Chapter 426 Space Warfare
Surprisingly, these pirate ships were extremely maneuverable, and they skillfully evaded most of the attacks. Moreover, their tactics were cunning, specifically exploiting the Starship's blind spots to launch attacks.

“These pirates are exceptionally skilled,” Hong observed the battle. “They know the structure of the Starship inside and out, and they know where the weak points are.”

“And their equipment is very advanced,” Thor added. “Those energy weapons are no less powerful than those of the regular army.”

Just then, several pirate ships suddenly changed their attack method. They stopped their ranged attacks and instead quickly approached the Star River, preparing to board it.

"This is bad, they're trying to force their way onto the ship," Silvermoon immediately realized the danger. "Once they get inside, things will get very complicated."

“Then we can’t just sit here and wait to die,” Rowan stood up. “It’s time to show the strength of Earthlings.”

“That’s right, let’s show these pirates what we’re made of,” Thor said, eager to try.

“With the three brothers working together, these pirates are no match for us,” Hong said, rubbing his hands together in anticipation.

The three quickly reached the spaceship's docking bay, preparing to repel the pirates attempting to board. Through the monitoring system, they could see several pirate boats forcibly docking with the Starship.

"They're using a powerful cutter and are breaking down the hatch," the spacecraft's security officer reported. "They're expected to be able to board the spacecraft in three minutes."

“Three minutes is enough,” Rowan said calmly. “We’ll wait for them in the docking bay.”

Soon, the hatch was breached, and a dozen fully armed pirates rushed in. These pirates were well-equipped, each wearing advanced combat uniforms and carrying high-energy weapons.

But they clearly did not expect to encounter such strong resistance.

"Blades of the Storm!" Rowan made the first move, sending countless wind blades flying towards the pirates.

"Thunder Web," Thor followed, unleashing an electric grid that covered the entire cabin.

"Diamond Barrier," Hong built a solid defense for the three of them.

The three worked together seamlessly, combining offense and defense, and instantly gained an absolute advantage. Although the pirates were well-equipped, they had no chance against the combined attack of three world lord-level powerhouses.

In less than two minutes, the first wave of pirates who boarded the ship were all wiped out.

"Reporting to the commander, the first squad has lost contact," came the urgent report from the pirate ship.

"What?" Bloodblade Shark exclaimed in shock. "What did they encounter?"

“I don’t know, they lost signal as soon as they boarded the ship,” the subordinate replied.

“Send the second squad over,” Bloodblade Shark said, skeptical. “I refuse to believe that a transport ship could have any formidable opponents.”

But the second squad met the same fate as the first; they were wiped out as soon as they boarded the ship. This made Bloodblade Shark realize that there were unusual passengers on this seemingly ordinary transport ship.

“Interesting, looks like we’ve met some tough opponents,” Bloodblade Shark sneered. “Then I’ll personally deal with these mysterious passengers.”

With that, Bloodblade Shark personally piloted his personal warship towards the Star River. This warship had clearly undergone special modifications, boasting not only extreme speed but also formidable firepower.

"The enemy leader has personally come," Silvermoon observed Bloodblade Shark's warship through the monitoring system. "This person is likely quite powerful; everyone must be careful."

“Perfect, let’s meet this Bloodblade Shark,” Rowan said, his fighting spirit high. “Let’s see what he’s got the ability to intercept Virtual Universe Corporation’s spaceship.”

Bloodblade Shark's private warship approached the Star River at an astonishing speed, but strangely, he did not immediately board the ship. Instead, he circled around it, as if observing something.

"What is he waiting for?" Hong asked, somewhat puzzled. "Logically, the pirates should have launched an attack immediately."

“Perhaps he’s assessing our strength,” Thor analyzed. “After all, we easily took out both of his squads.”

Just then, Bloodblade Shark's voice came through the public channel again, but this time the tone was completely different, less rough and more sinister.

“Very good, very good. I didn’t expect to encounter such an interesting opponent here,” Bloodblade Shark’s voice carried a sinister laugh. “Especially you, Rowan, the successor of the Storm King.”

Upon hearing this, the three brothers were stunned. How could an ordinary pirate know Rowan's identity? Let alone such confidential information as the Storm King's legacy.

"How did he know my identity?" Rowan frowned. "This Bloodblade Shark is no ordinary pirate."

“It seems this wasn’t a coincidence,” Silvermoon’s expression turned grave. “Someone deliberately orchestrated this attack.”

Bloodblade Shark continued, "Rowan, your feat of defeating the Shadow Lord is truly admirable. However, do you think destroying a few strongholds can stop the Master's resurrection? You're too naive."

"Master?" Rowan's heart sank. "You're a servant of darkness?"

“Hahaha, you guessed right,” Bloodblade Shark laughed maniacally. “I am my master’s loyal servant, dedicated to eliminating those who hinder his great cause. A threat like you must be dealt with before reaching the rendezvous point.”

This news shocked everyone. It turned out that the attack was not a coincidence at all, but a meticulously planned operation by the Dark Servants. They not only knew about the Virtual Universe Corporation's operational plans, but also deployed a preemptive strike.

“The intelligence has been leaked,” Silvermoon immediately realized the gravity of the situation. “The Dark Servants have infiltrated far deeper than we imagined.”

“This is not the time to discuss this,” Rowan said calmly. “The primary task is to address the immediate threat.”

Bloodblade Shark's warship suddenly stopped circling and began releasing intense black energy. The entire warship was shrouded in darkness, exuding an unsettling aura.

"Feel the power of darkness," Bloodblade Shark's voice deepened and became authoritative. "This is a new power bestowed upon me by my master, enough to destroy all light."

As the dark energy spread, the surrounding Starships began to exhibit abnormalities. Black patterns began to appear on the once-solid metal hulls, as if they were being corroded by some force.

"What is this?" the captain of the Star River exclaimed over the internal communication system. "Our ship's structure is being destroyed by an unknown energy."

“It’s the Law of Corruption,” Rowan immediately recognized the nature of this energy. “The servants of the Lord of Darkness all possess this power, capable of corrupting all matter and energy.”

The situation is worse than anticipated. If the Corrosion Law is allowed to continue spreading, the entire Starship could be destroyed. And in outer space, losing a spaceship makes survival difficult even for powerful martial artists.

“We must retaliate immediately,” Rowan decided. “We cannot allow him to continue releasing his corrosive energy.”

“But we’re inside the ship, so we can’t directly attack the enemy outside,” Hong pointed out a practical problem. “Then let’s go out and fight,” Thor said without hesitation. “Fighting in space is difficult, but not impossible.”

“It’s too dangerous,” Silvermoon said worriedly. “In the unprotected open space, if we were hit by an enemy attack, the consequences would be unimaginable.”

“But if we don’t get out, we’ll just be waiting to die,” Rowan said firmly. “Besides, the three of us brothers working together might not necessarily lose to him.”

After a brief discussion, the three decided to risk venturing into outer space to confront Bloodblade Shark head-on. It was an extremely dangerous decision, but also the only option.

The captain of the Starship provided them with state-of-the-art space combat equipment, including special armor capable of providing short-term life support in space.

"This equipment can only support a maximum of two hours of space combat," the captain explained to them. "You must resolve the battle within that time."

“Two hours is enough,” Rowan nodded in understanding. “We will end the battle as soon as possible.”

After donning their gear, the three arrived at the Starship's emergency exit. Through the hatch's observation window, they could see that Bloodblade Shark's warship was continuously releasing dark energy, and the corrosive area was expanding rapidly.

“Remember, our perception is greatly limited in outer space,” Rowan reminded his two brothers. “We must always be vigilant and avoid being ambushed by the enemy.”

“Understood,” Thor and Hong replied in unison.

The moment the hatch opened, the three were propelled from the spaceship by powerful thrusters and entered the dark expanse of space. Here, apart from the distant starlight, there was almost no other light source, and visibility was extremely limited.

However, as powerful beings at the realm lord level, they quickly adapted to this environment. Mental detection replaced vision, becoming their primary means of perceiving their surroundings.

“Watch out, the enemy is moving,” Rowan sensed Bloodblade Shark’s warship repositioning. “He’s trying to take advantage of the space environment.”

As expected, Bloodblade Shark made full use of the warship's maneuverability, circling the three of them at high speed while unleashing various attacks.

"Shadow Arrow Rain," countless black energy arrows shot out from the warship, densely covering the entire area.

The three immediately split up, using their respective skills to dodge and defend.

"Storm Barrier," Rowan unleashed a swirling storm, deflecting most of the shadow arrows.

"Lightning Shield," Thor used lightning to form a protective shield, striking the approaching arrows.

"Diamond Body Protection," Hong's body surface was covered with a layer of metallic luster, and he withstood some attacks that he could not avoid.

But Bloodblade Shark's attacks went far beyond that. After Shadow Arrow Rain, he unleashed even more terrifying skills.

"The Domain of Corrosion," centered on Bloodblade Shark's warship, dark energy began to spread widely, distorting even the universe itself wherever it passed.

"This is a domain-level attack," Rowan said, shocked by the power. "His strength far surpasses that of ordinary dark servants."

Indeed, Bloodblade Shark's displayed strength was approaching the level of a King-level Immortal. Under the influence of the Corruption Domain, the three's movement speed noticeably decreased, and their internal energy was gradually being depleted.

“We can’t just sit here and take the hits,” Thor suggested. “We must take the initiative.”

“I agree,” Hong Zan said. “If this continues, we’ll be slowly worn down by his domain.”

The three quickly adjusted their tactics, shifting from dispersed operations to a concentrated assault. They aimed to deliver a fatal blow to Bloodblade Shark when his defenses were at their weakest.

"Three Elements Combination Array!" Luo Wen shouted, activating the strongest combined skill developed by the three brothers.

Instantly, the three's auras began to merge, forming an even more powerful whole. This was the tacit understanding they had developed from training together since childhood, allowing their strength to be perfectly combined.

"Wind, Thunder, and Metal as one," as the incantation was recited, the three different laws began to intertwine and merge.

The wildness of the storm, the domineering power of the lightning, and the resilience of metal—three distinct forces—formed a colossal attack in the air. This attack combined the advantages of all three laws, its power far exceeding the sum of their individual strengths.

Bloodblade Shark clearly hadn't anticipated that the three of them possessed such a powerful attack. Faced with such a formidable combined assault, he had no choice but to halt the release of his Corrosive Domain and focus entirely on defense.

"Shadow Barrier," Bloodblade Shark constructed multiple layers of dark defense around the warship.

But the combined power of the three attacks exceeded his expectations. The massive attack easily tore through his defenses and slammed directly into the warship.

"Boom!" A violent explosion silently spread through space, and Bloodblade Shark's warship was blasted through a huge hole.

"You succeeded?" Hong was somewhat incredulous. "You defeated him so easily?"

But Rowan sensed something was amiss. Given the strength Bloodblade Shark had just displayed, he shouldn't have been defeated so easily. Moreover, the aura emanating from the wreckage suggested that something was still active.

“Be careful, he’s not dead yet,” Rowan warned.

As soon as he finished speaking, an even more intense surge of dark energy erupted from the wreckage of the warship. A colossal figure slowly rose from the ruins—it was Bloodblade Shark, but he had completely changed his appearance.

Bloodblade Shark, who was originally in human form, has now transformed into a dark giant standing twenty meters tall. His body is entirely composed of dark energy, his eyes burn with scarlet flames, and he exudes a suffocating aura.

“Hahaha, thank you for helping me destroy this cumbersome warship,” Bloodblade Shark’s voice deepened. “Now I can unleash my true power.”

"What is this?" Thor stared in shock at the transformed Bloodblade Shark. "How did he suddenly become so strong?"

"It must be some kind of secret technique," Rowan analyzed, "gaining a short-term power boost by sacrificing the life force of the warship and some of his men."

Indeed, Bloodblade Shark's power surged after his transformation, truly reaching the level of a King-level immortal. In the favorable environment of outer space, his threat level increased several times over.

"Dark Meteor," Bloodblade Shark waved his hands, and countless "meteors" condensed from dark energy flew towards the three of them.

These meteors travel at extremely high speeds and possess strong corrosive properties. Even a minor scratch can cause the wound to spread rapidly, posing a significant danger.
