Chapter 346 The final struggle
"Senior, I found it!" Rowan excitedly retrieved the hidden storage device. "Zack's fatal evidence!"

Emperor Yan took the device and quickly browsed its contents. When he saw the list of founders of the Starry Sky Trading Group, a look of shock appeared on his face.

"These names... these forces..." Emperor Yan murmured to himself, "So that's how it is! So that's how it is!"

"Senior, what should we do now?" Rowan asked.

Emperor Yan glanced at the unconscious woman and said, "Now that Sak knows our identities, there's no point in continuing to hide. It's time to lay our cards on the table."

What do you mean?

"Go find Lei Ming immediately and hand over this evidence to him," Emperor Yan said firmly. "With this evidence, the arena's higher-ups will be able to thoroughly investigate Sak."

Rowan nodded: "Shall we leave now?"

“Let’s leave now,” Emperor Yan said. “But before that, we need to deal with this problem.” He pointed to the unconscious woman.

Emperor Yan used his spiritual power to search the woman's memories and discovered that she was indeed one of Sak's people, and Sak had already begun to suspect their true identities. The good news, however, was that Sak was not yet completely certain that Emperor Yan was the "dead" elder.

"She'll forget what happened when she wakes up," Emperor Yan said after finishing his work. "But we don't have much time left; Sak will soon find out she's lost contact."

The two quickly left Red Maple Apartments and headed to Lei Ming's office. This time, they would no longer hide, but confront Sack's conspiracy head-on.

On the way, Luo Wen couldn't help but ask, "Senior, do you think Elder Lei Ming will believe us?"

Emperor Yan thought for a moment: "Yes, I will. Lei Ming is an upright man, and we have solid evidence. More importantly, I am prepared to reveal my true identity to him."

"Over there in Nasak"

“Sak already knows we’re investigating him. Now it’s time to let him know who he’s up against.” A cold glint flashed in the Emperor Yan’s eyes.

Lei Ming's office was located on the 28th floor of the Arena headquarters. The spacious and bright space was filled with various precious weapons and souvenirs. The setting sun streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows, casting golden shadows on the deep red carpet. At this moment, Lei Ming sat behind his desk, his brows furrowed as he looked at the Flame Emperor before him.

"Emperor Yan, are you really sure you want to do this?" Lei Ming's voice was filled with worry. "Once you reveal your identity, there will be no turning back."

Emperor Yan sat opposite Lei Ming. Although he was still dressed in simple merchant's attire, the aura of majesty emanating from him was now impossible to conceal. His gaze was firm and sharp, as if he could see through all hypocrisy and deception.

“Thunder, things have come to this point, I have no other choice.” Emperor Yan’s voice was deep and powerful. “Sak has discovered our operation; continuing to hide will only give him more time to destroy evidence.”

Rowan stood to the side, clutching the storage device containing crucial evidence tightly in his hand. His face was somewhat pale, clearly still shaken by what had just happened, but his eyes burned with unwavering determination.

"Elder Lei Ming, this evidence is sufficient to prove Elder Sak's betrayal." Rowan placed the storage device on his desk. "The list of founders of the Starry Sky Trading Group, the records of fund flows—these are irrefutable proof."

Lei Ming took the device and plugged it into the holographic projector on his desk. Soon, detailed charts and graphs appeared in the air. When he saw the list of founders, his face instantly turned ashen.

"Bruce Hamilton of the Galactic Pirate Alliance, Victor Stone of the Void Hunters, Arya Shadow of the Blood Moon Mercenaries," Thunder read out each name, his voice growing increasingly heavy, "these are our mortal enemies!"

"And the timing is perfect." Emperor Yan pointed to another document, "The Starry Sky Trading Group was established a month before I went to Blue Crystal Star for my mission. This is definitely not a coincidence."

Lei Ming continued reviewing the data. When he saw the record of funds flowing to the Blood Raven Pirates, his fists clenched, veins bulging: "Damn it! That traitor, Sack!"

"More importantly, these forces have suffered heavy losses in the past few years due to the actions I led." Emperor Yan stood up and paced around his office. "Now it seems that Sak had already begun secretly contacting these forces, plotting revenge against me."

Rowan added, "Judging from the flow of funds, this revenge alliance wasn't just after the Flame Emperor; they had much greater ambitions. Sak used these funds to build his own network of influence within the arena."

Lei Ming took a deep breath, struggling to control his anger: "Emperor Yan, this evidence is indeed very convincing, but to completely bring down Sak, we need support from higher levels."

"What do you mean?" Emperor Yan stopped in his tracks.

“Master Martial God,” Lei Ming’s tone turned serious, “only Master Martial God has the authority to directly punish an elder. Moreover, this matter concerns the safety of the entire arena, and the highest leadership must be informed.”

Emperor Yan pondered for a moment: "Alright, then let's go see Master Martial God now. But Lei Ming, you need to be mentally prepared; Sak will definitely not sit idly by and wait to die."

“I understand,” Lei Ming stood up, “but justice must be served!”

Just then, there was a sudden knock on the office door. Three short, forceful knocks sounded particularly jarring in the silent space.

“Come in,” Lei Ming said.

The door was pushed open, and a communications officer in a gray uniform walked in, his face tense: "Elder Lei Ming, Master Wu Shen requests your immediate presence in the highest conference room; there is an emergency that needs to be addressed."

Lei Ming and Yan Di exchanged a glance, both seeing wariness in each other's eyes.

"What emergency?" Lei Ming asked.

“I’m not entirely clear on the details, but Elder Sak is there too,” the messenger replied. “Master Martial God said you should bring any relevant materials.”

Emperor Yan's gaze turned icy: "It seems Sak beat me to it."

"Then what do we do?" Rowan asked, somewhat worried.

Lei Ming put away the evidence on the table and said firmly, "Let's go to the conference room. What's coming will come; running away won't solve anything."

The highest conference room, located on the top floor of the arena headquarters, is a vast, circular space. The walls are adorned with reliefs depicting heroes from the history of the Giant Axe Arena. At the center is a huge round table, capable of accommodating dozens of people. At this moment, only a handful of people are present, yet the atmosphere is unusually tense.

The Martial God Master sat in the main seat. This supreme leader of the Giant Axe Arena appeared to be in his sixties, yet his posture remained upright, his eyes as deep as the starry sky, and he exuded an awe-inspiring majesty. To his right sat Sak, and to his left were two other elders. Sak appeared to be in his forties, with a robust build and dignified appearance. If one did not know his true nature, it would be hard to believe that such a seemingly upright man could be a traitor. At this moment, he sat upright, his face bearing a serious expression, as if he were truly considering the interests of the arena.

"Lei Ming, you've arrived." The Martial God Teacher's voice was deep and authoritative. "Sak just reported a very serious matter to me."

Lei Ming walked to his position, with Yan Di and Luo Wen standing behind him. When Sak saw Yan Di, a complex emotion flashed in his eyes, but he quickly regained his composure.

"What is it?" Lei Ming asked knowingly.

Sak stood up and said in a grief-stricken tone, "Elder Lei Ming, I've discovered someone impersonating Elder Yan Di and attempting to infiltrate our arena!"

The meeting room fell silent at these words. The other two elders looked at Emperor Yan in shock, while the Martial God Teacher's gaze sharpened.

"What evidence do you have?" Lei Ming asked calmly.

Sak excitedly pointed at Emperor Yan: "It's this man! He claims to be Yan Huang, a business consultant, but my investigation revealed that he not only possesses martial arts skills but also has an encyclopedic knowledge of the internal affairs of our arena. Even more suspiciously, he's been secretly investigating my work—clearly, he has ulterior motives!"

Upon hearing this, Emperor Yan sneered, "Sak, are you saying I'm impersonating Emperor Yan?"

“Isn’t that so?” Sak said righteously and sternly, “Elder Yan Emperor has perished; that is an indisputable fact. And yet you attempt to impersonate him—this is nothing short of blasphemy against the dead!”

The Martial God Teacher silently observed everyone present, his gaze finally settling on Emperor Yan: "Do you have anything to say?"

Emperor Yan took a deep breath and then slowly removed the disguise mask from his face. As the mask fell away, his true face was revealed—a resolute and majestic face, the true face of Emperor Yan, the elder of the Giant Axe Arena!

"Because I am Emperor Yan." Emperor Yan's voice resounded throughout the conference room like thunder.

A gasp of surprise erupted in the conference room. Everyone except Lei Ming and Luo Wen was stunned by this sudden truth. Sack's face turned pale instantly, but he quickly regained his composure.

"Impossible!" Sak exclaimed. "Emperor Yan is dead! You must have used some kind of special disguise technique!"

The Martial God Teacher stood up, walked to Emperor Yan, and carefully observed his face. As an immortal-level powerhouse, the Martial God Teacher had the ability to see through any disguise.

"It is indeed Emperor Yan." The Martial God Teacher's voice was filled with shock. "But, didn't you already perish?"

Emperor Yan bowed deeply to his Martial God teacher: "Teacher, I have failed your expectations. The events of this period are a long story."

Next, Emperor Yan recounted in detail his experiences on Blue Crystal Star, from being attacked to faking his death and escaping, to being kidnapped by the Blood Raven Pirates, and finally being rescued by Lei Ming. His narration was clear, organized, and rich in detail, and did not seem like a fabricated story at all.

"So you haven't contacted us because you suspect there's a traitor within our ranks?" Master Martial asked.

“That’s exactly right.” Emperor Yan nodded. “Only an insider could predict my itinerary so accurately and reveal my identity.”

Sak then interjected, "Martial God Teacher, even if he really is the Flame Emperor, his accusations are completely baseless! I, Sak, have devoted myself to the arena; how could I possibly betray the organization!"

"Is that so?" Emperor Yan looked coldly at Sak. "Then please explain what the Starry Sky Trading Group is?"

Sack's pupils contracted slightly, but quickly returned to normal: "I don't know what you're talking about."

Lei Ming stood up at this moment: "Teacher Martial God, we have conclusive evidence."

He connected the storage device to the holographic projection system in the conference room, and soon, detailed information appeared in the air. When the list of founders appeared, the entire conference room fell silent.

“Sak Redmond,” the Martial God teacher read Sak’s name. “That is indeed your full name.”

Sack's face grew even paler, but he still tried to argue: "This must be a forgery! I've never been involved with any Star Trading Group!"

“And what about these fund transfer records?” Rowan pointed to another document. “A week before the attack on Senior Emperor Yan, the Starry Sky Trading Group transferred 50 million Star Coins to the Blood Raven Pirate Crew. This is an official bank record; it couldn’t be forged.”

Sack began to panic: "I...I don't know, maybe someone stole my identity."

Emperor Yan sneered, "Sak, how long are you going to keep making excuses? These forces are all our enemies. Is it merely a coincidence that they've joined forces with you to fight me?"

The Martial God Master carefully examined all the evidence, his expression growing increasingly serious. As the supreme leader of the Giant Axe Arena, he was intimately familiar with the situation of these opposing forces.

"The Galactic Pirate Alliance, the Void Hunter Group, the Blood Moon Mercenary Group," the Martial God Teacher read out the names one by one. "These are all forces that suffered heavy losses because of the Flame Emperor's actions. Sack, how do you explain appearing in the same investment project as them?"

Sack knew there was no point in arguing any further, and his face darkened. "Even if I have business dealings with them, what does that prove? Business cooperation is normal!"

"Normal?" Emperor Yan's voice was filled with anger. "You cooperate with our enemies and even fund the pirates who attacked me. You call that normal?"

“What evidence do you have that I knew they were going to attack you?” Sack was still making a last-ditch effort.

Luo Wen then produced another document: "Elder Sack, this is the meeting minutes of the Starry Sky Trading Group. This record explicitly mentions the plan to 'eliminate Emperor Yan.' Furthermore, the date of this record is the day after your last meeting with Senior Emperor Yan."

Upon hearing this, Sack's expression completely changed. He hadn't expected Rowan to be able to find such detailed evidence.

The Martial God Teacher stood up, radiating a powerful aura: "Sak, do you have anything else to say?"

Faced with overwhelming evidence, Sack knew he could no longer deny it. A ferocious expression appeared on his face, and his mask of hypocrisy was completely torn off.

"Hahaha!" Sak suddenly burst into laughter. "That's right! It was me! I was the one who rallied those forces to fight against Emperor Yan!"
