Stop hypnotizing me, villain princess!

Chapter 262 The Grand Finale: Surpassing the Gods

Chapter 262 The Grand Finale: Surpassing the Gods
A kind-faced middle-aged woman with tear stains in her eyes suddenly covered her mouth and burst into tears of joy.

"Brother! How are you feeling? Doctor! Doctor! He's awake!"

A girl who looked to be about fifteen or sixteen years old, with a ponytail and full of youthful energy, jumped up excitedly and rushed out of the ward to call for help.

When Lynn's gaze swept across her face, his heart skipped a beat for no apparent reason—the girl's features were exactly the same as his sister Eleanor from another world.

A doctor in a white coat quickly arrived and carefully examined his pupils, heartbeat, and other vital signs. Finally, he nodded to the family with relief: "His vital signs are basically stable. Thank goodness."

"Lynn, do you remember what happened? You were in a car accident on your way home from school. You were hit by a speeding dump truck and have been in a coma for six months."

Upon hearing this, her younger sister, with tears in her eyes, replied, "To be precise, it's two hundred and six days."

Car accident? Coma?
Lynn's brows furrowed unconsciously.

It felt as if two layers of memories were violently clashing in my mind.

One layer is an incredibly clear, unforgettable, multi-million-year-long cycle of reincarnation filled with countless deaths and despair; the other layer is a blurry yet naturally emerging memory belonging to an ordinary high school student named Lynn: going to school, taking exams, friends, family…

Was that epic and excruciating journey to another world merely a long and bizarre dream woven by the brain during a coma?
Is it because of subconscious projection of the content of games and novels in real life?

Everything that happened before was fake. There was no Lynn who could command the winds and rains in another world. He was just a high school student who had a car accident and was having a pipe dream before he died.

The overwhelming sense of absurdity and disconnection silenced him, and his face turned somewhat pale.

"Alright, don't think too much right after waking up, you still need to rest."

The doctor gently gave instructions, and the family members thanked him profusely.

Just then, the ward door was gently pushed open. A figure timidly peeked in, and upon seeing Lynn awake, her clear, bright eyes instantly filled with tears.

"Senior Lynn."

The girl's voice was choked with sobs.

Holding a bouquet of fresh sunflowers, she walked quickly to the bedside, her cheeks slightly flushed, and greeted Lynn's parents somewhat shyly: "Hello, Uncle and Aunt."

Lynn stared at her in a daze. The girl was wearing the same school uniform as her sister Eleanor. She was petite and had a delicate face like a doll.

Especially those pure, doe-like eyes, yet tinged with a hint of timidity.
The girl in front of me, who was a saintess of the Silent Church in another world but betrayed the Goddess of the Moon for him, looks exactly like her!
".Tia?"

He blurted it out almost without thinking, his voice sounding a little hoarse, as if he hadn't spoken in a long time.

A hint of doubt flashed across the girl's face, then turned into a sweet smile: "Senior, have you been unconscious for too long and gotten confused? I'm Su Wan, a year below you. You used to take care of me a lot at school."

As she spoke, she lowered her head slightly, her ears turning bright red. It seemed that the care she was referring to was more than just what it literally meant.

Real-life memories surfaced at the right time: Su Wan, a junior in high school, was introverted and shy, yet she always boldly and proactively approached him, and almost the entire school knew that she liked him.

The mother smiled and explained, "Since you fell into a coma, Xiao Wan has come to see you almost every day, she's so worried about you."

Lin En suppressed the turmoil in her heart and forced a smile: "Thank you, junior Su Wan."

Just then, a cool yet alluring female voice came from the door of the ward.

Everyone looked over and saw a tall, elegant girl standing there.

Although it was the same school uniform, she wore it with the feeling of a high-class uniform. Her long, smooth hair was draped over her shoulders, and her eyes were calm and wise, carrying an undeniable air of authority.

She carried a fruit basket, her posture elegant and composed.

"Yutang is here."

Lynn's mother stood up and said this after seeing her.

Li Yutang walked in, placed the fruit basket on the bedside table, and looked at Lin En. She nodded slightly and said, "I heard you woke up, so I came to see you on behalf of the student council. You still need to rest well. As for the classes you missed, don't worry about them. I've already had your notes organized. You can come to me anytime if you don't understand anything."

Although her tone was formal, a subtle, almost imperceptible tenderness flickered in her clear, sharp eyes as she looked at Lynn.

Hilina!

Lynn's heart skipped a beat again. This student council president looked exactly like Princess Hilina, the eldest princess of the Saint Laurent Empire!

"Thank you for your concern, senior."

Lynn's voice was a little hoarse.

The student council president—whose real name is Li Yutang—gave a few more brief instructions before taking her leave, citing the need not disturb her rest.

Before leaving, his gaze seemed to casually sweep between him and Su Wan.

Su Wan became even more nervous and reserved after Li Yutang arrived. She whispered, "Senior, get some rest," and then hurriedly left.

Then, two boys, arm in arm and wearing basketball uniforms, rushed into the ward, their loud voices instantly filling the entire room.

"Damn! Lynn, you're finally awake! You've been lying there pretending to be dead for so long, haven't you?" A fair-skinned, cheerful boy chuckled and lightly punched his shoulder.

Is it that kid, Greya, this time?

Lynn felt a deep, indescribable bitterness.

"Yeah, you scared us so much we almost went to the temple to burn incense for you!" Another boy, who looked a bit smarter and was wearing glasses, pushed up his glasses and laughed.

He also looks exactly like Maurice.

Next, even Xiao Yuan, a rich second-generation classmate who had a grudge against him because of the class competition and was always against him, came to visit him with expensive tonics after hearing that he had woken up. Moreover, this person looked exactly like Rhine, and even their personalities were copied and pasted.

Just when Lynn was finally left alone in the ward, his phone suddenly received a video call.

The other person's contact name is "My dear wife".

This made Lynn's heart skip a beat.

Of course, in this life, the other person is not called Ivy, but Yan Qing.

She was attending the World Youth Symposium in Country M when she learned that Lynn had woken up and immediately made a video call.

A profound sense of unreality enveloped Lynn.

This is all too perfect, so perfect it's like an elaborately woven trap?

After being discharged from the hospital and returning home, this sense of unreality became even stronger.

A heartwarming family dinner: his mother made his favorite hot and sour shredded potatoes, cola chicken wings, and braised pork.

His younger sister, Lin Xi, was also chattering away about some of the funny things that happened at school while he was in a coma.

After dinner, his parents continued to inquire about his health. His mother even suggested sleeping on the floor in Lynn's room that night to keep an eye on him, but Lynn politely declined.

In short, everything was filled with ordinary yet precious happiness.

The day after being discharged from the hospital, Lynn couldn't wait to return to school, which was the best private high school in H City.

The weather was fine that day, sunny and bright, with shady trees lining the school grounds. Lynn was a celebrity at school and quite popular; almost every classmate he encountered greeted him warmly and inquired about his health.

On his first day back at school, Lynn was still in a daze, processing his memories. He vaguely felt that he had indeed been in a car accident, because he remembered that more than half a year ago, he was half an hour late leaving school because of student council matters, and as a result, he was hit by a speeding dump truck when he went out.

"Was it really just a dream?"

"But everything that happened in the dream felt far too real."

Lynn felt a bit of a headache. Today was his first day back at school, and he had become the class's darling. Every classmate cared about him a lot, and he hardly had to do anything. His classmates were so enthusiastic that they almost went to the toilet for him.

As for Su Wan, she would come to him as soon as get out of class ended, either bringing him handmade cookies or drinks, her blushing face making her incredibly cute.

Li Yutang "accidentally" bumped into him in the corridor and handed him a hard drive and a thick notebook with a blank expression.

“These are class notes from all subjects over the past year,” she said calmly. “I thought you would wake up eventually, so I had someone record every class you taught. They’re all on a hard drive; you can just plug them into a computer to watch them.”

Lynn looked down and saw that the hard drive had a considerable capacity.

"Thank you, senior sister."

"Lynn said."

During the afternoon PE class, the PE teacher had originally planned to let Lynn rest on the sidelines, considering that he had just recovered from a serious illness.

But Lynn felt that after being in a coma for half a year, she would be ruined if she didn't get some exercise.

Just as he was struggling to run the 400 meters, Xiao Yuan, who always disliked him, "happened" to pass by and said sarcastically, "You're really weak. Looks like the car accident ruined you."

Although he was sarcastic, his actions betrayed him; he would subconsciously slow his pace, as if preparing to help him up if he actually fell.

As school was about to end, Su Wan mustered up her courage and asked Lin En to meet her on the rooftop of the teaching building. With her hands behind her back and her face flushed, she said, "Senior! This is a peace charm I got from the temple. I hope you will be safe and sound from now on!"

She slipped a delicate lucky charm into his hand, but the moment it touched his fingers, she recoiled as if startled and ran away.

Watching Su Wan's hurried departure, a smile unconsciously crept onto Lin En's lips.

What a wonderful time it was to be young.

After school, Lin En, who was on duty cleaning the classroom, was wiping the blackboard when Li Yutang appeared silently at the door.

"There's a plan I need to discuss with you regarding next month's campus science and culture festival. You're the head of the external relations department of the student union. During the six months you were injured and in a coma, I was the one who took over your work. Now it's time to hand it back to you."

She walked in, picked up the blackboard eraser, and naturally began to erase it for him.

The two were very close, and Lynn could even smell the faint fragrance in her hair, exactly the same as the scent of cedar that swayed on Hilina.

"You've just recovered, so don't push yourself too hard with physical labor."

Li Yutang's tone remained calm, yet she unequivocally took over most of Lin En's duties.

On her way home, Lynn "bumped into" Xiao Yuan, who was getting out of a luxury car. As usual, Xiao Yuan made a sarcastic remark: "Tsk, it doesn't look like a big deal. What a waste of my time."

But before rolling up the car window, she precisely tossed him a box of medicine that was supposedly very good for restoring nerve function.

"Hey, don't get me wrong! One of my uncles works at a research institute. This is the first effective drug they developed, but it hasn't been released to the market yet. They're just using you as a guinea pig to test it!"

Warmth, kindness, youth, and even slightly ambiguous troubles.
Damn, is this guy gay?

Lynn looked somewhat serious.

In the memory of his coma, he had played a trick on Rhine, causing him to be mistaken for a homosexual.

However, Xiao Yuan's kindness to him was genuine.

This affection, like Su Wan's gentleness and Li Yutang's steadfastness, is a heartfelt sincerity poured out without reservation into Lin En.

All of this forms an absurd and sharp contrast with the millions of horrific deaths that Lynn had just experienced.

Every bit of sweetness was like a needle, gently probing the core of his soul, which had long been hardened by despair and pain.

Soon, Yan Qing, Lynn's official girlfriend, finished the World Youth Symposium and went straight to the school after getting off the plane.

The afternoon sun filtered through the lush camphor tree leaves, casting dappled shadows on the school corridors, and the air seemed to be filled with a warm and lazy atmosphere.

Not long after the bell rang, students poured out of the classroom, laughing and joking. The noise was deafening, but full of vibrant energy.

Lynn packed up his textbooks and stepped out of the classroom when a tall figure jogged up to him and naturally took his arm.

"Lynn!" A pleasant voice, filled with undisguised affection, said, "We don't have classes this afternoon, how about we go see a movie? I heard the new domestic sci-fi film that just came out is super cool, and the special effects are amazing!"

The woman holding his arm was Yan Qing—his real-life girlfriend.

She wore a clean light blue dress, had her hair in a lively ponytail, and a bright smile on her face. Her eyes were clear and bright, filled with complete trust and reliance on him.

Her appearance was almost identical to that of Yves, whom he had met in another world.

The difference is that she doesn't carry any trace of sadness or heaviness; she only exudes the brightness and vitality of a girl her age.

The warm touch on her arm and the unreserved intimacy made Lynn's heart flutter slightly.

This simple and direct happiness stands in stark contrast to the heavy fragments of bloodshed, betrayal, and death in his memory.

"Okay."

He suppressed the complex emotions in his heart, smiled and nodded, subconsciously relaxing his arm to make her more comfortable holding him.

This feeling of being needed in everyday life was like a warm current, gradually soothing his heart, which had been soaked in endless cold.

"That's great!" Yan Qing happily shook his arm, her smile even brighter.

The two had only walked a few steps side by side when the door of a classroom next to them was gently pushed open, and a petite girl carrying several thick reference books walked out timidly.

When she looked up and saw Lynn, her fair face instantly flushed with a faint blush, like a startled fawn. Her eyes flickered, showing a mixture of wanting to get closer and being shy.

"Senior Lin Lin'en and Senior Yan Qing"

She greeted him softly, her voice gentle and sweet.

It was Su Wan. A blush, typical of a young girl in the throes of first love, rose on her face. Her expression held both unconcealed shyness and a hint of bold anticipation.

This person is definitely a bit of a contrast.

Lynn thought to herself.

Su Wan looked at Lin En with undisguised admiration and intense affection.

"It's Xiao Wan." Yan Qing replied with a smile, seemingly oblivious to Su Wan's thoughts, or rather, not caring much. "Are you carrying so many books to the library?"

"Hmm," Su Wan nodded, but her gaze couldn't help but drift towards Lin En. "There are some...some things I don't quite understand, and I'd like to look them up."

“Since your senior is free, why don’t you ask him to take it for you?” Yan Qing generously nudged Lin En with her elbow, a sly smile in her eyes, as if to say, “See how generous I am.”

Lin En glanced at Yan Qing with a hint of helplessness, but still took the initiative to extend her hand to Su Wan: "Give it to me, it's on my way."

"No, no need! Senior just got discharged from the hospital, he shouldn't overexert himself."

Su Wan quickly shook her head, her face turning even redder, but she subconsciously hugged the book even tighter, as if it were a very precious treasure.

"It's just a few books, it's fine."

Lynn spoke gently and took the heavy stack of books from her hands.

The accidental touch of their fingertips made Su Wan recoil as if electrocuted, her ears turning bright red. She lowered her head and said, "Th-thank you, senior."

The library is right next to the teaching building, so you will definitely pass by it if you want to go to the school gate, which also fits Lynn's point that it's on the way.

On the way to the library, Yan Qing still held onto Lin En's left arm, chattering about the exciting scenes in the movie trailer.

Su Wan quietly followed half a step behind Lin En on his right, occasionally stealing glances at Lin En's profile before quickly lowering her head, a sweet smile barely suppressed on her lips.

This somewhat unusual trio attracted the attention of many students along the way.

After all, Yan Qing is a recognized school beauty with an outgoing personality and excellent interpersonal skills. Although Su Wan is introverted, her pure and lovely appearance is also very famous in the first year of high school. As for Lin En, he has excellent grades, a handsome appearance, and his experience of being in a coma after a car accident some time ago has also made him quite popular at school.

Ignoring the stares from those around them, Yan Qing instead tightened her grip on Lin En's arm, as if silently asserting her dominance.

Su Wan appeared even more nervous and shy, almost shrinking away.

Just as we were about to reach the library entrance, a clear and methodical voice came from the side:
"Lynn, classmate."

The three stopped and turned to look. They saw Li Yutang, the student council president, standing on the steps at the library entrance, holding a folder in her hand, her expression as cold and indifferent as ever.

She was tall and had an outstanding presence; simply standing there, she exuded a convincing aura of authority.

Her gaze swept over Yan Qing, who was holding Lin En's arm, then over Su Wan, whose cheeks were flushed, before finally landing on Lin En's face. She slowly said, "It's just in time to run into you. There's a problem with the venue application you submitted last time for the campus science and technology culture festival next month. I need to verify the details with you."

As she spoke, she walked down the steps, opened the folder, and handed it to Lynn.

Since both of Lynn's hands were occupied—her left hand was held by Yan Qing, and her right hand was holding Su Wan's book—she naturally held the document up to his face, her slender finger pointing to a certain clause.

“This science and technology culture festival will feature many science and technology exhibits. The space you applied for is a bit small. I think it would be better to move to the newly built stadium.”

Her explanation was clear and concise, and a faint, pleasant fragrance wafted from her as she approached.

Yan Qing blinked, looked at Li Yutang who was almost in front of Lin En, pursed her lips, but didn't say anything.

She simply held onto Lynn's hand and didn't let go.

Su Wan became even more reserved. Facing the president, who was famous throughout the school and had a powerful aura, she subconsciously shrank behind Lin En.

Looking at the documents so close to her and at Li Yutang's serious expression, Lin En could keenly detect a subtle hint deep in her eyes that wasn't entirely official.

He nodded: "Okay, I understand. I will have the student in charge revise the plan and submit it as soon as possible."

“Hmm,” Li Yutang closed the folder, her gaze seemingly casually sweeping over the books he was holding, then glancing at the two girls beside him, and added in a flat tone, “You’ve just recovered, don’t overwork yourself.”

This sounds like routine concern from a student council member to an ordinary student.

But coming from the usually taciturn Li Yutang, it sounded rather unusual.

After saying that, she nodded slightly to Yan Qing and Su Wan as a greeting, then turned and left with a composed gait, her back view upright and elegant.

"The student council president really cares about her classmates." Yan Qing muttered teasingly as she watched Li Yutang's retreating figure, then shook Lin En's arm. "Alright, alright, hurry up and take Xiao Wan inside, we still have to catch the movie!"

Lin En helped Su Wan deliver the book to the designated reading area in the library and put it down.

Su Wan blushed and thanked him again, her eyes filled with reluctance.

Leaving the library, Yan Qing pulled Lin En and walked quickly towards the school gate.

"Oh dear, I almost forgot!" She suddenly remembered something, took a thermos from her small bag, and stuffed it into Lynn's hand. "Here, my mom made rock sugar pear soup. She insisted that I bring you a portion, saying it's good for your lungs and cough and will help you recover. Drink it quickly!"

Lynn unscrewed the lid, and a sweet aroma wafted out.

He took a sip, and the warm liquid slid down his throat, bringing a comforting warmth.

The sunlight was perfect, shining on the girl's energetic smile. In the distance, one could almost see Li Yutang handing over tasks to student leaders. Perhaps Su Wan was secretly watching from the library window.

There were no sword fights, no betrayals or sacrifices, no endless pain and death.

There were only youthful anxieties, subtle affections, slightly jealous banter, and a warm cup of sweet soup. This ordinary and mundane daily life, this feeling of being cared for and remembered, was a luxury so luxurious as to be almost unreal for Lynn, who had just escaped countless cycles of despair.

He took a deep breath of the air, which smelled of sunshine and grass, and felt his heart beating steadily in his chest. A subtle, genuine smile unconsciously appeared on his lips.

He truly felt the warmth of this sweet, everyday life, regardless of whether a bigger storm was brewing behind it.

In the days that followed, Lynn sat in the bright and clean classroom, listening to the teacher on the podium explain the function formulas, her gaze fixed on the bright sunlight outside the window.

In reality, he had excellent grades and a comfortable life. Even though they knew he had a girlfriend, Li Yutang and Su Wan were unwilling to give up on him.

Everything seemed to be going in the right direction; it's hard to imagine anyone being able to resist such a wonderful life.

Su Wan, Li Yutang, and Yan Qing embody almost every fantasy a young man has about the opposite sex.

Perhaps forgetting everything in that dream is a good choice.

At this moment, the prisoner of fate silently watches the figure within the cocoon gradually merging with the laws of fate, its boundaries becoming increasingly blurred.

The plan is progressing smoothly as He anticipated.

Just a little longer, and Lynn, this special being, will have his final "true name" completely eroded and rewritten by fate, thus fully inheriting His authority.

At that time, the shackles that have imprisoned Him for countless years will break, and He will be freed from this eternal guardianship duty, gaining the freedom He has longed for.

Such a thought had just surfaced in His vast consciousness, carrying a hint of barely perceptible relaxation.

However, one night, Lynn went to the edge of the rooftop alone.

"Come out."

Clearly, his mental fortitude and willpower exceeded the prisoner of fate's expectations, and he actually awoke from this illusory dream.

Or rather, they were never misled.

Even so, the prisoner of fate continues to try.

The next second, those people Lynn cherished—Yan Qing, Su Wan, Li Yutang, and even his sister and friends—suddenly appeared beside him as if drawn by invisible threads. Their expressions were so genuine, their eyes filled with sorrow, all desperately trying to hold him back.

"Don't go, Lynn, promise me you'll stay."

Yan Qing, his official girlfriend who bore a striking resemblance to Yves, wept uncontrollably, tears streaming down her face. She gripped his arm tightly, her voice heartbreakingly sorrowful, "Isn't this world good enough? You have us, I'm here with you."

Even his mother, who slowly emerged from the crowd with tears welling in her eyes, gently stroked his cheek, her voice choked with emotion, "My child... this time, Mom really doesn't want to lose you again."

Even Li Yutang, abandoning her usual aloofness, stepped forward, her voice soft yet exceptionally firm: "Lin En, don't go. We all need you. Not just as your senior, but as someone who doesn't want you to leave."

However, Lynn's gaze did not linger on their tear-streaked faces.

His gaze seemed to pass over their trembling shoulders, pierce through the walls of this cozy classroom, and even break through the imperceptible, void wall that separated fiction from reality.

His eyes were clear yet cold, with a deep, all-knowing flame burning within them.

He spoke calmly, his voice not loud, yet it carried a peculiar, undeniable penetrating power, as if he were no longer speaking to the characters within this illusion, but directly to the supreme laws that maintain this spacetime:

"Come out."

These three words, falling lightly once more, carried the weight of a thousand pounds.

They are no longer challenges to the "prisoners of fate" who only exist in stories, but rather, like a precise command, they directly question a greater and higher-dimensional being hidden behind the scenes!

And so, the instant the words fell—

Lynn "saw" it.

It wasn't with the eyes, but with the essence of the soul that had been tempered through countless reincarnations and had transcended the mundane, that one touched upon the ultimate answer behind all things in the universe.

Endless information, rules, causality, and the meaning of existence flooded into his perception like a vast galaxy.

He understood; he saw through everything.

Although there was nothing in front of him, he could clearly sense the other person's presence.

He does not reside above the heavens, but exists outside the story.

For Lynn, for the prisoner of fate, and for all living beings in the countless cycles of reincarnation, He is the absolute "outside world".

Its very existence is both the origin of the world and the end of all realms.

Time, to Him, is not a ceaseless river, but a book that can be laid out, flipped through, and even altered at will; space, to Him, is not a vast and boundless territory, but a crystalline fragment that can be stacked, twisted, and played with at will in the palm of His hand.

All causes and effects, all possibilities, and the infinite branches of fate, are clearly laid out and revealed in His vision like an intricate spider web.

The so-called divine power and the creation and destruction of the universe are, to Him, merely punctuation marks already predetermined between the lines, lacking any surprise or unexpectedness.

He needs no physical form; if he must be described, he is the ultimate convergence of all "observation" and "setting".

When He casts His “gaze” upon a world, that world is “determined” from infinite chaotic probabilities and begins to operate according to the rules He tacitly approves or writes.

When He looked away, the world was like a closed page of a book, instantly returning to silence and nothingness, as if it had never existed.

He is the silent screenwriter, the detached reader, and the unspoken final arbiter of creation and annihilation.

In His eyes, all things are neither noble nor lowly, only "interesting" and "uninteresting".

The prisoner of fate thought himself a chess player, but little did he know that the entire chessboard was nothing more than an insignificant toy on his desk.

At this moment, He was gazing at Lynn, not out of concern or malice, but more like a creator examining a character who had suddenly become extremely "special"—a character he had created who was about to break free of his cage and try to look at him.

All the gods in the other world, including the Prisoner of Fate, are merely beings existing in the world of the novel.

What Lynn saw at that moment was the true mastermind behind all of this.

Its name is, High Dimension Overlooker.

what happened?
The prisoner of fate was utterly bewildered by Lynn's sudden words.

At the same time, a barely perceptible sense of panic rose in my heart.

Because He knew very well that Lynn, who was trapped in the cocoon of fate at this moment, was not speaking to Him.

Not only that.

"Crack."

Under His gaze, the cocoon of fate, which should have been unbreakable, began to show cracks!

"I'm sorry, what I said earlier seems to have been somewhat problematic."

Lynn's somewhat weary voice suddenly came from the Cocoon of Fate, as if the few seconds that had just passed had suddenly stretched into eternity.

"You are not me." His tone suddenly turned cold. "Or rather, you are just one of countless failed 'Lynns' in this predetermined story, so much so that even your real name was taken away, and you watched helplessly as His Highness and Miss Witch headed towards the most tragic end."

"How dare a coward like you share my name?!"

The next moment, a shattering sound from the very source of the rules suddenly rang out!

Without warning, a hand pierced through the cocoon of fate that should have been unbreakable!
Then, with unparalleled precision, it seized the invisible and intangible "throat" of the prisoner of fate!
The immense power not only imprisoned its form but also instantly suppressed all its power and will.

An unprecedented sense of horror exploded wildly in the prisoner of fate's perception.

The scene abruptly ends there.

Ten thousand years later, at the end of time and space.

The Council of Gods stood in solemn silence, and the voice of the progenitor of the gods, Sia, echoed like an ancient bell among the stars: "The sword of Damocles is raised—Witch of the End, accept this judgment!"

Countless gods cast cold, disdainful, and even hateful glances at them.

Within the seal, time was forcibly frozen. The Witch of the End, weak and with her eyes drooping, her long hair disheveled, looked like an abandoned doll.

She had long since given up hope, slowly closing her eyes as she awaited the end.

The next second—

The planet suddenly erupted.

An indescribable light, like the first blazing light at the beginning of creation, swept across the entire universe!

The gods all showed expressions of joy, but before they could utter a word of celebration—

But in an instant, they froze on the spot.

Because that beam of light, a destructive weapon created by Sia, the ancestor of the gods, whose aftershocks could annihilate them countless times, was erased in an instant by some unknown force, as if it were a graffiti on a canvas.

The light fades, but the world remains the same.

It was as if nothing had happened.

The Witch of the End opened her eyes in disbelief.

Then, she saw that figure from behind.

That figure she had longed for for ten thousand years, felt guilty for ten thousand years, and silently called out to in countless nights, now stood right in front of her.

Tears welled up instantly.

"Lynn?"

Her voice trembled, and she could barely make a sound.

But he did not turn around.

But the gods saw it clearly—countless ethereal threads were wrapped around him, threads so fine yet extending to every corner of time and space. It was as if the fate of all things was silently intertwined between his fingers.

Even the gods vaguely saw their own light and shadow within these threads.

"Authority surpassing that of the gods?" For the first time, the Divine Ancestor Sia showed a solemn expression. "How is that possible?!"

Lynn did not answer.

He simply raised his hand slightly.

A deity suddenly exploded—without sound or light, as if its existence had been erased from the sky.

Another ancient deity roared and activated its power, causing the river of time to surge backward. But Lynn only glanced at it indifferently, and the vast river dried up in an instant, as if it had never existed.

"Rewrite. Fate," a deity whispered tremulously, "He manipulates the threads of fate!"

The gods finally panicked and unleashed their strongest divine arts and supreme powers.

The next moment, countless stars fell and the divine kingdom collapsed!
But when any attack gets within a thousand feet of Lynn, it's as if it's caught in an invisible net, quietly broken down, reconstructed, or even turned against him by those unseen threads.

A goddess shrouded in light and shadow had just hurled her eternal spear when she was shocked to find her divinity being entangled, stripped away, and rewritten by threads.

She screamed and fell from the altar, instantly turning to ashes.

The ancestor of the gods, Sia, finally stood up, his gaze heavy with sorrow.

Clearly, what was happening before their eyes had transcended the realm of combat; Lynn was manipulating the power of fate to completely erase them from this world.

Lin Nen walked slowly forward, and wherever he went, the gods fell down like ears of rice.

A god tried to escape, but with a flick of his finger, the thread of fate snapped, and he vanished into nothingness.

In the blink of an eye, the once arrogant and invincible Council of Gods was utterly defeated.

The Witch of the End watched his retreating figure, tears streaming down her face.

She couldn't imagine what kind of world Lynn had gone to over those 100,000 years.

And now he has returned—

All for the sake of rewriting her ending at the moment of her trial.

"You don't think that just because you've mastered the power of the Prisoner of Fate, you'll be invincible in the world, do you?"

The Divine Ancestor Sia spoke coldly.

Enveloped in storms and golden lightning, its body ablaze with blazing white flames, it ripped across the sky like a humanoid catastrophe, mercilessly destroying even space itself in its wake, turning it into fragmented, pitch-black cracks that greedily devoured everything around it.

Lynn remained silent.

He raised his hand—a myriad of threads of destiny gathered between his fingers, like the stars in the heavens flickering and shifting, or like the eternal night finally falling into silence.

The "authority of creation" that the ancestor of the gods, Sia, was so proud of was as fragile as dust at this moment.

He tried to mobilize the power of the entire river of time to crush Lynn, but the torrent that was powerful enough to tear stars apart vanished silently when it touched him, as if it had never existed.

“You are in charge of creation,” Lynn finally spoke, his voice as calm as stating a truth, “and I am the writer of the end.”

The next instant, the threads converged.

There was no collision of brilliance, no trembling of grief.

Starting from her fingertips, Sia's body vanished inch by inch, like ink being wiped away—not destruction, but "negation".

His existence was completely erased from all cause and effect, and from all timelines.

It was as if the ancestral god Sia had never been born.

The remains of the gods floated in the shattered spacetime, like puppets whose strings had been severed, and were no longer heard from.

Lynn slowly turned around, his steps somewhat heavy, yet he still resolutely walked towards the sealed figure.

The Witch of the End—Ivy, stared at him blankly, her face still wet with tears, her eyes filled with shock, heartache, and unspeakable longing.

Lynn did not speak, but simply reached out her hands and gently released the seal that bound her.

The next moment, he pulled her tightly into his arms.

"never mind."

His voice was still clear, but it carried an undeniable weariness, as if it had traversed billions of years of vicissitudes.

The Witch of the End trembled in his arms, her fingers instinctively clutching the front of his shirt, as if afraid it was just an illusion.

But his embrace felt so real, and his heartbeat seemed to travel through the fabric—slow, heavy, yet unwavering.

She looked up at him.

The boy's features remained unchanged, and he still had that handsome and refined appearance, but his hair was now completely white.

And from his voice, the witch could detect a barely perceptible hint of aging.

"Your hair."

Her voice choked with emotion.

"It's alright now," he interrupted gently, his fingertips stroking her long hair. "It's all over."

She closed her eyes and finally burst into tears in his arms.

The 100,000 years of waiting, loneliness, and despair all melted away in that one "It's alright."

The soft light of dawn gently bathed the Bartlett Estate, and the morning mist, like a veil, lingered between the rose bushes and stone steps in the courtyard.

Morning light filtered through the curtains and fell on Yves's eyelashes.

She felt as if she had struggled out of an extremely long and dark dream; her heart was still beating slightly frantically, and her breathing was still a little rapid.

She dreamt of the judgment of the gods, the collapse of the universe, and endless loneliness and despair.

But the next moment, she noticed the temperature.

Yves slowly opened her eyes and found the boy she loved so madly curled up in her arms, fast asleep.

His face was as serene as ever, his breathing gentle, as if he had just returned home to sleep after a tiring adventure.

She gazed at him, momentarily unable to discern whether this was a continuation of a dream or a real gift.

Until her gaze fell on her left hand—

On my ring finger, a simple iron ring had been placed at some point.

It was rough and simple, without any fancy decorations, yet it held her fingertips firmly, like a silent and steadfast vow.

It looks very much like a wedding ring.

She gently raised her hand, looked at the iron ring, and a smile involuntarily crept onto her lips.

At that moment, tears silently streamed down my face.

She leaned down, pressing her face close to Lynn's forehead, listening to his steady breathing, and feeling his real presence.

Welcome back.

She murmured softly, as if speaking to him, or perhaps confirming it to herself.

The sunlight gradually brightened, enveloping the two figures embracing.

Everything was as peaceful as ever.

It's like nothing happened.

It felt as if a full 100,000 years had passed.

Yves chuckled softly.
