Chapter 32 The First Bear Against PUA

Guo Mi put on her fiercest look ever, but her heart was pounding!

This was the first time Caesar had been so close to the bear cub. At this distance, if the bear cub suddenly attacked, he could only protect one of them at most.

Thinking of this, her fear immediately hardened. No matter what, she had to at least keep Caesar away from the two bear cubs!
A fierce glint flashed in her eyes. She stood up, roared like a bear, and slammed her claws heavily on the ground with a dull thud!

Just a second before Guo Mi was about to "charge" at Caesar, Caesar suddenly took two steps back!
Guo Mi's murderous aura, which had been building up aggressively, came to an abrupt halt, like a goose caught in a chokehold. She stood there, neither rising nor falling, stunned.

Caesar was amused by her appearance, and his murderous intent towards the bear lessened somewhat.

Guo Mi, who had initially expected a fierce battle, was now unsure of Caesar's intentions. She stood there watching him for a while, but he didn't react. She awkwardly scratched at the snow under her feet with her paw.

Caesar watched helplessly as she shoveled the snow into a small pile behind her paws, and finally, unable to bear it any longer, he muttered:

"Send your two little brats to the side."

Guo Mi: "Huh?" She was clearly not in the mood to react.

Caesar chuckled coldly, his tone somewhat sarcastic:

"Aren't you afraid I'll bite those two little brats to death? Send them aside."

Guo Mi's temper flared instantly. What kind of tone was that? What kind of words were those?! Was she wrong to worry?!
This bear was just looking at the two bear cubs with murderous eyes, but now it's acting like she's inexplicably hostile towards him!

That pesky male bear!
Even though she was already seething with anger, Guo Mi couldn't let go of this opportunity to have the little bear sent further away.

She could only suppress her anger, and was just about to beckon the two little bears at her feet to come with her when she heard Caesar lazily say:
"and many more!"

Guo Mi's eyes twitched. She turned to look at Caesar, bared her teeth, and gave him a forced smile, squeezing out a few words through her clenched teeth:

"...What's wrong now?"

Caesar strode over, and Guo Mi was startled. She quickly retreated with the little bear and slapped Caesar with her paw!
Caesar showed no reaction to the claw strike, seemingly already used to it; he simply stood arrogantly in front of Guo Mi.

“You can’t follow those two brats. Tell them to find somewhere to hide.”

Guo Mi instantly bristled:
"Why?!"

Caesar looked at her with a gaze that said, "Don't try to hide it, I see right through you."
"You're going to take these two little brats and stay away from me. You're going to run away with them right away, right?"

"..."

Undeniably, he was right; Guo Mi did indeed have this idea.

Seeing a hint of guilt flash in the eyes of the round-faced bear in front of him, Caesar chuckled inwardly. He had guessed right after all!

So he became even more self-righteous, looking at Guo Mi with an expression that said, "I guessed right."

In Guo Mi's eyes, that expression looked like she had caught a morally bankrupt person littering on the street, which made her even angrier. But in the end, she had no choice but to look down at the two little bears and say softly:

"Salmon, take the fish bones and go somewhere farther away, okay?"

The two bear cubs looked at Caesar with fear in their eyes, then shrank behind Guo Mi, hugging her hind legs and burying their faces in her fluffy fur.

Caesar immediately disliked the two little cubs even more, and clicked his tongue impatiently, which scared the two little bears into hugging Guo Mi even tighter!

Guo Mi glared at him, annoyed.

The male bear suddenly felt aggrieved. He had already promised not to kill the two cubs, so why were they still glaring at him?!

As a result, Caesar's gaze toward the two cubs grew increasingly hostile, and Guo Mi, noticing his gaze, felt her own vigilance and anger multiply!
...This vicious cycle ended with Caesar being slashed by Gomi's claws again.

"Stay away from me."

Guo Mi's tone was not exactly pleasant at this point.

Don't think she didn't know what Caesar was thinking; she simply felt he was being very lenient by letting the two bear cubs go. That male bear really had no sense of boundaries.

He didn't even consider that he was so close and yet he looked at the bear cub like that. If it were any other mother bear, even if she couldn't beat him, she would still fight him to the death. Even if she couldn't kill him, she would definitely leave him badly injured.

"He'll behave himself once he's seriously injured and other male bears steal his food and he starves to death," Guo Mi muttered to herself.

She's been so tolerant of him, yet he still thinks he's given in!
Guo Mi's main principle is to avoid internal conflict and never let herself be harmed. She is the number one anti-PUA bear. If anything is wrong, it is Caesar's fault. She is absolutely not wrong!
Both bears, to some extent, strangely believed that the other bear was being far too demanding and that it was all his (or her) fault!
Caesar was "inexplicably" struck by Guo Mi's claw again, and his anger flared up. He looked at Guo Mi with a gloomy gaze, his four claws as firm as four pillars, showing no intention of moving an inch.

Guo Mi stood firmly in front of the two bear cubs, refusing to back down!
The two bears remained frozen in the snow, each waiting for the other to give in.

Of course, Caesar didn't know what he wanted Guo Mi to compromise on. If Guo Mi compromised again, he should give her the bear cub to fill his teeth.

...This is clearly impossible.

Perhaps stubbornness without purpose always comes and goes quickly. In this game of "being stubborn," Caesar finally gave in.

He lowered his head and walked slowly to the side as if nothing had happened, then slumped down on the ground. Perhaps feeling that wasn't enough, he lunged forward again, and the whole bear lay sprawled on the snow.

The silence speaks.

Guo Mi glanced at Caesar's eyes, which were darting around but not daring to look at her, and inwardly scoffed:
"Stupid bear."

However, she had only taken two steps forward with the two bear cubs when she saw Caesar sit up, supporting himself with his front paws, and staring intently in their direction.

Guo Mi paused, sighed softly, knowing that once or twice is acceptable, but a third time is not. She could only lower her head and use her nose to push the little bear's bottom forward.

"Go, find a place to hide."

"Guo Mi, aren't you coming with us?"

The salmon glanced warily at Caesar, who was staring intently at them, then looked at Guo Mi, its eyes filled with worry:

"That's a male bear! He's the most ferocious male bear around here. Mom used to make us avoid him whenever we smelled him, but now he's been following us everywhere..."

Fishbone clung tightly to Guo Mi's paws and whispered:
"Why don't we run? Even if we get caught, it's okay. At worst, I'll just get eaten. You guys run first..."

As he spoke, he couldn't help but cry:
"That's right, after I'm eaten, please don't forget me, waaaaaah..."

Guo Mi was both amused and exasperated, but she was quite surprised that the usually timid Yu Gu would say such a thing. Her eyes softened, and she gently comforted him:

"It's okay, it's okay. We've fought so many times before and nothing happened, so it'll be the same this time. Don't be afraid."

The salmon, its eyes moist from crying over the fish bones, stared at Guo Mi, stunned, as she listened to her words.

Deep down, she understood that it seemed to be true, just as Guo Mi had said. In her and Fishbone's mother's words, Caesar was a bear that even ordinary male bears would back down from, yet Guo Mi always had the courage to defy him.

Guo Mi, with a smile in her eyes, whispered her instructions:

"Salmon, take your bones and find a safe place to stay, okay?"

The salmon hesitated for a moment, its little head drooping, before finally whispering its agreement:
"it is good."

Caesar sat to one side watching Guo Mi interact with the two bear cubs. His eyes were filled with the gentle way Guo Mi spoke to the bears with her head bowed; the tenderness in her eyes was almost overflowing. It looked just like…

It's as if these two bear cubs really are her own children!
Caesar tried to look away several times, but in the end, he couldn't help but bring his gaze back to Guo Mi, finally muttering:
"It's not like it's your baby bear."

Until the two little cubs finally seemed to have mustered up their courage and left, looking back every few steps, Guo Mi turned back to look at him again.

Caesar then suppressed the strange feeling in his heart and walked towards Guo Mi.

Polar bears are indeed solitary animals, but Caesar and Slok are indeed brothers!
Hahaha, I don't know if everyone can understand what I mean by that.
