Chapter 165 The Adorably Clumsy Bear

Guo Mi originally intended to turn around and leave, but Caesar's actions were too furtive, and she couldn't suppress her curiosity and stopped.

After assessing her current position, Guo Mi figured Caesar wouldn't notice her and the bear's scent for a while. Remembering how Caesar used to spy on her, she felt at ease preparing to watch the spectacle.

A huge male bear circled the disguised robot, then suddenly raised its paw and slammed it down on the robot!
The creaking of the metal sheet, unable to bear the weight, traveled far and wide, reaching Guo Mi's ears.

The male bear over there had already started climbing up the robot, its large paws carefully stepping on the raised edges. It looked like it had taken quite a bit of effort to finally climb up!

Guo Mi watched as Caesar tentatively stepped on the top of the disguised robot. Perhaps feeling safe under his claws, he simply raised his front claws high and slammed them down hard!

"Bang, bang, bang--"

The heavy claw pads striking the top of the camouflaged robot sounded like a specially made tin drum being struck, the crisp sound echoing through the air.

Guo Mi was stunned by his strange behavior and didn't understand what he was doing. She only knew that if he kept knocking like that, something unpleasant would probably happen soon.

A feeling of schadenfreude immediately welled up inside me!
No sooner said than done, a loud splashing sound suddenly came from afar!

Upon closer inspection, the camouflaged robot, which had been held in place by the ice, suddenly broke free of its restraints, tilted violently to the side, and then sank downwards!

The polar bear standing on top of the robot naturally lost its balance, its paws slipped, and it tumbled off the top of the robot!
Another extremely loud thud!

The "mistaken male bear" fell onto the ice in an extremely unsightly position, head down and hind paws pointing upwards, with its rear end still sticking up when it landed completely!
The scene was so ridiculous that Guo Mi had to hold back her laughter for a long time before she could suppress it. At the same time, a faint sense of lingering fear also rose up.

It can only be said that Caesar was quite lucky; he didn't fall into the sea the instant the disguised camera robot sank through the gap.

Otherwise, if the disguised robots rise again and block the gap, Caesar will be completely trapped under the ice. If he doesn't find another gap to climb out in time, he will probably suffocate!

Although this male bear always caused her a lot of trouble, Guo Mi still hoped that he would live a good life.

The bear, who had fallen flat on its back, quickly got up, casually shook off the snow, and circled the robot again, soon finding a new breakthrough.

The thick claws reached into the crack that the camouflage robot had made when other polar bears had done it before and pried it off. In no time, a piece of the metal sheet was peeled off.

This mysterious visitor, deliberately crafted to blend seamlessly into its environment, was finally stripped of its disguise, revealing its interior, which was completely out of place with everything around it.

Caesar's large head peered through the opening.

Guo Mi twitched her lips, finally realizing that his series of strange behaviors were probably just to satisfy his curiosity.

Recalling the day she first saw the robot, when Caesar was indifferent to it, Guo Mi thought he wasn't interested.

I never imagined it was all a disguise!
Ultimately, polar bears are naturally playful, and Caesar was no exception, naturally possessing a great deal of curiosity.

So now, taking advantage of the fact that the other polar bears have already lost interest in the camouflage robot, he has arrived late.

The damaged camouflage photography robot has become a new toy for the male bear.

Caesar touched this and that with his claws, still trying to climb up again, but the disguised robot was no longer restrained by the ice floes, and because of Caesar's violent dismantling, it could not maintain its balance and was flipping on the water's surface, so he reluctantly gave up the idea.

He didn't have the fierce demeanor he displayed when fighting with other bears, nor the cheeky attitude he showed when causing trouble for Guo Mi. At this moment, Caesar inexplicably revealed a certain naivety.

Guo Mi sat at a distance watching him play, and her old habit resurfaced; her displeasure with Caesar had unknowingly dissipated considerably.

She lowered her head and tried to comfort herself. Oh well, who can resist a huge, furry polar bear playing with a toy in such an adorable way? She had just made the mistake that all animal lovers make!

But! Mating is absolutely impossible! Guo Mi gave Caesar one last, frustrated look, knowing she couldn't stay any longer, or Caesar would notice her scent soon.

So he stood up, bowed his head, and called to the little bear:
"let's go."

The little bear obediently followed her, and the three bears climbed onto the ice floe from another direction.

To catch a seal, you must first look for that faint scent carried by the bleak north wind.

It requires great care, but for Guo Mi, who has been a bear for a long time, it is no longer a problem.

She stood in the wind, carefully discerning every message carried by the air. After a long while, she opened her eyes, looked down, and asked the little bear:

Which way do you think we should go?

The salmon and the fish bones stared at each other in bewilderment.

In fact, polar bears have a much more sensitive sense of smell than brown bears. If Guo Mi can smell the scent, then the cub will certainly be able to smell it as well.

The salmon's eyes gleamed, but it hesitated to speak, instead looking at the fish bones beside it.

The little male bear looked hesitant, opened his mouth but quickly closed it again, and looked at his sister pleadingly, wanting her to answer.

Guo Mi didn't urge them and waited patiently.

Fishbone has a much better sense of smell than salmon, but due to his personality, he has always lacked self-confidence and is not good at expressing himself.

The salmon seemed happy to help her younger brother build confidence, so Guo Mi went along with it.

"Fishbone!" the salmon whispered encouragingly.
"Speak up, you know!"

Fishbone hesitated, then whispered:

"Even salmon know that."

The salmon immediately looked up at the sky, its tone regretful:
"Oh dear, it's so cold today. My nose is frozen stiff, and I can't smell anything. What should we do? It looks like we're going to go hungry again."

The fishbone got a little anxious and stretched out its claws to poke at the salmon.

Guo Mi didn't urge them, and just sat there happily until the salmon said pitifully:
"What should I do? I'm so hungry, I can't walk anymore..."

Fishbone finally closed his eyes, took two steps in one direction, and shouted:
"Come this way!"

But he quickly added, somewhat hesitantly:
"I just think the smell is coming from this side, but maybe it isn't..."

He was no longer as timid as before, but Guo Mi and the others had been hungry for a long time. If they chose the wrong direction this time, it would mean that they would have worked for nothing again, and they might not be able to eat for another day or two.

The little guy was afraid that his wrong choice would implicate Guo Mi and his sister, so he hesitated to speak.

He looked at Guo Mi anxiously, waiting for her to make the final decision.

Guo Mi smiled, her gaze resolute as she walked in the direction he indicated.

"Let's go this way!"
