The wizard era begins with the alchemist wizard

Chapter 833: My King Wants to Talk to You

Chapter 833: My King Wants to Talk to You

As Richard passed through the dimensional portal, he felt as if he had crawled into the gaping maw of some colossal beast, right up to its stomach.

But the discomfort quickly disappeared.

Instead, it gives you a sense of comfort and security, like snuggling into a warm bed on a winter's day.

He possessed the blessing of the Abyss, and the Abyss was almost identical to the Wizarding World to Richard.

The scenery of the Abyss World remained unchanged; the only change was the newly born blood moon in the sky.

Richard spread his arms, and with each breath, an almost tangible abyssal power coursed between his mouth and nose, making him look as terrifying as a demon god or demon lord from a novel.

But in the Abyss World, such behavior would only be revered by the demons of the Abyss.

"Indeed, the Abyss World is more suitable for the survival of Abyss Titans," Richard sighed softly.

Even though he was the Blessed One of the Wizarding World, the environment there was not as comfortable for Richard as the Abyss World.

Beside him, Taral Peak's eyes were lifeless, clearly indicating that his soul was connected to the will of the abyss.

As a suddenly appearing Abyss Titan, and a Dominator-level Abyss Titan at that, he must be tested by the will of the Abyss.

A moment later, a massive will suddenly swept across the land.

That was the Overlord's Vision, exclusive to the Abyss Overlord's ascension. This meant that Tarar Peak had been recognized by the Abyss Will and had become a true Abyss Titan.

After the Dominator's Gaze ended, a crimson star suddenly appeared in the sky of the Abyss Great World.

The stars fell beside Richard's blood moon, like soldiers guarding it.

Taral Peak came to his senses and said with a slight sigh, "I never thought they actually succeeded. A living world, a living dimension, it's simply unbelievable."

Clearly, he obtained a great deal of information about the Abyss from the Abyss's will.

Without lingering, Richard immediately led Taral Peak to the World Tree at the center of the Abyss World.

The World Tree is the embodiment of the will of the abyss; conversing there, even if a battle ensues, would be advantageous for Richard and his companion.

……

At the heart of the Abyss World, the three guardians of the Abyss World reunite once again.

The creature with a mouth, devouring everything, said to the observer with eyes, "Observer, have I been abandoned by the Abyss? I haven't noticed the slightest fluctuation in the new ruler's advancement."

The inspector swayed slightly, his eyes darting around erratically.

As an observer, his eyes can connect with all the abyssal demons except for the Overlord.

But now, he couldn't find any trace of the Sovereign's advancement, as if the Sovereign had sprung out of a stone.

"Devour, you must be careful with your words," the usually taciturn Action spoke.

"The greatness of the abyss is beyond our comprehension."

As the most stubborn of the three guardians, Xingdong has always treated the will of the abyss with the respect of a father and the love of a mother.

Devourer remained silent, knowing his companion's temperament; arguing with him was pointless.

Suddenly, the eyes on the monitor fixed on them.

He transformed into human form and bowed slightly to the east.

"Greetings, Your Majesty."

Before he could finish speaking, two imposing figures emerged from the void.

Richard looked at the three guardians and smiled, "Gentlemen, I have important matters to discuss with the two rulers."

Upon seeing Richard, the other two guardians immediately showed their respect with different forms of etiquette.

Although Richard was not a native Abyss demon, his status as the ruler of the Abyss was beyond question.

Even the Abyss acknowledges Richard as its ruler, so what do the thoughts of these guardians matter?
As they bowed, the three guardians' "gaze" seemed to fall subtly on Mount Taral beside Richard.

They cared more about the existence of Mount Tarar than about Richard.

Tarlar Peak stood beside Richard, motionless like a statue, yet all three guardians sensed a masterly aura emanating from him, an aura that looked down upon all things.

Without a doubt, Taral Peak is the newly emerged ruler of the abyss.

Moreover, all three guardians sensed an aura of "time" emanating from Mount Taral.

Those are the marks left on the soul by the sovereign after countless years.

Even if the ruler's body is young, these marks can still tell others that he is an old man.

"Could it be that the creator of the past still has a ruler in the world?"

The three guardians felt a chill run down their spines. After Richard became the ruler, information about the Titans could now be accessed by them.

The three guardians also knew that the Abyss was not naturally formed, but was created by the Titan Shepherd.

Now, suddenly an old ruler with the marks of time has appeared, and he has been recognized by the Abyss as the Abyss Ruler.

It's hard not to think of the Titans of the past for the three Guardians.

But if this Titan is truly the creator of the past, why hasn't he appeared all these years?
Chaotic thoughts swirled in the guardians' minds, and they realized that they were missing a crucial piece of information.

In the blink of an eye, Richard finished speaking, and the Inspector immediately replied, "Your Majesty, there is currently only Lord Beelzebub as the ruler of the Abyss Great World."

If you and this lord need to discuss important matters with the two rulers, then I will inform Lord Samael now.

Richard nodded: "This matter certainly needs to be known by both rulers, but I can see Beelzebub first." The overseer then relayed the news that Richard had come to the Great World of the Abyss to discuss important matters with him to Samael, who was fighting on the front lines.

At the same time, the action and the devouring vanished from their spot—they had gone to fetch Beelzebub.

A moment later, the inspector bowed to Richard again.

"I have informed Lord Samael, but he is currently engaged in a fierce battle and will likely not be able to return for some time."

Richard nodded, and didn't make things difficult for the inspector—what he said was indeed very much in line with Samael's character.

"It's not too late to do this after he's finished fighting."

On the other side, Action and Devouring, using the Origin Teleportation, have arrived at a vast swamp in the eastern part of the Abyss Great World, a swamp that is almost an ocean.

The swamp is overgrown with twisted abyssal plants, and the toxic stench accumulated deep within it constantly rises from the bubbles; even a wisp of it is enough to make a level one creature vomit its own bile.

Even the most powerful demons rarely survive in this swamp.

However, few demons know that this swamp is Beelzebub, the gluttonous overlord, his favorite abode.

"Lord Beelzebub, Lord Richard of the Wizards wishes to discuss a very important matter with you," Devourer called out to the swamp.
After he finished speaking, the bubbles in the swamp began to bubble violently, and streams of stench ten times worse than the most foul-smelling garbage dump surged out of the swamp along with the bubbles.

A moment later, a huge face appeared on the swamp.

"Richard Overlord, that's a good title. What does this Wizard Overlord want with me?"

Devourer honestly replied, "My lord, I don't know either. However, this Richard Overlord brought an old Overlord, whom I suspect is a member of the Creator's clan."

"The Old Ruler? A member of the Creator's clan?"

A hint of surprise flashed across the giant face formed from the swamp.

The next moment, the entire swamp began to churn.

A colossal body, as large as a mountain, slowly emerged from the swamp. Its appearance was very similar to that of a type of abyssal demon called the Big-bellied Demon.

Dark green skin, a huge belly, short and thick limbs, and a small, disproportionate head.

But unlike Beelzebub, Beelzebub has a hideous mouth on his belly.

"No wonder I've been feeling uneasy lately; something big is about to happen. No wonder that wizard was able to become the ruler; it seems that the wizard was a key, a key to awaken the civilization of the past."

Devourer didn't know what Beelzebub was saying, so it pretended not to hear him and stayed quietly in place without moving.

Beelzebub bent down and scooped something out of the swamp, then pulled out a pitch-black wooden staff. The staff seemed to have been made by a World Tree, but at this moment, it had been corrupted by the power of the abyss. The canopy that represented prosperity had now become a nest of tentacles, and the fruit that represented life had turned into the heads of creatures.

As they are swung, these heads emit shrill screams.

“Open the door, Devour. I’m going to meet this Creator and see if he’s worthy of the title.”

……

At the center of the world, Richard and Mount Taral sit on the platform where Richard once received the inheritance of the Abyss, quietly awaiting Beelzebub's arrival.

Suddenly, Richard and Taral looked in the same direction at the same time.

A vortex appeared where their eyes met, and then a pot-bellied demon, reeking of stench and carrying a wooden staff, walked in.

"Hahaha, it seems that our Abyss has truly ushered in a good time. One ruler after another has appeared. It hasn't been long, and two rulers have already emerged in succession."

Beelzebub entered the platform, his dim eyes shifting slightly before his gaze swept over Richard.

"Hmm? The wizards are fighting pretty hard, they actually managed to get this kid drunk to this extent."

Beelzebub could naturally see Richard's physique. He had only been a ruler for a few decades, yet his physique had soared to 7,500 points.

This unusually rapid rate of improvement inevitably leads one to think of brute-force resource accumulation.

"Unfortunately, a ruler created with abundant resources is just a figurehead. In battle, it can only serve as a support at best."

Beelzebub shifted his gaze from Richard, and his disdainful look turned serious.

Compared to Richard, Mount Tarar gave him a different feeling.

The aura of time that only comes from enduring countless years on Mount Tarar is enough to make any ruler cautious.

Not to mention, this ruler also possesses the aura of a grandmaster who looks down upon the world.

In almost an instant, Beelzebub elevated Mount Tarar to the same level as himself.

The power of a Limit Breaker is undeniable, but this does not mean that a Limit Breaker can necessarily crush an ordinary Overlord.

For beings that have evolved spiritually, knowledge is more important than spiritual power.

The marks of time on Taral Peak and his mental strength, which had reached its limit, almost led Beelzebub to conclude that he was a ruler with extremely profound knowledge.

Such a ruler is not someone that a broken-limit ruler who has not yet accumulated much power can look down upon.

"May I ask your name?" Beelzebub asked, squinting his eyes with a hint of respect.

“Taral Peak,” Taral Peak replied calmly.

"Then, may I ask, what matter do you wish to discuss with me?"

Taral Peak frowned slightly. How could this Abyss Overlord have no discernment at all?

He rose and stood beside Richard, like a servant. Then, he solemnly addressed Beelzebub:

"It's not that I want to talk to you about anything, it's that my king wants to talk to you about something."
