Chapter 28: Lighting the Dragon Lantern
Chapter 28: Lighting the Dragon Lantern
In the martial arts training ground, Su Daoshan performed the newly learned "Changhe Continuous Stance" over and over again.
He first took a step forward, threw a punch, then jumped up and kicked in the air with his legs.
With this sprint, he took a step forward to cover a distance of five meters without any running start, and when he jumped up, he jumped more than two meters high.
This gave Su Daoshan a feeling of flying as if he was free from gravity. As far as he knew, the person with the strongest jumping ability in the original world only had a vertical jump height of about 120 centimeters.
After using the move [Mighty Rivers], Su Daoshan did a 540-degree windmill in the air before even landing. When he landed, he supported the ground with one leg, rotated on his toes, and then changed his fists into palms and slapped down like a windmill.
【Sunset over the long river】
Apply... The air was swept into a swirling stream amid the dense applause.
Su Daoshan attacked with one move after another. As the inner qi mental method operated, Dantian continuously absorbed the spiritual power of heaven and earth like a whirlpool, transformed it into inner qi, and sent it into the meridians.
In a way, Dantian is like another heart. The only difference is that the heart pumps blood through the blood vessels, while Dantian pumps internal Qi through the meridians.
If blood is water, then internal Qi is fire. The two are one bright and one dark. Under normal circumstances, they are like two rivers with many tributaries, each running its own course in the body. For example, when practicing internal Qi in meditation, the internal Qi flowing in the meridians can have no intersection with Qi and blood.
But once a warrior begins to perform martial arts, when the bones, fascia, muscles and internal organs of the body are working at full capacity, the circulation of Qi and blood will accelerate and flow through the capillaries to all parts of the body, stimulating potential.
At this time, the warrior can use the internal Qi to impact the acupoints and make the two meet.
Internal Qi stimulates Qi and blood. The stronger and more abundant the Qi and blood are, the faster the warrior's metabolism will be, and the stronger the energy burst from muscles and organs will be.
By the time he reached the fourth move, Su Daoshan felt his energy and blood rising.
It's like pouring fuel on the fire. As the internal Qi moves, the Qi and blood in wherever it passes are completely stimulated, the heart beats like thunder, the breath is like a pillar, and adrenaline is secreted crazily!
Although there was no change on the surface of his body, Su Daoshan felt that his body was full of strength, as if something was swelling under his skin and was about to burst out. He couldn't help but want to rush, yell, and vent his anger with violence.
However, when he reached the twelfth move, Su Daoshan felt that his body's energy suddenly drained away, his feet went weak, and he staggered two steps before stopping.
Huh, Su Daoshan was breathing heavily and sweating all over.
This set of Changhe Lianba has a total of 36 moves. When I first started practicing, I could only do the 7th move. Now it is a great improvement. However, I am still far from completing 36 moves in one breath and entering the realm of the seventh level of external strength.
Su Daoshan didn't take a rest, but started reading the strange arts and observing himself.
"Just now, when the internal energy was flowing to the left belt meridian, the move happened to be from Pi Gua Quan to squatting and then sweeping kick. I didn't connect the moves in one breath, which caused the internal energy to be cut off. The next time I hit this point, the internal energy will flow at a different time, and the breathing will be delayed. I should be able to hold out for another move..."
Su Daoshan touched his lower abdomen.
The Dai Meridian in the waist and abdomen, like a belt, is the only horizontal meridian in the human body. It plays the role of contracting and connecting other meridians.
When a warrior practices martial arts, no matter which internal Qi technique he practices, he must first practice this meridian.
In Su Daoshan's view, this is just like the original world's plain city subway planning must have a loop line. Only by opening up the belt meridian first can the human body's meridians form a circulation.
Otherwise, the meridians would not be able to communicate with each other.
Of course, in addition to the horizontal interconnection of the belt meridian, there is also a large vertical circulation, which is the Ren and Du meridians. One of these two meridians runs from the Qugu point upward to the front of the body, along the lower abdomen and chest to the Chengjiang point under the lip. This is the Ren meridian. The other runs from the Qugu point backward, along the spine upward to the Yinjiao point. This is the Du meridian.
However, there are 24 acupoints in the Ren channel and 28 acupoints in the Du channel. It is not easy to open all of them and form a vertical circulation.
To reach that level, one needs to at least practice an internal Qi technique to an extraordinary level.
After a careful review, Su Daoshan confirmed the problem and tried again. Sure enough, this time, as he deliberately changed his breathing rhythm and the nodes of the inner energy, he successfully completed the twelfth move, and continued the long river until the thirteenth move.
"This is the effect of having the observation characteristics of a scholar and the ability to read the supernatural. When ordinary warriors encounter problems, it is difficult to know where their problems lie. But for me, it is as simple as if the answer is right in front of me. All I have to do is keep adjusting and correcting it."
Su Daoshan let out a long sigh.
However, just before Su Daoshan had time to rejoice over his further progress in martial arts, he suddenly became aware that after practicing these sets of long river combos today, he felt a slight warmth in several of his acupuncture points.
It seems that the inner Qi is about to break through.
Su Daoshan quickly sat down cross-legged and guided his internal energy.
Originally, the original body only cultivated the inner qi mental method [Haoran Zhengqi Jue] to a rough understanding. In this state, the inner qi's running route is very small. The general route is from Dantian, through Shimen to Guanyuan, then back to Chongjuque, from Juque back to Shenque, then turn to the left belt meridian, up to the left cloud gate to Tiantu, turn to the right cloud gate to the right belt meridian, return to Shenque, and finally collect the qi sea.
Generally speaking, it is a circle on the torso, passing through only a few acupoints.
Different acupoints are different points where qi and blood meet, and they have different functions. The more acupoints the internal qi stimulates, the stronger the warrior will be.
At this moment, Su Daoshan discovered that after the internal Qi reached Guanyuan, before it turned back and rushed up to Juque, it actually had a faint downward trend. The Zhongji point and Qugu point located below Guanyuan both showed movement. It was like two originally dry ponds suddenly had a trickle of water.
Su Daoshan could even clearly feel that the internal Qi between Guanyuan and Zhongji had gathered like the backwaters of a river, and was rapidly heating up.
This is exactly the sign that the inner Qi is about to break through!
At that moment, Su Daoshan did not hesitate, circulated his internal energy, and rushed directly to the Zhongji acupoint. Boom!
Although there was no sound, at this moment, Su Daoshan seemed to hear a loud noise in his mind. The internal energy hit the intermediate acupoint fiercely, just like hitting a solid dam and being blocked back.
As the internal energy impacted, Su Daoshan felt a sudden pain in his lower abdomen. This pain, as if being stabbed by a steel thorn, made his lower abdominal muscles twitch suddenly, and he almost jumped up.
Su Daoshan had experienced a sudden blockage of air in his chest diaphragm before, and the pain was unbearable as long as he took a breath. The impact of internal energy now was ten or a hundred times stronger than that pain. He even suspected that his meridians were torn.
Su Daoshan did not dare to hesitate and tried his best to guide the internal energy to calm down, otherwise it would easily lead to going astray.
Especially the Dantian area in the lower abdomen, which must not be neglected. The Guanyuan point of the Ren Meridian is the gate of the Dantian. It means to seal and store the essence. If the Guanyuan is not broken, the evil will not enter. Above the Guanyuan is the Qihai. It is the place where the internal Qi gathers. Further up is the Shenque that connects the heaven and the earth.
These three acupuncture points are all important acupuncture points. Simply put, one is an important pass, one is a core storage place, and the other is the gateway connecting heaven and earth.
Neither can be lost.
However, although this impact was painful, Su Daoshan discovered through internal vision that his intermediate acupoint had shown signs of loosening after the previous impact.
The internal Qi that flowed into the acupuncture points has changed from a trickle to a gurgling stream.
What's there to hesitate about?
After calming the internal Qi, Su Daoshan practiced his skills, allowing the internal Qi to circulate through the Daimai, Yunmen, and Tiantu meridians, and then enter the Dantian Qi Sea, and then attack again from Guanyuan downwards.
boom!
This time, Su Daoshan felt that his blocked meridians were like a barrier lake that had been opened. The silt continued to collapse with the flow of water, and the water flow became larger and more violent. Moreover, once the flood accumulated upstream was released, it would become a mighty force.
In the blink of an eye, Zhongji acupoint was opened, followed by Qugu. As soon as Qugu was opened, Su Daoshan felt the air mass rushing back from Qugu to the Du channel, and in an instant it broke through Changqiang acupoint and Yaoshu acupoint along the spine, rushed to Yangguan, and then stopped, and began to turn back unsteadily!
After this turn, the internal Qi went along the left belt meridian to Yunmen, and then to the Zhongfu and Tianding acupoints, before going along the Tiantu and turning right back.
The Art of Righteousness, the state of mastery!
Su Daoshan was overjoyed.
Entering the realm of mastery of the Inner Qi Heart Method is a crucial step. It not only brings several important Qi and blood stimulating acupoints and a wider Zhoutian meridian, but also is the beginning of an important step of cultivation.
Light the dragon lantern!
If there is one most important bone in the human body, it is undoubtedly the spine.
The spine is also called the backbone, and because it is shaped like a dragon, it is also called the dragon bone!
Just like the barrel of a gun and the body of a bow. Whether a gun is famous or not, whether a bow is good or not, all depends on this. A good gun can sweep in all directions, a good bow can shoot through the air from a hundred steps away, and a warrior with a well-trained spine can be as powerful as a dragon!
But if you just think about it, you will know that the spine is not that easy to train.
The bones of the hands and feet can be moved and thrown around at will. Even if they are broken, they can be restored to their original state after being reconnected and nurtured for a hundred days. However, the spine is the most important pillar of the human body. Not to mention breaking, even if it is injured, it can turn a strong man into a disabled person in an instant!
Because of this, since ancient times, there has been only one way to cultivate the spine. That is to first turn yourself into a furnace, and then use the fire of qi and blood to temper the spine.
It is tempered section by section until the entire spine is tempered to the point where it is as hard as steel and yet soft as cotton, just like a tough long whip.
At that level, the warrior's body itself is a peerless weapon. Even without using internal energy, a casual strike, a kick, or even a casual shake of the body can release power as powerful as a dragon. The power is so powerful that anyone who touches it will be injured, and anyone who hits it will die!
This is lighting the dragon lantern!
A spine is a dragon lantern.
However, if you want to turn the human body into a furnace, it must be airtight. Otherwise, even if the internal Qi is strong and the Qi and blood are strong, it cannot be locked, let alone tempering the dragon bones.
The key lies in locking the acupoints - that is, blocking all the openings including the pores of the body, eyes, ears, mouth, nose, etc. that may cause the leakage of human essence.
And the key to locking the acupoints lies in the Po Men!
That is the anus!
Among all the orifices in the human body, the gate of soul is responsible for leakage. If an ordinary person is infected with dysentery, the essence and vitality will leak out from the gate of soul. In mild cases, the vitality will be seriously damaged, and in severe cases, the person will die. Therefore, the gate of soul is the biggest leakage point in the human body. The importance of locking this orifice is far greater than that of other orifices.
In the health training of ordinary people, there is a method of locking the acupoints by lifting the anus.
When the soul gate is tightly closed, even ordinary people can feel a tingling sensation rising up the spine little by little, gradually becoming hot. This is the reaction of lighting the dragon lantern. It's just that ordinary people can't last long. Although warriors have stronger control over their muscles, the leakage of essence and energy cannot be locked by lifting the anus.
To lock the soul gate, you need to open up the four acupoints: Zhongji, Qugu, Changqiang and Yaoshu.
Forming four dragons locking the pillars!
Su Daoshan circulated his inner Qi skills.
One circle, two circles... one week, two weeks...
After ninety-nine and eighty-one circles, a big cycle is completed, and the Qi and blood are already stimulated by the internal Qi, like surging magma.
He stood in the Hunyuan Posture with his feet level with his shoulders, knees slightly bent, hands neither clasped nor rounded, and took a deep breath. His whole body shook violently as if it had been electrocuted, and entered a state of sudden tightening.
Whether it is the nine orifices of the body or the pores, they are all closed with the help of internal Qi!
At this moment, the world turned into a lightless and silent chaos.
It seemed as if the only thing left in the entire universe was my own consciousness.
After a moment, a hot feeling with a hint of numbness spread up along the tail vertebrae, climbing up one section at a time.
