The Bodhisattva asked, "Your Majesty, what about the Peach Festival?"

The Jade Emperor replied, "The Peach Banquet is held every year and we enjoy it very much. But this year the evil monkey caused chaos, which was a false invitation."

Guanyin Bodhisattva asked: "Has the demon monkey achieved enlightenment? Why haven't I heard of any demon monkey achieving enlightenment recently?"

The Jade Emperor then told Guanyin Bodhisattva all that the demon monkey had done, and added that as the army had not returned for a day, it was unknown whether they would win or lose.

When Avalokitesvara heard this, he looked at the traveler Hui'an and said, "You should quickly come down from the Heavenly Palace and go to the Flower-Fruit Mountain to inquire about the military situation. If you encounter the enemy, help us."

The monk Hui'an took the order, straightened his clothes, picked up the iron rod, and rode on a cloud to the Flower-Fruit Mountain. Before long, he arrived outside the Flower-Fruit Mountain and into the camp of the heavenly soldiers.

The Four Heavenly Kings then met Li Tianwang, who asked, "Where are you from, kid?"

The traveler Hui An bowed and said, "I followed the Bodhisattva to the Peach Banquet, but I found the Jade Pool lonely and the Banquet desolate. So I went to see the Jade Emperor and found out what was going on. Now the Bodhisattva has ordered me to come here to inquire about the military situation."

The traveler Hui'an retreated to the camp and saw the Four Heavenly Kings and Li Tianwang again.

Li Tianwang asked, "My son, what do you say?"

The traveler Hui An replied, "Father, I fought with the great sage for several rounds and was sure I could not defeat him. I was about to retreat when I recognized the way the great sage came."

Li Tianwang asked again: "How did you get here?"

Hui An replied, "In the past, when Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva was holding a Dharma meeting, he invited a real person, whose Dharma name was Guangxin. This real person's Dharma was profound and wonderful, and he was praised by the Bodhisattva. He was on his way to the underworld, and the Bodhisattva asked his disciples to protect him. When I entered the underworld, I met this great saint causing trouble and making trouble in the underworld. I couldn't defeat him, but the real person used his great magical power to capture him. I thought that the real person was merciful and let him go. I didn't expect that he would cause such a big disaster now."

Li Tianwang said: "My child, you don't know that Master Guangxin and this demon monkey are from the same school."

When the traveler Hui An heard this, he was surprised and said, "No wonder this great saint has such great magical powers."

Li Tianwang said: "We can't do anything to this evil monkey now. My son, you should report to the Jade Emperor and ask him to send more troops to help."

I heard from my father that the Great Sage and Master Guangxin were from the same school."

The Bodhisattva bowed his head in thought.

The Jade Emperor opened the letter from Li Tianwang and took a closer look. He saw that he was asking for more troops. He smiled and said, "I can't stand this monkey spirit.
