Chapter 463 Jack the One-Eyed!
“But Jack is definitely on his flagship,” Thor said. “That flagship is in the very center of the pirate fleet. How do we get there?”

“A sneak attack,” Rowan said. “The three of us will pilot a small shuttle, disguised as a pirate fighter jet, and infiltrate the area.”

“This is too risky,” Hong said worriedly. “If we’re discovered, we’re dead.”

“But if we succeed, it could turn the tide of the war,” Rowan said firmly. “We must take this risk.”

Hong and Thor exchanged a glance, both seeing the determination in each other's eyes.

"Alright, let's do it!" Thor gritted his teeth.

“I will go and report to Lord Morris,” Hong said.

A few minutes later, the three arrived at the command center. Morris listened to their plan and remained silent for a moment.

“It’s too dangerous,” Morris finally said. “The core area of the pirate fleet is heavily guarded; you might not return.”

“We know,” Rowan said, “but this is the best chance to turn the tide of the war.”

Looking into the determined eyes of the three young men, Morris felt a surge of respect.

“Alright, I approve your operation,” Morris said, “but you must take this with you.”

He handed Rowan a small device.

“This is a high-energy beacon,” Morris explained. “Activate it if you successfully approach Jack’s flagship. I will then dispatch elite troops to support you.”

“Understood,” Rowan said, taking the beacon. “We won’t let you down.”

“Go,” Morris said in a deep voice, “be careful.”

The three turned and left the command center, heading to the hangar. They selected the fastest small shuttle and had the technicians paint pirate symbols on its exterior.

“The camouflage is complete,” the technician said. “From the outside, it looks no different from a pirate fighter jet. But this camouflage can only fool long-range scans; it will be immediately exposed upon close inspection.”

“That’s enough,” Rowan nodded. “We’ll be careful.”

The three boarded the shuttle. Rowan sat in the driver's seat, while Hong and Thor sat in the passenger seats.

"System check complete, you are ready to depart," the AI prompted.

“Let’s go then,” Rowan took a deep breath and started the engine.

The shuttle flew out of the Conqueror's hangar and blended into the chaos of the battlefield. Rowan piloted it carefully, avoiding the dense firepower, and approached the core area of the pirate fleet.

“Watch out, there’s a squadron of pirate fighters ahead,” Hong warned.

“We see them,” Rowan adjusted his course and followed the group of fighter jets. “We’ll follow them and blend in.”

The shuttle successfully infiltrated the pirate fighter formation. The surrounding pirate pilots had no suspicions whatsoever and even communicated with each other via the communication channel.

"Third brother, how many enemy planes did you shoot down over there?"

"Five planes, and you?"

"Seven planes! Haha, I won!"

Luo Wen and the other two remained silent, not daring to respond, for fear of revealing a flaw.

The fighter squadron traversed the chaotic battlefield, gradually approaching the heart of the pirate fleet. A massive warship came into view—it was Jack the One-Eyed's flagship, the "Raider," a converted cargo ship stretching four kilometers in length.

“That’s the one,” Thor whispered.

“I see it,” Rowan’s eyes sharpened. “Prepare for action.”

Just as the shuttle was about to approach the Marauder, suddenly, a red scanning beam swept across it.

"Warning! Unauthorized combat aircraft detected!" the Marauder's AI issued an alert. "Repeat, unauthorized combat aircraft detected!"

"Oh no, we've been discovered!" Hong's expression changed drastically.

"Full speed ahead!" Rowan gritted his teeth and pushed the engine power to its maximum.

The shuttle transformed into a streak of light, hurtling straight towards the Marauder. The surrounding pirate fighters reacted immediately, opening fire. Dense beams of energy shot in from all directions.

Rowan frantically maneuvered the shuttle, performing one difficult evasive maneuver after another. The shuttle weaved through the energy beams, narrowly avoiding all attacks.

"One kilometer from the target!"

"Five hundred meters!"

"Three hundred meters!"

The Marauder's close-in weapon systems opened fire, creating an impenetrable network of fire.

"Charge!" Rowan roared, transferring all his energy to the shield.

The shuttle charged forward despite the heavy fire. Its shield was on the verge of breaking under the continuous attacks, but it ultimately held on.

boom!
The shuttle crashed into the hull of the Marauder, the powerful impact deforming the entire vessel. However, the three crew members were prepared and activated their protective gear the instant of impact, escaping injury.

"We did it!" Thor exclaimed excitedly.

"Not yet," Rowan said, looking at the pirates gathering outside. "Now comes the real test. Quick, get inside the ship!"

The three men burst through the shuttle's hatch and into the Marauder. Behind them, countless pirates were closing in.

A thrilling infiltration operation has only just begun.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield outside, the Virtual Universe Company's fleet was still struggling to hold on. Two more capital ships were sunk, and the losses were mounting.

Morris watched with growing numbers of his own ships growing ever smaller, and his heart pounded with anxiety.

"Rowan and his team must succeed," he prayed silently. "They are our last hope."

The Marauder's interior corridors were dark and chaotic, the walls covered in rust and graffiti, and the air thick with the smells of engine oil and sweat. This pirate flagship was clearly a converted cargo ship; its cabins were haphazardly laid out, completely lacking the discipline of a proper warship.

As soon as Luo Wen and his two companions rushed into the ship, they heard a flurry of footsteps behind them.

"The intruders are just ahead! Go after them!"

"Catch them! Boss, one million star coins are up for grabs!"

Dozens of pirates, brandishing various weapons, chased after the three. These pirates wore tattered armor and carried energy guns and concussion knives. Although their equipment was uneven, their eyes were filled with ferocity.

"Split up!" Rowan decisively ordered, "Meet at the command center on the seventh floor!"

The three immediately split up. Rowan went left, Hong went right, and Thor charged straight ahead. The pirates hesitated for a moment, then also split into three groups to give chase.

Rowan sprinted down the narrow corridor, pursued by a dozen pirates. He suddenly stopped, turned, and slashed with his sword.

Silver blades of wind whistled through the corridor, slicing the first three pirates in half at the waist before they could dodge. The pirates behind them were shocked and hastily slowed down, raising their guns to fire.

Energy beams danced in the corridor as Rowan nimbly ran along the walls, easily dodging the attacks. Suddenly, he leaped, using the walls for leverage, and flew over the pirates' heads.

In mid-air, Rowan swung his sword backhand, knocking down two more pirates. After landing, he continued his frantic run without looking back.

"Damn it, what kind of monster is this!" the pirates cried out in terror.

Rowan walked down the corridor and soon came to a fork in the road. He glanced at the sign on the wall—"Fifth Floor, Warehouse Area." "Two more floors to go," Rowan calculated the distance in his mind.

Just then, the hatch at the front suddenly opened, and more than twenty pirates rushed out. They had clearly received an alarm and were waiting there.

"Ha, got you!" the pirate captain sneered. "Kid, you can't escape."

"Who said I was going to run away?" Rowan stopped and gripped his silver longsword tightly.

The pirates swarmed forward. Rowan took a deep breath, and the Storm Laws surged throughout his body.

"Storm Domain - Gale Killing Array!"

Countless wind blades crisscrossed in the narrow space, creating a terrifying meat grinder. The pirates were horrified to discover that no matter how they dodged, they would be struck by the wind blades.

In just ten seconds, all twenty-odd pirates fell down, leaving the corridor in a mess.

Rowan sheathed his sword and continued forward. His face was expressionless, but his eyes shone with determination—he had to find One-Eyed Jack as soon as possible and end this battle.

On the other hand, Hong encountered even greater trouble.

The route he chose led to the ship's engine room, where even more pirates were stationed. As Hong turned a corner, he was met with a "wall of men"—at least fifty pirates crammed into the corridor, densely packed together.

"Just one person?" The pirates were stunned for a moment, then burst into laughter. "Brothers, this fool has delivered himself to our doorstep!"

"Idiot?" Hong cracked his neck, and golden power of law began to emerge from his body. "Then I'll show you what an idiot can do."

“Fire!”

Dozens of energy guns fired simultaneously, dense beams of energy covering the entire corridor. But all the attacks that struck Hong's body were deflected by his golden armor, leaving not a trace.

"How is this possible?" The pirates stared wide-eyed.

"My turn," Hong roared, charging into the pirate horde.

His body was like a heavy tank; wherever he went, pirates were sent flying, crashing against walls with the sound of bones breaking. Each of Hong's punches carried immense force, leaving pirates either severely injured or killed on the spot.

"Monster! This is a monster!"

The pirates finally panicked and began to scatter and flee. But the corridor was too narrow, and they huddled together, becoming easy targets.

Hong swept through the enemy lines as if they were nothing. In less than three minutes, all fifty-odd pirates were rendered incapable of fighting, and the corridor was filled with groans of agony.

“Defense is the best offense,” Hong said, cracking his fist as he continued upstairs.

The situation is completely different for Thor.

He chose the most direct route—a direct line to the bridge. But this also led to the strongest resistance.

"Halt!" A burly man, two and a half meters tall, blocked Thor's path. The man's muscles were bulging all over his body, he held a giant warhammer in his right hand, and his left arm had been modified into a mechanical arm, flashing a dangerous red light.

"I am Iron Hammer Buck, captain of the third squad of the Blood Skull Pirate Crew," the burly man grinned, revealing a mouthful of gold teeth. "Kid, you're out of luck running into me."

"Is that so?" Thor remained unfazed, purple lightning crackling on his hands. "I think you're the one who's had bad luck."

"Arrogant!" Buck roared, swinging his hammer down.

The massive warhammer, accompanied by a whooshing sound, hurtled towards Thor's head. Thor dodged it with a quick movement. The warhammer crashed to the ground, creating a large crater in the metal floor.

“Not bad speed,” Buck sneered, “but how many times can you dodge?”

He swung his hammer repeatedly, each blow powerful and heavy. Thor dodged constantly, while searching for an opportunity to counterattack.

"Purple Heaven Divine Thunder!"

Thor seized an opening, clasped his hands together, and unleashed a thick bolt of purple lightning towards Buck.

But Buck reacted unexpectedly quickly. He raised his mechanical arm, and an energy shield unfolded on it, blocking the lightning.

"Haha, I spent a fortune modifying this mechanical arm; it's specifically designed to defend against energy attacks," Buck said smugly. "Your lightning is useless against me!"

“That’s not necessarily true,” Thor said, a glint of light flashing in his eyes.

He suddenly unleashed the full power of his lightning laws, countless purple bolts of lightning swirling like snakes, attacking Buck from all directions. Buck's shield, though powerful, could not defend against all attacks.

Several bolts of lightning bypassed the shield and struck Buck's body. Although his muscles were highly resistant, the lightning still paralyzed him and slowed his movements.

“Now!”

Thor instantly rushed in front of Buck and placed his hands on his chest.

"Purple Cloud Piercing Through—Zero Distance!"

Terrifying lightning surged directly into Buck's body, destroying his organs from the inside. Buck's eyes widened, as if he wanted to say something, but only blood came out of his mouth.

boom!
Buck's massive body crashed to the ground with a loud thud.

"The captain is dead! Run!"

The pirates who had been watching were terrified and scattered in all directions. Thor ignored them and continued toward the bridge.

Fifteen minutes later, the three met on the seventh floor.

"How many enemies did you take care of?" Rowan asked.

“About fifty,” Hong said.

“I have over seventy here,” Thor added.

"Including mine, we've taken down at least 150 pirates," Rowan analyzed. "But there are at least a thousand men on board, and we're too obviously exposed. We have to speed things up."

"Where is the command center?" Hong asked.

Rowan glanced at the ship layout diagram on the wall and pointed in one direction: "Over there, about 300 meters."

The three continued down the corridor, this time without encountering a large-scale attack. Clearly, the pirates now knew the strength of these three intruders and dared not throw their lives away.

Soon, the three arrived at a heavy metal door. A huge skull symbol was engraved on the door, and four pirate guards in heavy armor stood beside it.

"The One-Eyed Dragon's personal guard," Thor whispered, "possessing strength of at least the fifth rank of the Stellar level."

"Let's attack together and finish this quickly," Rowan said.

The three attacked simultaneously. Rowan's sword, Hong's fist, and Thor's lightning—three forces slammed into the four guards at once.

The guards reacted quickly and immediately deployed their defenses. However, the three were too well-coordinated, and their attacks came from different angles, making them impossible to defend against.

In just three seconds, all four guards fell.

"Break down the door!"

Hong punched the metal door, the terrifying force sending the heavy door flying.

Behind the door was a spacious command center. At its center was a massive holographic star map displaying the real-time situation of the battlefield outside. Dozens of control panels surrounded it, where pirate officers were busily directing the battle.

At the highest point of the command platform sat a one-eyed strongman—Jack the One-Eyed.
