"Your humble servants pay homage to the Jade Emperor, the Supreme Heavenly Venerable, the High God of the Mysterious Vault. May the Supreme Heavenly Venerable enjoy boundless blessings and be revered for eternity."

The Jade Emperor sat high above the heavens, his gaze sweeping down upon the emperors, deities, and civil and military immortals below, and said mercifully, "Rise."

"Thank you, Your Majesty!" The crowd roared, shaking the heavens.

After leading all the deities back to their respective ranks, the Jade Emperor spoke, saying, "Today's court assembly is to appoint the new Emperor of the Western Mountain and the other deities of the Western Mountain."
