine is a brand new technological path.

Completely different from the technology tree of the Golden Age.

It's even different from the technology possessed by all civilizations in this universe.

Influence the real universe by programming genetic sequences and dark matter.

This allows the recipient to gain powerful physical and combat capabilities.

This idea is genius.

"By implanting the gene engine into the warriors of the Empire, our speed of conquering the stars will be greatly increased."

Malcador's voice was filled with excitement.

"We need to create a genetic engine that is exclusive to the Empire," the Emperor said. "It must be adapted to the physical laws of this universe, so that the genetic engine can be used to its maximum effect."

Waldo said: "I will apply to establish a research institute guarded by the Imperial Guards, and then allocate resources to find a group of professional talents to carry out research."

He would never allow such precious technology to be stolen by the gods again.

He really didn't feel comfortable letting someone else look after the research institute.

Only the Imperial Guards can ensure that nothing goes wrong.

Once the relevant technologies of the genetic engine enter the practical stage, they must be equipped to the Imperial Guards first.

He wanted to ensure that no one could threaten the Emperor's rule and personal safety.

The Emperor did not respond immediately, but looked at the raven who was eating French fries at the table nearby.

"Mr. Raven."

Upon hearing this, Valdor and Malcador also looked towards Raven.

Upon his return, the Emperor authorized Malcador to see the ravens as well.

Raven looked up and found that the three giants of the empire were staring at him intently.

He showed a little embarrassment and pushed a few French fries out with his slender bird claws.

"What's wrong, do you want some fries too?"

"No, I just want to ask for your opinion on whether it is necessary to establish a research institute guarded by the Imperial Guards and with the Empire's resources allocated to it."

The raven looked bewildered.

Matters like this should be decided by you three giants of the empire. Why are you asking me?

"Isn't it a bit inappropriate for me to express my opinion on this matter?"

"It's okay. If it weren't for your help, I wouldn't be able to obtain the gene engine technology. You are qualified to speak at this meeting."

Seeing that the Emperor asked sincerely, Raven's talkative nature came into play.

"The current gene engine technology is a basic version. Once the fate nodes change enough, we will be able to obtain various improved and advanced versions."

"I suggest that you modify the gene engine appropriately so that it can operate in this universe without investing too many resources."

"Of course, the technology must be kept confidential. If it leaks out, there will be endless troubles."

The Emperor nodded: "If there are more versions of the genetic engine, then we really don't need to spend too many resources on research."

"Taking all the research results of the Super God Universe and localizing them can not only save research resources, but also be more conducive to confidentiality."

"The plan to establish a research institute is feasible, but the Empire will not invest too many resources. It only needs localization and special customization."

After discussing the suggestions made by Valdor, the Emperor turned on a holographic projector.

Pulsing beams of static-like light danced through the air.

Outlines a holographic interstellar map that emits a faint glow.

"Terra has been unified, and what remains are just some minor issues. We need to look further ahead."

The Emperor stretched out a finger and clicked on the moon in the holographic map.

"According to the information we have gathered, there are still many terrifying things wandering around on the surface of Luna."

"Those guys playing around with genetic technology drove themselves crazy."

“But they still hold in their hands the genetic knowledge and artifacts left over from the Golden Age.

If we can obtain these things, we can create legion warriors at a faster rate and launch expeditions to the galaxy. "The Emperor's words made Malcador frown and purse his dry lips.

"Legion? Your Majesty, are you sure you want to give up the Thunder Warriors?"

"The Thunder Warrior's mental state is not stable enough and is no longer suitable for the next plan."

The Emperor spoke without a trace of hesitation.

Indifferent attitude.

It's like giving up a tool that has lost its value.

“They have won the world for you, and you are giving it up.”

"Thunder Chief - Wu Xiaotan will never accept such a fate. He will lead his people to resist you."

Malcador's tone showed a hint of sadness.

“No sacrifice is unacceptable. When necessary, Valdor will lead the Imperial Guards to take action.

"Maybe new technology can save them," Machado said.

"They are immersed in killing and cannot extricate themselves. If they gain stronger power, they will inevitably become a destabilizing factor for the new empire."

The Emperor was unmoved by Malcador's words. He was resolute.

The Thunder Warriors are losing control more and more frequently.

Some time ago, two out-of-control Thunder Warriors massacred more than three hundred ordinary people who served them.

When the imperial guards rushed over, the ground was littered with mutilated corpses. The scene looked like Hell.

Such incidents are just the tip of the iceberg of Thunder Warriors' loss of control.

They went crazy and even killed their own friendly forces.

Such an army cannot be deployed in the Great Expedition.

"What a cruel decision. You really intend to abandon those loyalists just like that, and even kill them."

Raven said as he ate a French fry dipped in ketchup, shaking his head.

The Emperor turned to look at Raven, hesitated for a moment, and then asked.

"Mr. Raven, do you have any other ideas?"

"Big guy, your decision is very rational, but sometimes absolute rationality is the root of bad things."

“Since you need to capture Luna and want to eliminate the Thunder Warriors, why not give them an honorable death.

"Let the Thunder Warriors be consumed in the war to conquer Luna, and bury them with honor and flowers."

After saying that, the raven shook his head again.

"Politics is such a cruel thing. It's so easy to decide the fate of others. Let's just have some fries. At least we'll be happier that way."

"Death with honor, good suggestion." The Emperor nodded, "Then let's do it."

The Emperor turned to look at Malcador and Valdor.

"In addition to capturing Luna and letting the Gene Cult serve us, there are other tasks that need to be carried out together."

"Malcador, during this period, we need to increase the reconstruction efforts in various regions. The old vested interests must be cleansed out and all their assets must be seized."

"Mobilize those technical talents. No matter what method is used, I hope to restart the orbital factory as soon as possible. The Empire needs a large fleet to launch a great expedition."

"Anyone who tries to stop us, regardless of their identity or background, must be resolutely eliminated. I will never allow anyone to hold us back."

In order to save humanity, the Emperor never minded having blood on his hands.

End of the meeting.

The Emperor brought Raven into the laboratory to practice various knowledge and technologies obtained from the Super God Universe.

Malcador and Valdor went to do the various things the Emperor commanded.

"He trusted that raven."

There was a hint of jealousy in Waldo's tone.

Malcador tilted his head and looked at Waldo, and after a moment, he smiled.

"I thought you would never have mood swings, Constantine."

He turned his head and looked at the towering mountains. "Your Majesty allows the ravens to participate in power decision-making in order to help them develop a sense of belonging and responsibility to the empire.

The Imperium needs ravens as much as it needs you and me, and ravens have become an integral part of the Emperor's plan."

"You have to get used to it, Constantine. From now on, the empire will no longer be ruled by the three of us. Mr. Raven will also be included."
