At the same time, two golden clouds appeared outside Mount Hua, followed by a beam of immortal light flying out from the Mount Hua Divine Palace to meet them.

When the two golden clouds stopped, the figures of two bodhisattvas were revealed. They were Guanyin Bodhisattva and Zhunti Bodhisattva, invited by Zhi Du, the Minister of the Western Mountain.

After the two bodhisattvas stopped, the celestial light descended directly in front of them, and the barefoot immortal hurriedly bowed to greet it.

"Greetings, Your Excellencies," the Barefoot Immortal said with a bow and a smile.

Guanyin Bodhisattva and Zhunti Bodhisattva quickly returned the greeting, and then Zhunti Bodhisattva said with a smile, "Why is the Great Immortal here as well?"

The Barefoot Immortal smiled but did not answer directly. Instead, he said, "The Third Holy Mother has already been convicted and is now on the Execution Platform, awaiting execution."

"What?!" Upon hearing this, Minister Zhidu was greatly surprised, and then sighed, "Alas, even though I rushed back as fast as I could, I'm still too late."

But Guanyin Bodhisattva calculated with her fingers and said, "The Third Holy Mother has not yet been executed, there is still time."

Upon hearing this, Zhi Du quickly said, "Yes, yes, yes, you two bodhisattvas, please go and save the Third Holy Mother!"

The Barefoot Immortal said, "Don't be in a hurry. The two Bodhisattvas and the Heavenly Venerable of Universal Transformation of Thunder and Lightning from the Nine Heavens are also here."

"Oh?" Upon hearing this, the two bodhisattvas' expressions hardened, and they quickly exchanged a glance.

At this moment, Bodhisattva Cundi asked Bodhisattva Guanyin, "Venerable Guanyin, can the Heavenly Venerable of Universal Transformation and Responding to the Origin of Thunder in the Nine Heavens have any dealings with you?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva thought for a moment and said, "There was a favor done four thousand years ago."

Bodhisattva Cundi immediately said, "Good, good, it's good that you have a sense of kindness. Hurry up and go, or everything will be over."

At this point, the Barefoot Immortal stopped obstructing them and instead went to the Execution Platform on the West Peak with Guanyin Bodhisattva, Zhunti Bodhisattva, and Zhi Du.

On the execution platform, Erlang Shen glanced at the sky and then gave the order: "It's noon, carry out the execution."

Upon receiving the order, Tiger Vanguard immediately raised the Heavenly Calamity Blade. With a piercing clang echoing across the western peak, the Heavenly Calamity Blade slashed down.

Just then, a beam of Buddhist light flew rapidly from afar, instantly catching the falling Heavenly Evil Blade.

Upon hearing the sudden change, Huo Ling Zhenxian and Erlang Shen immediately looked up, and Xiyue Dadi also quickly looked into the distance.

A moment later, Guanyin Bodhisattva and Zhunti Bodhisattva landed on the West Peak on auspicious clouds. After landing, Guanyin Bodhisattva and Zhunti Bodhisattva hurriedly shouted, "Spare their lives!"

When Erlang Shen saw the two Bodhisattvas, he immediately withdrew his killing intent. Huo Ling Zhenxian did not speak, but only turned around and glanced at Zhuang Yan.

Seeing that Zhuang Yan had a smile on his face and showed no surprise, she already knew what was going on.

Tiger Vanguard pressed his knife down, but it was held up by the Buddha's light and could not be lowered an inch. He then shouted to Guanyin and Zhunti, "Bodhisattvas, are you going to storm the execution ground?"

"How dare I?" Bodhisattva Zhunti quickly replied with a smile, "Heaven cherishes life. Although the Third Holy Mother has broken the boundary between immortals and mortals, she has not committed any evil deeds in the human world, and her sins do not warrant death."

Then, Bodhisattva Zhunti and Bodhisattva Guanyin stepped forward and bowed to the Thunder God Emperor, saying, "This humble monk pays respects to the Heavenly Venerable of Universal Transformation of Thunder in the Nine Heavens."

Lei Zu Dadi smiled and returned the greeting with clasped hands, saying, "Greetings, two Bodhisattvas."

Guanyin Bodhisattva asked with a smile, "Is the Heavenly Venerable here to supervise the Heavenly Laws?"

Lei Zu nodded and said, "That's right."

Upon hearing this, Guanyin Bodhisattva said, "Your Majesty, although the Third Holy Mother has married a mortal, she did not intend to disrespect the Heavenly Laws. Sometimes, entanglements in karmic relationships are beyond her control. Please forgive her for her past merits, for not committing evil in this mortal realm, and for not revealing her divine form before anyone." Zhunti Bodhisattva also said to Zhuang Yan, "Divine Emperor, what Guanyin says is quite true. The Third Holy Mother's crime does not warrant death. We beg Your Majesty to have great mercy and spare her life, and deal with her according to other circumstances."

Zhuang Yan smiled and said, "Fellow Daoist Zhunti, did you come here specifically to plead for the Third Holy Mother?"

“Indeed,” said Bodhisattva Zhunti. “We beg the Divine Emperor Shenxiao to grant us mercy.”

Guanyin Bodhisattva continued speaking to Lei Zu, "Heavenly Venerable, do you remember when you were eliminating demons in the South China Sea four thousand years ago, you said that Heaven's will is like a knife, and the human heart cannot escape it? This humble monk thinks this is very true. How could the Third Holy Mother possibly resist this preordained karmic entanglement?"

"This humble monk humbly begs the Heavenly Venerable to show mercy and spare the Third Holy Mother's life, so as to demonstrate the Heavenly Venerable's benevolence in cherishing life," Guanyin Bodhisattva said with a smile.

Upon hearing Guanyin Bodhisattva bring up the matter of helping him subdue demons four thousand years ago, Lei Zu understood that this was to use the favor from four thousand years ago to exchange for the life of the Third Holy Mother.

Lei Zu then looked at Zhuang Yan and asked, "Divine Firmament Emperor, the words of the two Bodhisattvas seem to make sense. What do you think?"

Zhuang Yan said, "Every drink and every bite is ordained by Heaven. Although the Third Holy Mother has done much good, she has still violated the Heavenly Laws. Her merits cannot outweigh her sins, so how can she be excused so easily?"

Bodhisattva Zhunti understood that Zhuang Yan did not owe her any favors, but they had some kind of relationship.

On the contrary, she owed Zhuang Yan a considerable favor, since he had saved her life in the Vedic Kingdom last time.

Thinking of this, Bodhisattva Zhunti immediately said, "If the Divine Emperor Shenxiao can show compassion and forgive the Third Holy Mother's death sentence, this humble monk is willing to bear this karmic consequence."

Zhuang Yan wanted to hear those words from Bodhisattva Zhunti, so as soon as Bodhisattva Zhunti said them, Zhuang Yan immediately said, "Very well, since the Bodhisattva is willing to bear the consequences, then I have nothing more to say, and I will spare the Third Holy Mother from death."

Upon hearing this, both Cundi Bodhisattva and Guanyin Bodhisattva immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

The Great Emperor of the Western Peak and Empress Suming were overjoyed. Hua Yue Erlang knelt down and kowtowed three times to Zhuang Yan, the Heavenly Venerable of Universal Transformation of Thunder and Lightning of the Nine Heavens, and the two Bodhisattvas.

When the Holy Mother heard that she was spared death, a glimmer of color finally returned to her previously ashen face.

Fire Spirit Immortal waved to Tiger Vanguard, who immediately sheathed his Heavenly Calamity Blade.

Then, Zhuang Yan said, "Bring the Third Holy Mother back."

The divine general beside her immediately stepped forward, removed the chains from the Third Holy Mother's body, and escorted her to Zhuang Yan.

Zhuang Yan looked at the Third Holy Mother and said, "Third Holy Mother, since the two Bodhisattvas have pleaded for you, and Bodhisattva Zhunti is willing to bear the karma, then I will spare your life."

Upon hearing this, the Third Holy Mother immediately kowtowed to Zhuang Yan to express her gratitude.

But Zhuang Yan continued, "You may be spared the death penalty, but you cannot escape punishment. After all, you have violated the Heavenly Laws and deserve severe punishment."

After saying that, Zhuang Yan took out a pottery jar and threw it at the Third Holy Mother. The jar flew out instantly, capturing the Third Holy Mother inside. Then, the jar flew straight out of Mount Hua and flew westward for 100,000 miles before transforming into a 'Pottery Mountain' and crashing down, suppressing the Third Holy Mother within it.

Then Zhuang Yan's voice rang out above Tao Mountain: "Third Holy Mother, I now imprison you under Tao Mountain, to suffer the punishment of being ground by stone mills, soaked in water, and buried in the earth for ten thousand years, as a warning to others."

After suppressing the Three Holy Mothers, Zhuang Yan looked at the Bodhisattva Zhunti and said, "Since the Bodhisattva is willing to bear the karma, then she cannot continue to stay on Mount Ling."

Bodhisattva Zhunti sighed inwardly and said, "I am willing to heed the decree of the Divine Firmament Emperor."

Zhuang Yan issued an imperial edict: "From this day forward, I hereby confer upon the Bodhisattva Zhunti the title of 'Mountain God of Tao Mountain,' placing her directly under the jurisdiction of the Jade Palace of the Mortal Realm. She shall bear my imperial edict and guard Mount Tao, and no one shall be allowed to break the seal of Mount Tao in any way."

Bodhisattva Cundi immediately accepted the decree, bowed and said, "This humble Taoist accepts the decree."

Seeing this scene, the Great Emperor of the Western Peak was happy that his daughter's life had been saved, but he also knew that the two Bodhisattvas would not have gone to such great lengths to plead for his daughter without a reason.

It should be noted that Bodhisattva Zhunti took the initiative to accept the karma and left Mount Ling to become the mountain god guarding Mount Tao in the Jade Palace of the Mortal Realm. This was equivalent to being recruited by Zhuang Yan, transforming from a carefree Buddhist Bodhisattva into a celestial official under Zhuang Yan's jurisdiction in the Jade Palace of the Mortal Realm.

It can be said that he, the Great Emperor of the Western Peak, owes the Buddhist sect a huge favor this time, which he will definitely have to repay later. Moreover, with the conflict between Buddhism and Brahma intensifying, the time to repay this favor is probably not far off.

However, the Great Emperor of the Western Mountain could not care about so much. As long as he could save his daughter's life, what was wrong with owing a favor and paying some price?

So that very day, the Great Emperor and his wife of the Western Peak returned and held a celestial banquet at the Western Peak Divine Palace to thank Zhuang Yan and Lei Zu for their extraordinary mercy, and to express their gratitude to the two Bodhisattvas for traveling thousands of miles to help them.
