Chapter 476 The most dangerous part is yet to come!
“Old Chen…” Allen said, moved.

“Furthermore,” Old Chen continued, “I don’t like the current government either. They appear glamorous on the surface, but they’ve always oppressed and exploited us ordinary people. If you want to fight against them, then I support you.”

“Thank you,” Allen said, shaking Old Chen’s hand. “I will never forget your help.”

"Don't say that," Old Chen waved his hand, "Just tell me what you need."

“We need to set up a temporary base here,” Ghost said, “mainly for hacking into the port’s network systems. It will take a few days.”

“No problem,” Old Chen nodded. “I have a spare room upstairs that you can use. Besides, it’s very close to the port, so the internet signal should be pretty good.”

“Great,” the ghost nodded in satisfaction.

With Lao Chen's help, the three of them set up a temporary base upstairs in the restaurant.

The ghost immediately began working. He brought in various equipment, strung data cables all over the room, and had more than a dozen screens running simultaneously, displaying dense lines of code.

Allen went out to contact his old friends and gather intelligence about the port.

Rowan stayed behind to assist Ghost, while pondering the details of the entire plan.

“You have a good friend,” Ghost said as he worked, “who’s willing to take such a big risk for you.”

“Yes,” Rowan remarked, “before I came to this planet, I never imagined I would meet so many good people. Allen, Old Chen, and now you, are all willing to risk your lives to help us.”

“Don’t try to portray me as so noble,” the ghost sneered. “I’m helping you for my own sake. If the ‘Divine Punishment’ weapon is actually deployed, the entire planet will be in danger. While I’m not some saint, I don’t want to die from such a senseless weapon.”

“Whatever the reason, you’re helping us,” Rowan said. “That’s enough.”

The ghost didn't speak again and continued to focus on its work.

A few hours later, Allen returned with a large stack of documents in his hands.

"Got it," Allen said excitedly. "The port layout map, the spaceship timetable, and detailed instructions on the security procedures."

He spread the documents on the table, and the three of them gathered around to study them carefully.

“Look here,” Allen said, pointing to an area on the layout map. “This is entrance number seven in the freight area. According to my friend, security at this entrance is relatively lax because it mainly handles large cargo, and the inspectors focus more on the cargo itself than the accompanying personnel.”

“That’s good news,” Ghost nodded. “Then we can disguise ourselves as freight company employees and go through this entrance with the cargo.”

“But identity verification is still required,” Rowan cautioned. “And the freight company’s employee information is definitely recorded in their database. How can we impersonate them?”

“Leave this to me,” Ghost said confidently. “I’ll create a few temporary freight company employee identities in the database. As long as I choose a small, inconspicuous company, it should be fine.”

“There’s also the spaceship schedule,” Allen pointed to another document, “There are three cargo ships going to the orbital transfer station every day, at 8:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 8:00 PM. I suggest we choose the 2:00 PM one, because that’s when the passenger flow is highest, making it easier to blend in.”

“That makes sense,” Rowan agreed.

Late at night, the ghost suddenly shouted excitedly, "Success! I've hacked into the port's system!"

Rowan and Allen immediately leaned over to look at the data displayed on the screen.

“This is the port’s real-time monitoring system,” Ghost explained. “I can see the footage from every camera, the status of every security checkpoint. Furthermore, I have partial access to the database and can modify some records.”

"Great!" Rowan breathed a sigh of relief. "This greatly increases our chances of success."

“But that’s not enough,” Ghost said. “I need more time to create the perfect disguise. At least another day.”

“No problem, we’re not in a rush,” Rowan said. “Safety first.”

After a full day of preparation, all the plans are in place.

Ghost successfully created two perfect disguises—Rowan became "Mark Chen," a loader from the small freight company "Interstellar Logistics"; Zhang Wei became "Lisa Wang," a clerk at the same company.

Furthermore, the ghost added the freight company's complete record to the government database, including company registration information, operating history, and even employee lists and work records. Although it was fake, it looked exactly like the real thing in the database.

“Your new identities have been activated,” Ghost said to Rowan and Zhang Wei. “The information in the chip has been updated; you are now employees of ‘Interstellar Logistics.’ This company does exist; it’s a small family business that mainly transports daily necessities. The owner is Chen Zhiqiang, 63 years old, a low-key person who rarely interacts with the outside world.”

"Is there any particular reason why you chose this company?" Rowan asked.

“Of course,” Ghost chuckled. “This company may be small, but it has a good reputation and regular freight contracts at the port. Besides, the owner is getting old and hasn't been in good health lately, so the actual operations are handled by his son. I hacked into their system and found that their employee management is very lax; they often hire temporary workers and don't pay much attention to details. This is a perfect cover for us.”

"What if someone contacts this company to verify our identities?" Zhang Wei worried.

“No,” Ghost said confidently. “I’ve already set up an interception program in their communication system. Any inquiries about you will be automatically redirected to a virtual customer service system with standard responses. Furthermore, I’ve arranged a real cargo mission for you—your ship departs tomorrow afternoon at 2 PM with a shipment of 'Interstellar Logistics' goods bound for an orbital transfer station. You’ll be the escorts.”

Rowan had to admire Ghost's professionalism. The plan was almost flawless, taking into account every possible loophole.

"So what are our specific procedures for tomorrow?" Zhang Wei asked.

Allen took out a detailed flowchart and placed it on the table: "First, you need to arrive at the port at 10:00 AM and enter through Entrance Number Seven. This entrance mainly handles the cargo of food and daily necessities, so security checks are relatively lax."

"Upon entering the port, you will proceed to Warehouse Number Three, where 'Interstellar Logistics' cargo—a batch of vacuum-packed food and daily necessities—is stored. Your task is to inspect the cargo, sign the transport documents, and then accompany the cargo through the final security check before boarding the spaceship."

“The final security check is the most dangerous part,” Ghost added. “The scanning equipment there is very advanced; it not only checks identity but also analyzes energy fluctuations, biometrics, and even micro-expressions. If anything is abnormal, you will be stopped immediately.”

“So,” the ghost looked at the two seriously, “at that moment, you must act like real freight company employees. Don’t be nervous, don’t look around, and don’t unleash any power of law. Treat yourself as an ordinary person, an ordinary office worker who just wants to finish their work on time and leave on time.”

“I understand,” Rowan nodded.

“Me too,” Zhang Wei said.

“One more thing,” Allen reminded them, “you’d better practice beforehand. I have some materials here about the freight process; you need to familiarize yourselves with all the terminology and operating procedures. If the inspectors ask, you must be able to answer fluently.”

Over the next few hours, Luo Wen and Zhang Wei began intensive study and practice.

They learned how to fill out shipping documents, how to check the integrity of goods, how to hand over to warehouse managers, and even how to deal with various emergencies.

Allen, playing the role of an inspector, kept asking them questions to test their reactions. "Where is this shipment destined for?"

“Railway transfer station, C-7,” Rowan answered fluently, “the recipient is ‘Starry Sky Supermarket,’ and the shipment number is RT-3347-B.”

"Total weight of goods?"

“Three point two tons,” Zhang Wei continued, “including packaging materials.”

"Why are you sending someone to escort the shipment this time? Previously, your company's goods were always shipped directly."

This was a tricky question. Luo Wen and Zhang Wei exchanged a glance, then Luo Wen replied, "Because this shipment includes some high-value imported food, the boss was worried about problems during transport, so he specifically arranged for us to escort it."

Allen nodded. "Good answer. But remember, if you really encounter this kind of question, don't think for too long before answering; that will seem suspicious. Be natural, as if it's really part of your job."

The two continued practicing until they were able to handle various problems.

By late at night, all preparations were complete.

“Get a good rest tonight,” Allen said. “You’ll need plenty of energy tomorrow. Remember, the whole process will take about four hours—arriving at port, inspecting the cargo, waiting to board, going through final security, and getting on board. During these four hours, you must remain vigilant, but without showing any signs of tension.”

“We will,” Rowan assured him.

At 9:30 a.m. the next day, Luo Wen and Zhang Wei appeared on time outside the No. 7 entrance of the cargo port.

They were wearing "Interstellar Logistics" company uniforms—simple blue uniforms with the company logo printed on the chest. Luo Wen carried a tool bag, and Zhang Wei held a tablet computer; they looked like two ordinary freight company employees.

Long queues formed at the port entrance, filled with employees and drivers from various freight companies. The air was thick with the smells of engine oil and cargo, and massive cranes overhead moved containers with a deep, rumbling sound.

“Relax,” Rowan whispered to Zhang Wei, “Just like we’re really here to work.”

Zhang Wei took a deep breath and nodded.

The line moved forward slowly. Everyone had to pass through a security gate and undergo identity verification by a robot.

When it was Luo Wen and Zhang Wei's turn, a silver robot stopped them.

“Identification,” the robot said, a red scanning beam shooting from its eyes.

Rowan forced himself to remain calm, letting the beam scan his entire body. He could sense that the beam was not only reading chip information but also analyzing his biometrics.

“Mark Chen, Interstellar Logistics, loader,” the robot read out. “Authentication successful.”

Then it was Zhang Wei's turn. The same scan, the same procedure.

"Lisa Wang, Interstellar Logistics Company, Clerk, Identity Verification Successful."

Luo Wen breathed a sigh of relief. He had passed the first hurdle.

"Please proceed to Warehouse Number Three," the robot pointed inside the port, "your cargo awaits inspection there."

The two nodded and walked into the harbor.

The port was busier than ever. Cargo and vehicles were everywhere, and workers were busy loading and unloading various supplies. Monitoring drones hovered in the sky, constantly scanning the entire area.

“Look there,” Zhang Wei quietly pointed into the distance, “there are at least twenty drones patrolling.”

"And there are cameras everywhere," Rowan also noticed. "The surveillance density here is even higher than in the city center."

“There’s no way around it, the port is an important facility,” Zhang Wei said. “And with the recent wanted notice for us, security is definitely going to be tighter.”

The two arrived at Warehouse No. 3. It was a huge building, at least three stories high, filled with all sorts of goods.

At the warehouse entrance, a middle-aged man was waiting with a tablet computer in his hand.

“People from Interstellar Logistics?” he asked, seeing the two men.

“Yes,” Zhang Wei stepped forward, “we’re here to inspect cargo RT-3347-B.”

“Follow me,” the middle-aged man led them into the warehouse to a row of shipping containers. “This is your cargo. Thirty boxes in total, all food and daily necessities.”

Luo Wen and Zhang Wei began inspecting the goods according to procedure. They opened several boxes, checked whether the items inside matched the list, and inspected whether the packaging was intact.

Throughout the process, the middle-aged man supervised from the side, occasionally taking notes on his tablet.

“Everything is normal,” Zhang Wei said to the middle-aged man after the inspection. “It can be loaded onto the ship now.”

“Okay,” the middle-aged man said, making a few gestures on the tablet. “The cargo will be loaded onto the transport trucks at noon and sent to the boarding area. Your 2 PM ship should arrive at the boarding area half an hour beforehand.”

“Understood, thank you,” Rowan said.

After leaving the warehouse, the two had a simple lunch at a small restaurant inside the port. Surrounded by workers and freight company employees, no one paid them any attention.

"So far everything has gone smoothly," Zhang Wei said softly, "but the most dangerous part is yet to come."

“I know,” Rowan said. “The final boarding security check is the biggest test. The equipment there is the most advanced, and the checks are the most rigorous.”

"Furthermore," Zhang Wei worriedly added, "what if my wanted poster suddenly pops up?"

“No,” Rowan reassured him. “Ghost said he added a blacklist to your wanted list; it will only appear when someone actively searches for your name. Regular authentication won’t trigger an alert.”

“I hope so,” Zhang Wei said.

Time flew by and it was already 1:30 in the afternoon.

Luo Wen and Zhang Wei arrived at the boarding area. Hundreds of people had already gathered there, all of them passengers and cargo personnel boarding the two-point spaceship.
