Chapter 21: Being Deceived
Now that the weather is starting to warm up, the nights are indeed not as unbearable as when Mi first arrived.

If we can think of a way, we can maintain our body temperature even when the bear isn't around.

She sat by the cave entrance, curling up to keep warm.

Her paws were freezing and aching as they touched the snow, so she had to lift her feet and use her thickly fur-covered legs to touch the snow, exposing her paw pads to the air.

The impatient, heavy grunting of the wild beasts inside the cave had stopped at some point.

Now this hole is like a toilet in a horror movie that makes noise during a power outage at night—ordinary yet eerie.

Guo Mi looked into the hole again and again, but despite her best efforts, she couldn't see anything and eventually gave up.

My body lost its balance and tilted uncontrollably to the side. Then, my upper body was suddenly enveloped by a thick layer of heat!
Guo Mi's eyes glazed over for a moment, and what came into view was white fur fluttering in the wind, glowing in the moonlight!

Two bear paws landed on her shoulders, and her body suddenly felt heavy. Only then did she belatedly realize that she had been hugged by the male bear!
The bear's body, chilled by the cold wind, was suddenly enveloped in warmth, and a steady stream of heat urged it to relax.

But this is not the warmth that redeems the bear's heart; it's a deadly trap!
Guo Mi was startled; being held in the arms of such a top predator was absolutely terrifying! Without thinking, she began to struggle!
Caesar held the round-faced bear tightly, not biting her directly, but absolutely not letting go!

Unable to break free, Guo Mi could only retreat, attempting to escape the male bear's grasp in this way!
However, the male bear was like a stubborn plaster, impossible to peel off; his mouth was so close to her neck that she dared not bite him easily.

Her body stiffened, and she slowly raised her head, meeting a pair of brown, beastly eyes. His tall body blocked the moonlight, casting a heavy shadow on her, plunging her into darkness.

The male bear, which had been trapped in the cave, was now standing in front of her!
Guo Mi finally realized why the male bear had only hugged her at first but hadn't attacked her.

Because if he attacks her, she might just start biting him on the spot!
With the cave binding him, he might not be able to win; there's a high probability he'll be forced back into the cave.

However, if you just hold her tightly like that, no bear can remain calm in the arms of an opponent who has such a large size and physical advantage. The first thing it will think of is to find a way to break free!

He did not attack first, but only bared his sharp teeth, took a step forward with his heavy bear paw, and pressed his strong aura against the bear on the ground, while a deep bear roar came out of his throat!

Under intense threat, the round-faced bear, who had been content to see the bear in front of him, suddenly sharpened its eyes!
After a powerful roar, it raised its paw and slapped at him!
