Chapter 53 Dragon and Adventurer

"You and your sister? What about your sister?" Maro felt a little strange.

The young man shrugged nonchalantly and said, "She was captured by the Minotaur. She's probably giving birth somewhere now."

"Uh," Brittany also felt something was wrong, "Why don't you seem to be in a hurry?"

The boy frowned and thought for a moment, recalling how human society should react to this situation, so he smiled and said, "Our relationship is not very good."

Brittany nodded thoughtfully and said, "I see."

"So that's what it is!" Oliver was a little overwhelmed. Does this tiefling's brain follow his appearance?

“No matter how bad their relationship is, he wouldn’t be so calm! And how did a little kid like him survive the Underdark?!”

Colette remained silent at this time, with a trace of cold sweat on her forehead. Something was wrong.

This mysterious boy seemed to be dealing with a toy, finding some extremely lame excuses without worrying about being exposed.

Years of fighting experience allowed her to keenly observe that the opponent's body was in an extremely relaxed state, as if it was full of flaws.

He didn't take his group of people seriously!
The magic sword in the blonde girl's hand lit up with emerald green flames, instantly attracting everyone's attention.

Brittany was still carefree, looking at her with an expression of disbelief and accusing her: "Colette, what are you crazy about? He is just a child! Do you want to kill children?"

Oliver scratched his head frantically with his claws and shouted angrily: "He is a stupid child. At this age, he can get married and have children in the countryside! Do you have a brain, Brittany?"

The tall tiefling sorceress glared at the cat-man fiercely: "You stinky cat, I tease you with a cat teaser every day, and now you dare to scold me! Be careful or I'll take you to the veterinary clinic to have you castrated!"

The tabby cat man took a deep breath and his hair stood on end. He hated being compared to a cat the most!

Seeing that the team members were about to fight, Colette shouted coldly: "Enough, how long do you want others to laugh at you!"

Several people suddenly became quiet and looked in the direction where Colette was looking.

The boy was watching them with great interest, as if he was watching a live drama.

The meerkat on his shoulder rolled over and laughed, "Hahaha, humans are so stupid, humans are so stupid! Boss, we should catch them and make them fight for us every day!"

The meerkat's mockery made everyone realize that the boy in front of them had been teasing them. Even Brittany's eyes became angry. The hot-tempered Tieflings hated being deceived the most.

"Who are you and what do you want?" Collette asked as she swung the sword in her hand in a handsome way, pointing the tip of the sword directly at the young man.

Nemesis said with some distress: "I am doing this for your own good. If you choose to trust me and take me back to the human city, we will all be happy, right?"

"Now." He spread his hands and said slowly, "We have to use another method."

There was no sound, but everyone seemed to hear the sound of howling wind. A terrifying pressure swept out from the young man's body, dominating the world like a king.

Their muscles tensed and they knelt down involuntarily. The instincts engraved in their genes by their ancestors who evolved hundreds of millions of years ago warned them that it was an invincible predator, a monster at the top of the food chain.

"A dragon, it's a dragon." Maro prostrated himself and spoke with difficulty.

Colette, who was still struggling to hold on, panted rapidly under the dragon's might, her eyes filled with horror and fear. This terrifying dragon's might must have reached the level of a young dragon to suppress a level 7 swordsinger like her to such an extent.

She was desperate. A young dragon, except for the weakest white dragon, could only be dealt with by a strong person who had reached level 11 and obtained the power of paragon.

But in my team, except for myself, there is no other professional above level six!
"Yes, it is a dragon." Nemesis admitted with a smile.

He flipped open his thick spell book and slowly read through the pages, muttering, "Let me think, which spell can make you die without pain? Well, this one won't work. The range is too wide. I need to keep one alive. Well, this one is not good either. It doesn't look good and will dirty my floor."

"Ah, I found it!" When everyone was shivering after hearing this, Nemesis closed the book and made a happy decision.

A mysterious spell came out from the boy's mouth, but Maro could not understand most of it. As a fifth-level prophecy wizard, he realized that this must be the legendary dragon language, a language full of magic.

Three-ring conjuration spell——[Devouring Terror]!
A mass of gelatin gushed out from the ground, and then gathered into a three-meter-high sphere. A crack appeared in the center of the sphere, and two groups of sharp teeth appeared inside the gelatin.

Nemesis said with satisfaction, "Not bad, isn't it? It's called a colloid monster, and I call it a glutton. Once it swallows you, the strong acid will digest your muscles and fat, and the bones will be used to supplement its teeth. It's a very environmentally friendly little guy."

The colloid monster seemed to understand and made a gurgling sound and spit out a bubble.

Maro cried out loudly, "No! I don't want to be eaten by the gelatinous monster! I haven't become a legendary wizard famous in Faerun yet, Mystra, please save me!"

Nemesis curled his lips. Humans are always so mysteriously confident. Is it so easy to be a legendary wizard?

"Wait a minute!" Collette gritted her teeth and called out to the other party.

"I am Mende Rosa's daughter. As long as you keep me, I will not let you down."

Collette's words made the other teammates look at her in shock, except for Nemesis who still had no idea.

Seeing the other party's bewildered look, Collette continued to explain: "The Rosa family is the ruler of Degen City. My father is the earl appointed by King Inbutu himself. As long as you leave me, I am willing to swear allegiance to you. When I inherit the title, the entire Degen City will belong to you."

As long as she survives, as long as she survives, she will do everything she can to climb up! The Rosa family is hers, the earldom is also hers, and she will kill this hateful dragon when the time is right!

An unprecedented ambition ignited in the girl's heart, and she realized that this dragon would probably be the biggest help in her journey to the throne of earl.

Nemesis touched his chin. Colette's words aroused his interest. The ground was different from the Underdark. If he showed his true form and ruled Degen in a swaggering manner, adventurers who heard of his reputation would probably come to cause trouble for him soon.

But it would be different if we hid in the dark and relied on human help.

Degen City is different from the small workshop in the goblin city. The wealth on the ground is far different from that underground.

A large amount of resources will flow through his hands, filling his lair and accelerating his growth.

It must be said that Colette's words touched him.

"Your proposal impresses me, human," the silver-haired boy announced.

"But you don't need to swear an oath. I have a better way." He smiled, and the yellow vertical pupils in his eyes emitted a seductive light.
