Chapter 784, Section 198: All Personnel Arrived
Arakasaka Seiyuki's arrival attracted everyone's attention. As the current CEO of Arakasaka, he can be said to be a person standing at the top of the world. Among the people present, there were not many people who had actually seen Arakasaka Seiyuki in real life. At least none of the New America representatives present had seen Arakasaka Seiyuki before. Almost all of them turned their attention to him the moment he arrived.

The first impression that this leader, Arakasa, left on the new American delegation was an almost overtly confident demeanor.

Although the years have etched fine lines around his eyes and his appearance shows that he is no longer young, his spirited demeanor when he walks by makes people completely ignore the traces of his age.

His eyes were sharp as knives, his steps were steady and powerful, and he exuded an aura that was impossible to ignore.

What is most impressive is the rare, almost fiery look on his face—like an inextinguishable flame, pulsating with vigorous vitality beneath his calm exterior.

This dynamic spirit is completely different from the stereotypical image of a corporate executive. Instead, it is more like that of a pioneer in his prime, exuding an inspiring and vigorous energy.

'So this is the current leader of Arasaka? He's certainly ambitious.'

This is the thought of every new American representative now.

They had never seen anyone so sharp and outspoken, nor anyone so confident in displaying their talents.

This was completely different from the Arakasaka Seigen they remembered—in the era of Arakasaka Saburo, he left the impression of being nothing more than a rebellious spendthrift. However, the man walking slowly towards them now exuded an aura of pressure that was impossible to ignore.

If someone were to assert now that he could lead the Arasaka Group to new heights, probably no one would question it, because the aura surrounding him is too intense, like an inextinguishable flame that burns away all doubts and contempt.

What's more, two chilling figures followed behind him—Adam Hammer and Goro Takemura.

Either of these two guards is one of the world's top security personnel. Their presence makes every step Arasaka Seibu take seem to carry an invisible pressure.

The sight of the three walking slowly forward resembled a moving ball of flame; the closer one got, the stronger the scorching pressure became, almost suffocating one.

The deep hum emanating from Adam's Hammer's mechanical body and Goro Takemura's razor-sharp gaze silently reinforced the fact that standing before them was a symbol of power that truly controlled the fate of the world.

As Adam Hammer strode forward with heavy mechanical steps, his crimson electronic eyes caught sight of Michiko Arasaka and Haruko. His gaze briefly met Michiko's before he sensed something and quickly turned to the other side—just in time to meet Kenichi Saburo's gaze.

The old man who had once given him a stern warning was now standing just a few meters away. However, times had changed, and when Adam Hammer faced this former intimidator again, what surged in his chest was neither fear nor anger, but a kind of numb calm.

He slightly raised his head, his scarlet visors gleaming with a dangerous light.

Their eyes held a mixture of contempt and an indescribable obsession—their gazes clashed in the air, neither willing to yield an inch.

This eye contact disappeared as Arasaka Seigen sat down.

After Arakasaka Seiyuki took the seat of honor, Adam Shigeki and Takemura Goro stood behind him on either side. Whether intentionally or not, Adam Shigeki deliberately stood closer to Michiko and Haruko on the left, and then continued to look at Kenichi Saburo.

Kenichi Saburo and Adam Hammer dislike each other, and there's a reason for that.

Adam Hammer once had a romantic relationship with Michiko Arasaka, but it was Kenichi Saburo's warning that brought that relationship to an end. While Adam Hammer doesn't necessarily hold a grudge about his past, it's certainly etched in his memory. In his mind, it's something almost as memorable as his past nemesis, Morgan Blackhand, something he still can't let go of.

This stems not only from his own displeasure at being warned by Kenichi Saburo and feeling suppressed, but also from his resentment at having his rare tranquil state of mind taken away.

This mechanical madman, whose modifications have reached 96%, still has a human head. As a human being, he inevitably feels some regret and dissatisfaction.

While Adam Hammer and Kenichi Saburo were glaring at each other, Arasaka Seigen looked in the direction of New America.

"It seems President Miles hasn't arrived yet."

"Yes, Mr. Arakasaka, His Excellency the President said it will take some more time."

In response to Arakasaka Seibu's question, the young man who arrived first answered respectfully, his words and tone flawless.

Arakasaka Seiyuki nodded slightly at the young man's answer, and then remained silent.

Because there's really nothing to talk about with the young man, even if he's someone Rosalind Miles values, or perhaps someone in her staff, his status isn't high enough to discuss real matters with him.

In the quiet atmosphere that followed Arakasaka Seibu's arrival, apart from the buzzing of the patrol drones and the whispers of the people at the meeting tables, there was nothing else in the room.

After five minutes of eerily quiet, footsteps broke the silence.

The president, who said it would take some time, did not delay for long and arrived before the scheduled meeting time.

Seeing the woman walking at the front, Arakasaka Seigen stood up to show his welcome and sense of equality:

"I hope last night's incident didn't affect your rest, President Miles," said Nobuyuki Arasaka, his voice carrying just the right amount of concern.

Rosalind Miles gave a formulaic smile: "It was just a minor incident, Mr. Sei-nobu." She deliberately used the honorific form of addressing him by his first name, maintaining the president's dignity while responding to his overtures.

Her gaze swept across the conference room, finally landing on the only empty chair. As Miles took his seat with steady steps, Li De behind her subtly adjusted his position.

The new US president's security detail is clearly stretched thin – her core security team was almost entirely wiped out after yesterday's plane crash.

Even intelligence agents like Li De are now being temporarily reassigned to serve as bodyguards.

Under the discreet gaze of the distance, all those involved in the meeting were present.
