"This old Taoist knows that you wish to greatly promote the divine path and increase the influence of the Heavenly Court and the Underworld in the primordial world."
At that time, the old Taoist priest vaguely sensed that this matter was related to the rise of Buddhism in the West. He believed that if he could help you accomplish this, it might delay the rise of Buddhism.
So, many years ago, the old Taoist priest obtained a lotus seed from the Golden Lotus of Merit from the guide, and planted it beside your incense-burning golden statue, using the divine energy and fortune as nourishment for its growth.
Judging by the time, the seed of this Golden Lotus of Merit should be sprouting soon.

Upon hearing this, Yang Xuan looked enlightened and thought to himself, "No wonder."

When Laozi summoned Yang Xuan to this thatched hut, he gave Yang Xuan a medicinal pill.
After the incense-infused golden statue consumed the incense, it broke through its bottleneck and condensed a golden elixir in its dantian.

His physical body has broken through its limits, with one foot already in the Quasi-Saint realm. As long as there is enough incense offerings and prayers, he can reach the Quasi-Saint realm.

Over the years, Yang Xuan's faith in the prehistoric world has grown stronger and his incense offerings have become more and more prosperous. His incense golden body has already stepped into the quasi-saint realm and is comparable to the ancestral witches of the same realm!

Yang Xuan wondered why Laozi would do this and give him such a precious elixir.

Although Laozi's statement was that he used it to gather information about the chaotic gods and demons, and as a way of repaying those who had insights into the Great Tribulation.
