Chapter 377 DNA Test Results Are in

Although Liang Jingfeng attended the meeting on the second day, which was meant to support Liang Hanyue, once he left, everyone in the company was full of doubts about Liang Hanyue.

How can those of us who worked our way up from the bottom possibly feel comfortable with having a pretty face who can only act parachuted in to manage the company?

Fortunately, Liang Hanyue did not take their contempt and disdain to heart. Without tangible results, all explanations and promises are just empty words.

**
Liang Hanyue stayed at the company to work overtime almost every night, while Liang Teng left work early. By the time she finished her work and looked up at the time on her computer, it was already 11 p.m.

As I was packing up to go back, my phone suddenly rang; it was an overseas call.

She immediately picked up her phone, nervously swallowed, and then answered the call, "Hello."

"It's me," came Lu Wenzhou's voice from the other end of the phone.

"I know," Liang Hanyue said, her voice slightly tense. "Are the DNA test results in yet?"

"Hmm." Lu Wenzhou knew she was anxious to know, so he called as soon as he had the results. "All the DNA test results for the remains have nothing to do with Jin Tian."

Liang Hanyue closed her eyes, took a breath, and her heart, which had been hanging in suspense for many days, finally settled down.

"So he didn't die, he's still alive, right!"

“It’s highly likely.” Lu Wenzhou didn’t dare to give her complete hope, fearing that the greater the hope, the greater the disappointment would be. “Because there are still several missing persons. Currently, Jin Yanchen and Lao He are both missing persons.”

“Yun Heng survived the car accident and falling into the sea, so I believe Jin Yanchen will also have a miracle.” Liang Hanyue was finally certain that he was still alive.

Just live.

When she lowered her head, tears unexpectedly streamed down her face.

“I’ve already arranged for Jin Tian to return to the Maldives. I want to stay a few more days to see if I can find any clues.” Since he’s already here, he wants to find more clues to put her mind at ease.

"Okay, be careful." Liang Hanyue gently reminded him, "Lu Wenzhou, your safety is also very important to me."

She didn't want something like what happened last time to happen again.

Lu Wenzhou teased, "You care about me so much, aren't you afraid Jin Yanchen will get jealous again?"

Liang Hanyue knew he was saying this on purpose to lighten the mood, and said softly, "I want both of you to come back safe and sound, promise me."

Lu Wenzhou was silent for a moment, then said slowly, "Okay, I promise you."

After hanging up the phone, Liang Hanyue clutched her phone tightly in her hand, still feeling so excited she wanted to cry.

Jin Yanchen is still alive.

He is still alive!

She started crying and then laughing again; if anyone had seen her, they would have thought she was crazy.

Having eaten little for dinner and in a good mood after receiving good news, Liang Hanyue felt a bit hungry and treated Su Xiao to a late-night snack.

Su Xiaoxiao didn't want her to spend money, so she drove her to her favorite wonton shop.

"Boss, is this place alright?" Su Xiaoxiao wiped the greasy, blackened benches and chairs with a tissue and explained, "Don't let the small size and unappealing environment fool you, the food is delicious and absolutely clean."

Liang Hanyue sat down, her face showing no disgust. "I understand the saying 'good wine is found in hidden alleys.'"

Seeing that she didn't mind, Su Xiaoxiao smiled and asked the owner for two large bowls of wontons.

Although it was almost midnight, quite a few people were still coming into the shop to eat wontons. Most of them were people who had been working overtime and were starving. They would walk into the wonton shop, eat a bowl of hot wontons, go home, take a hot shower, lie in bed, and fall asleep without having to think about anything. The owner served the wontons and then went to help in the kitchen. When customers came, Su Xiaoxiao would help greet them.

Liang Hanyue looked down at the ingot-shaped wontons, which were topped with scallions and minced meat. She could smell their aroma even before she took a bite, which was full of the warmth and comfort of everyday life.

I took a bite and it really tasted good.

Su Xiaoxiao returned after finishing her work and sat down, looking at her expectantly: "Boss, how did it go?"

"It's delicious." Liang Hanyue gave her a thumbs up. "You have a good eye for choosing places."

Su Xiaoxiao blinked her big eyes and lowered her head to eat seriously.

Knowing she liked fruit, the owner, who was almost too busy in the kitchen, brought over two apples, one for each of them.

After finishing a whole bowl of wontons, Liang Hanyue felt her stomach warm. "Do you often come here to eat wontons?"

Su Xiaoxiao nodded: "When I was little, my mother took me to the capital. We were penniless and so hungry that I had to fight with stray dogs for food. They gave me a bowl of wontons, which was the most delicious thing I had ever eaten in the world."

Liang Hanyue looked at the elderly couple busy in the kitchen, "They are good people, but why do they have to work so hard at their age?"

“Their son passed away early, leaving only the two of them and this shop. They don’t know what else to do if they don’t keep the shop open.” Su Xiaoxiao pouted. “They just want people their son’s age to have a bowl of hot wontons after get off work, so they don’t have to go home hungry to a cold stove with no hope.”

Liang Hanyue lowered her eyes and remained silent.

A commotion arose outside. Su Xiaoxiao had just stood up when she saw Neil and his bodyguards carrying Yun Heng's wheelchair across the steps into the room.

Yun Heng's injuries were probably not fully healed yet; his face was pale, and he looked sickly. However, when he saw her, a hint of warmth appeared in his lifeless eyes.

Su Xiaoxiao took out the baton from her waist, looking ready to fight.

"He can't do anything to me. You wait at the door," Liang Hanyue said softly.

Hearing her say that, Su Xiaoxiao walked towards the door, but as she passed Neil, she silently gave him the middle finger.

Good-looking but useless garbage.

Neil's face was gloomy, his eyes filled with murderous intent, but he did not forget his young master's instructions and suppressed the rage in his heart.

The wheelchair stopped in front of Liang Hanyue, and Yun Heng said gently, "Get me a serving of wontons too."

Neil nodded and walked to the cashier to order.

Liang Hanyue met his gaze without the slightest guilt or wavering, and said coldly, "Aren't you afraid I'll stab you again?"

Upon hearing her words, Neil was on the verge of bursting into fists.

Yun Heng's cold gaze swept over him warningly, but when he met Liang Hanyue's eyes, he revealed a gentle smile, "If it can make you feel better, I'll stab you ten more times without worry. Yueyue, you know I won't be angry with you, just like I know you won't really kill me."

Liang Hanyue frowned, and before she could speak, she heard him say, "It's not because you have feelings for me, but because you wouldn't ruin your life for anyone else. You cherish yourself more than anyone else."

"You think you know me very well?" Liang Hanyue asked coldly.

“I know you better than you know yourself,” Yun Heng said with certainty.

Liang Hanyue sneered: "Then tell me why I took over the Liang family's company, and what my next step is?"
