Chapter 152 Maztec Mythology
At the moment when Ipana III died completely, the pyramid seemed to be activated by some conditions. The huge transparent prismatic gem on the top lit up, and then the entire underground cave space was illuminated by this light.

Nemesis saw huge rock carvings on the far wall of the cave, which seemed to be recording the battles between ancient gods.

The first picture shows a plump woman rising from the earth. She is wearing gorgeous animal skin and has a protruding belly. Next to her stands a man made of gold.

The second picture records the birth of a child in a woman's womb. Two twin boys born on the same day are raised up by a man made of gold, shining in the sun.

The third picture shows two children who have grown into young adults. One of them is brutal and bloody, with a pile of corpses lying at his feet.

The other child was much more interesting. He had dragon-like wings growing from his back, and his head also turned into a dragon-like one. He stood behind the former, looking at the corpse at his feet with disgust.

The fourth picture records two children who have grown up. The bloodthirsty and cruel child still maintains his bloody hobby after adulthood, while the other one has completely turned into a giant dragon. He is more and more disgusted with his brother's behavior and distances himself from him more and more.

In the fifth picture, the woman who had not appeared for a long time and the man with a body made of gold appeared, but their postures were so terrifying. Their heads were cut off and their bodies were scattered on the ground. The child born from the woman's belly stepped on the corpses of the two, and his eyes emanated a red light like that of a demon.

And that giant dragon has long disappeared.

In the sixth picture, the man who killed his parents became the ruler of the gods. At his feet lay the corpses of gods who were unwilling to submit to him, leaving only Tezca and Azul who bowed their heads to him.

However, the giant dragon stood on the opposite side of the gods. There was no one beside him, but there was an invisible ball of light floating around.

In the seventh picture, a ball of light flickered in the sky, and the gods knelt on the ground in pain. Countless chains appeared from the sky and bound the bodies of the gods, except for the dragon, which was still free.

The eighth picture shows the gods tied to the sky, with only a giant dragon wandering on the earth.

The story ends here.

Nemesis, who lacked knowledge of Maztec mythology, was completely confused by the story described in the murals. So he shook his head and was about to walk to the front of the pyramid to try to figure out how to get in when a voice suddenly sounded in his ears.

"You're confused, right? You don't know what the mural says?"

Nemesis suddenly raised his head, looked around, and his eyes became sharp.

But there was no one around him.

"Don't be curious. You have seen me a long time ago. I am one of my kind when you landed on this continent." The voice continued to appear, and a faint white light in the shape of a giant dragon appeared in front of Nemesis.

"Your Majesty Quart?" Nemesis asked hesitantly.

"Exactly."

"Are you also a dragon?" Nemesis asked the biggest question in his mind.

Quart chuckled and said, "Before that, let me tell you a story."

"Feathered Beast, Betrayer of the Gods, these are the nicknames the Maztecs have given me."

"Except for the Paite tribe that lives in isolation in the Far Forest, I am the only god in the world that is despised and scorned by mortals."

Nemesis was frightened by Quart's self-deprecation, fearing that the other party would get angry out of shame. He was also shocked that the mortals from the Maztec continent were seeking death. How dare they humiliate a god like this? These ignorant ants were so stupid that they deserved to die.

"But you know what?" Quart said, changing the subject with a hint of sadness. "They didn't call me that before." "A feathered dragon, a colorful guardian of good, my people once admired me like that."

"You must be very curious, right? Maybe you even secretly despise me? My fellow tribesmen? Why should I cooperate with you colonists? Why should I help you to harm my compatriots, my people?"

Nemesis shook his head decisively, his eyes full of rejection: "Absolutely not, respected God."

Just kidding, whoever admits it is crazy, although he did think so before.

Quart didn't seem to care. He chuckled and said, "I have to do this. I have lost all hope. Perhaps only you accidental colonists can save the Maztec continent that is destined to be destroyed."

"Destroyed?" Nemesis' heart moved, and suddenly for some reason he thought of the prophecy about the savior.

"In the beginning, there were only two gods on the Maztec continent." Quart began to tell the story.

"The incarnation of the Maztec continent - [Mother of Life] Maztec, and [Ancient Father of the Gods] Kukul."

"They are the parents of me and my brother, the Warbringer [Zartek]."

"Since I was born, I have sensed the endless evil will lingering in my twin brother. The horrible curse-like evil is affecting his mind all the time."

"As he grew up, my brother [Zaltek] became more and more cruel and bloody. He started wars crazily on the Maztec continent and enjoyed the blood sacrifices of mortals, which made our parents furious."

"But Zaltek knew how to be patient. Facing the source of the gods, he chose to be tolerant. This made my parents think that he had changed. Only I knew that it was just his disguise."

"The day he came of age, the day I officially transformed into my true self, Zaltek took action."

"He used despicable sneak attacks to kill his parents, whose true bodies had descended to the Prime Material Plane, destroyed their kingdom of God, and slaughtered all their believers, thus becoming the sole master."

"The incarnation of the sun, [Tezca], submitted to him, followed by the sinister villain [Azur]. After the gods of water and fire submitted to him, Zartek launched an endless war against the gods who disobeyed him."

"The gods fell, and only those who surrendered survived."

"After all the gods were dealt with, his target became me, his younger brother, the only god who saw through him, the only god who was unwilling to succumb to his bloody desires."

"I gave up resistance and did not stubbornly hide in my kingdom of God. I knew that sooner or later my believers would be brutally killed by him, and sooner or later my kingdom of God would be broken open by him over a long period of time. I descended my true body to the continent of the main material plane, hoping to die on the same land as my parents."

"Zartek has come before me with all the gods who submit to him. He wants to kill me in front of all the gods and establish his eternal hegemony."

“Until that one appears.”

"The one who is hidden behind the scenes and is unknown to any god."

"The one who created the kingdom and the universe, and who is above God."

"The Great One, the God above all Gods - His Majesty Io."

Finally, there is a suitable plot to describe Io's style.
