Chapter 25: Laena Velaryon

After everyone was introduced one by one, the situation eased a little.

The ladies chatted with each other, discussing all kinds of gossip.

Only Rainier was forgotten. She stood aside awkwardly and couldn't get a word in at all.

Aemon glanced at the sigils on the ladies' garments; all were of the line of Oldtown or of the Reach.

An old lady from the Redwyn family spoke the most. She opened the conversation by saying, "I heard that when Lord Sven's ship passed through the Stepstone Islands, Miss Joanna was kidnapped."

Allison was surprised and asked, "What about Miss Johanna?"

She was a noble lady, and even if she was rescued she would be humiliated without guilt.

The old woman held a pug in her arms and said calmly, "She will be sold to a brothel in the Free Cities, if you believe these messages."

The ladies were silent for a moment, realizing that this was true.

Aemon was bored and uninterested.

"excuse me."

Just then, an interesting person came, dragging a strangely bent foot.

Laris leaned on a cane and said in a low voice: "Ladies, I am afraid that the gods have not given me a good body for hunting. Can I sit with you?"

"Of course, let's sit together."

Allison kindly took him in and introduced him: "Laris Strong, the youngest son of Lord Justice Minister Leonor."

She was still very gentle during this period, and even the identity of the second son was included in the term "youngest son".

Larris nodded in thanks and sat down humbly.

Although he has a bad appearance, he dresses very formally, so he won't offend others by acting as an invisible person.

Aemon stared at him for a few moments, satisfying his curiosity.

This guy is a ruthless person with a vicious heart. It is better to find an opportunity to kill him secretly.
Larris felt a chill on his back, and his already thin body shrank. He glanced at the people present in doubt and surprise.

Of course Aemon would not be discovered by him.

"My husband said that no one can tame the Stone Steps Islands for long..."

A bloated lady spoke again, but was interrupted by a loud noise.

Everyone turned their heads to look, and saw a head of long silver-gold hair passing by the tent door.

"Huh?" Aemon sat up straight.

Then, surrounded by a group of young nobles, a second girl with silver hair and purple eyes walked into the tent.

"Lanael!"

Rainier's eyes lit up and she went over to him as if she had found a confidant.

Iemon's head was dazed, and he stared at the charming girl.

Her silver-gold wavy hair reaches her waist, her skin is smooth and white, and her tall figure outlines her seductive curves.

At first glance, he looked only a few years older than Rhaenyra.

Her every move is dignified and graceful, and she has begun to show the charm of a mature woman.

Aemon was surprised and asked, "Shouldn't the people of House Velaryon be on Tidehead?"

Laena Velaryon, the eldest daughter of the sea serpent Corlys and the uncrowned queen Rhaenys, and a dragon rider of Targaryen blood.

He tamed the oldest and largest ancient dragon "Vhagar" in the world when he was less than 12 years old.

Five years have passed, and she has become a mature female rider.

"Rhaenyra, long time no see."

Lannar was generous in character. She took her old friend's hand and walked over here together.

"Why are you here, hunting?"

Lenira was puzzled.

The figures of the two immediately attracted countless eyes.

There was also King Viserys, who was sitting on the main throne, looking at Lannar in doubt and even ignoring the words of the ministers beside him.

But he was the king of a country after all, and he quickly regained his composure.

Meanwhile, Rhaenyra finally took her seat.

Seeing Lannar visiting, a noble lady voluntarily gave up her seat to the two daughters of noble Valyria.

"Don't worry about me. I came too late by boat."

Lannar's eyes were soft and her voice was magnetic, signaling everyone to start chatting.

The ladies looked at each other, and gradually the atmosphere became lively.

In fact, Lannar has a special identity.

The Kingdom is at war with the Stepstone Islands, and the main fighters are the sea snakes Corliss and Daemon.

She appeared at the Royal Hunt, and the topic was about the attitude of the royal family and the Velaryon family towards each other. As soon as she opened her mouth, the topic involuntarily turned to the Stepstones.

Aemon leaned his head out and looked at Lanaar who was sitting opposite him.

I heard her say that she came by boat, which means she didn't ride a dragon.

"Hello, Aemon."

Lannar smiled sweetly and waved at him, like an older sister next door.

Yimon smiled awkwardly and quickly retracted his head.

This person is really powerful and you can't afford to offend him.

Fortunately, his name was given by his great-grandfather Jaehaerys to commemorate his heir "Aemon" who died unexpectedly.

As far as I can remember, the people of Chaotou Island were quite friendly to him.

During the time they spent saying hello, the topic gradually became outrageous.

An old lady near Allison changed the subject and began to provoke: "What do you think of the Stepstone Islands, Princess?"

Rhaenyra was stunned when she heard this, and replied in good faith: "Oh, I'm not sure. I haven't been to the Stepstone Islands."

She naively thought it was just an ordinary chat.

The old lady held the wine glass and spoke sharply: "Your dear uncle is the mastermind behind this war, isn't he?"

Eamon's expression changed slightly and he stared at Allison who was watching the show.

If you want to cause trouble for Rhaenyra, then just cause trouble for her. Why drag him into this with his father?

And said it to his face.

Sensing that the atmosphere was not right, Rhaenyra evaded the question by saying, "I don't know. I haven't spoken to Daemon in a few years."

Damon was away fighting and ignored even his own son.

The old lady was still unwilling to let him go, and continued to make things difficult for him: "Since you replaced him as the crown prince, right?"

No longer concealing it, he took the opportunity to question Rainier's status as heir.

Allison felt a little overwhelmed and tried to smooth things over with a smile: "It's Damon's fault..."

Just as he opened his mouth, a glass flew past his eyes.

Snapped! !

The cup fell directly at the old woman's feet and instantly shattered into powder-like residue.

The old woman was so frightened that she screamed and jumped out of her chair.

"Old woman, you are so talkative!"

Aemon started cursing and grabbed a goblet filled with wine and threw it at him.

"Aemon!"

Allison was stunned. When she came to her senses, the boy beside her had already rushed out.

There was a snap.

The wine glass just missed hitting the back of the chair, and the red wine mixed with glass shards splashed all over the old woman.

Yimeng's face was gloomy, not at all tolerant: "Old man, you like to gossip behind my back so much, how many soldiers do you have!?"

The old woman was soaked and her wrinkled face was scratched by the glass. She screamed in horror: "What are you doing? This is the king's tent."

Who dares to make trouble here?
Aemon dared.

He picked up a wine bottle and smashed it, then charged forward like a firecracker: "My father has pissed you off, so you have no right to talk nonsense!"

You can suppress Rainier, or you can call him an irresponsible father.

But in front of him, he set a trap for Rhaenyra, using the excuse that his father was at war.

If you can't bear it any more, just beat me.

"Aemon, stop it!"

Allison was completely dumbfounded and reached out to stop it.

Unfortunately, it can't be stopped at all.

Aemon was very strong, and the broken edge of the bottle was sharp, so the wine and glass shards splashed everywhere.

The human-shaped little Tyrannosaurus Rex was in such a posture that no one dared to stop him within three feet of him.

In just a few seconds, chaos broke out with screams.

Yimeng narrowed his eyes, threw a half-broken bottle at the old lady's forehead, and yelled, "You're mentally ill, open it and heal it."

With a "bang", it hit the bull's eye.

In an instant, blood began to flow and the screams became louder.
