Warhammer: Emperor's Ravenbringer

Chapter 59: Midnight Haunter vs. Bloody Man

Chapter 59: Midnight Haunter vs. Bloody Man
Curze wandered like a ghost in the dim Eldar warship.

His sharp claws were dripping with bright red blood.

While teleporting over, they unexpectedly encountered a small group of Dark Eldar forces.

Curze slaughtered the troop with ease, enjoying their despair and screams.

The soldiers of the Eighth Legion surrounded him and advanced in a stealth formation.

Tux, a Terran veteran who was implanted with the Empire's first-generation genetic engine, is the commander of this team.

They passed through a giant corridor made of crystals and soul bones.

Exaggerated and distorted sculptures stand on both sides of the road.

The air was filled with the smell of blood, and an unknown liquid made the deck sticky.

The flayed creatures were hung from the ceiling by hooks and chains, writhing in agony.

"It stinks." A soldier from the Legion complained: "This battleship is simply a slaughterhouse."

“What a depravity.” Curze said with a slightly amused tone, “As my father expected, such depraved creatures should not exist in this galaxy.”

"Father, what should we do next?" asked Turks.

The Primarch did not have command of the Legion.

But because of the gene seed.

The Legionaries generally have an attachment to their Primarch.

As a commander, Turks would subconsciously follow Curze.

Curze said: "Kill all the enemies on this ship who dare to resist."

"Are we taking prisoners?" Tucker asked.

Koz nodded.

"We must capture them and send them to an ice planet to be slaves growing potatoes."

Tucker looked confused.

"Why let them grow potatoes? And on an ice planet?"

Koz was stunned and stopped where he was.

"I can't remember the specific details, but my heart tells me that this matter is very important, even more important than capturing this battleship."

"As for why we grow potatoes on an ice planet, it may be because the taste is more unique."

"It's a strange reason, but we will follow your orders," said Tuckers.

Curze gave orders to his sons.

"You go destroy the energy stack and shield system of this battleship. I'll go to the bridge to find the ruler of this fleet."

"Wouldn't it be too risky to act alone?" Tuckers hesitated.

"Don't worry, I'm used to hunting alone and following orders, Turks," said Curze.

Turks wanted to tell the Primarch that you did not have the authority to command me.

But considering Koz's identity, he nodded.

"I understand."

Curze and his descendants were separated.

Tux led his men to the lower level to destroy the energy core and shield device of the Wraithbone Battleship.

And he went to the upper levels, spreading fear.

He wandered alone in the wraithbone warship.

Sometimes, he would hack into the battleship's communication system and play eerie words such as "Midnight Has Come" on a loop to create fear in the other party.

Sometimes, traps are set in various places.

Lure those conspiracy warriors to step in.

Although there was only one person, the Cabal soldier felt like he was fighting against an army.

Every team sent to clear out the invaders was either lured into a trap or not.

Just when they turned the corner, they suddenly saw a fierce ghost in the darkness giving them a bloodthirsty and cruel smile.

Fear filled the battleship.

The usually calm Blood Mercy Master Lakas revealed a solemn look.

The enemy's strength was beyond his expectations.

On the void battlefield, the warships of the Black Spike Conspiracy died one after another.

The screams of the soldiers before their death echoed in the communication.

From the lower deck of the flagship, news of the massacre of the red-eyed giant continued to arrive.

There is also an enemy calling himself the Night Haunter, spreading fear on the upper decks.

"We are the kings of darkness and fear! Midnight Haunter! I will find you."

Lacasse decided not to sit still and wait for death.

He assembled an elite team.

In addition to the conspiracy group's top fighters, there are also several nightmares in the team.

Nightmares are far stronger than your average Cabal warrior.

They strive for the perfect kill.

He is the most popular mercenary in Comoros.

The nightmares hired by Lakas are all top-notch players.

One alone can massacre an entire city.

Lakas led his team out to hunt the Midnight Haunter.

But he soon regretted his rash move.

From the moment he stepped off the bridge, Lacas felt like a pair of eyes were staring at him.

However, no matter how hard his guards tried to find him, they were unable to find him.

A Kabal warrior yelled in terror, and was then pulled into the darkness.

Several Nightmares rushed over at phantom speed but found nothing.

The enemy is like a ghost, appearing and disappearing at unknown times.

A few seconds later, a torn body fell in front of Lakas.

It was the unlucky guy who had just been dragged away.

From those puppet-like dull eyes, Lakas could sense the torture the other person had suffered in his life.

"Damn it."

Lakas was completely furious.

He felt that in front of the other party, he had become the prey that he had once toyed with.

"It is midnight, and I am here for you, Lakas."

A hoarse voice came from the end of the corridor.

A tall figure stood in the darkness, staring at them coldly.

The two nightmares rushed over at lightning speed, so fast that afterimages appeared in the air.

The poisoned blade cut through the air, splitting the figure in two.

The two nightmares did not feel the slightest bit of joy, but were instead filled with fear.

"It's a trap."

boom!
There was an explosion.

The two nightmares were blown away, their bodies torn into pieces, and blood was spilled on the spot.

"It is midnight, and I am here for you, Lakas."

A voice whose source could not be pinpointed echoed in the air, like some kind of vicious curse.

Lakas looked at the mutilated corpse of Nightmare, feeling both shocked and angry.

Fear is slowly growing in that cold heart.

"I have recorded this account."

"withdraw."

Lacas turned and walked away.

He didn't dare to get entangled with the evil spirit in the darkness anymore.

The Black Spike Cabal is losing the war in the Void.

He didn't have that much time to decide the outcome of this bloody game with his opponent.

Realizing that the other party was a tough opponent, he decisively chose to give up and prepare to evacuate.

Koz, lurking in the darkness, stared indifferently at the prey that wanted to escape, and followed it like a ghost.

The Conspiracy Warriors and Nightmares protected Lakas in the middle, running through the flagship and retreating to the apron.

There are several vampire raiders with phantom force fields parked there.

As long as they escape into the void on the Vampire Raider, they can escape via the Webway and return to Comoros.

Lakas swore that he would avenge today's incident.

One day, he will find the Night Haunter and torture him with the most terrible torture.

Let the other party know that the Blood-Lianren are the most untouchable existence in this universe.

The place where Lacas and others walked was very quiet, with only the buzzing sound made by the battleship system when it was running.

The crew and slaves were slaughtered by the evil human ghost hiding in the darkness.

The bodies were scattered all over the ground, and the ownerless body parts were everywhere.

The skinned bodies of the crew were hung from the vaulted ceiling by chains and cables.

On the way of evacuation, Lakas's team continued to lose members.

Whenever they pass through an area that is particularly dark or has flashing lights.

The evil spirit roaming in the darkness would take action and snatch one of them away.

Fear loomed in everyone's heart and became more and more intense.

When arriving at the tarmac.

A sudden flash and loud noise suddenly broke out in front of them, knocking them all to the ground.

"Let's end this game right here."

Voices and footsteps were heard together, and a shadow walked out of the darkness.

The glow of the silver claws illuminated the outline of the person coming, a human with a tall and majestic figure.

When the other person walked into the light, Lacas saw a pale face and a pair of obsidian eyes.

"kill him."

the surviving Kabal fighters shouted.

Nerve bullets and monomolecular blades loaded with toxins were fired out like a storm, attacking the enemy.

After a few seconds, the fight was over.

Only the Bloody Master Lakas, whose arm had been cut off, was left standing among a pile of broken corpses.

"It's nice to meet you, Master Bloody Mercy."

Koz walked up to Lakas, looked down at him, and smiled creepily.

When he ate the brain of the first unlucky guy, he knew everything about Lakas.

PS: Koz: "I think these black bean sprouts are just people who are trying to sell their heads."

"Raise an army and attack Comoros. Let those fools feel the terror of midnight."
