Upon seeing this, King Qin Guang quickly stood up and returned the greeting, while Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva put his hands together and said, "Your Highness, your courtesy is too great."

Afterwards, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva pondered for a moment and said, "It is not difficult to bring fellow Daoist Guangchengzi back to life, but there must be a complete body in the human world to carry him."

Emperor Xuanyuan Huangdi asked in surprise: "The original body is no longer usable?"

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva laughed and said, "The original body has already perished and was damaged in the battle. How can it be used again?"

Xuanyuan Huangdi said: "There are ways to repair the body. Besides, the original body is more compatible with the soul. After returning to life, it can directly restore the original Taoism, saving a lot of trouble from re-cultivation."

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva shook his head and said, "Let's not talk about whether the damaged and incomplete body can be repaired and restored to its original state. According to the laws of the underworld, this is not the case."

"Oh?" Emperor Xuanyuan Huangdi looked puzzled and said with a cupped hand: "I would like to hear the details."

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said: "According to the laws of the underworld, once a soul enters the underworld, it cannot return to the living world, unless the underworld makes a mistake in taking souls away. However, fellow Daoist Guangchengzi did indeed die in a battle of dharma, and his soul has returned to the underworld. Logically speaking, he cannot return to the living world."

King Qin Guang on the side continued, "Saint, what Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said is very true. Since the birth of the underworld, although there are special cases for those whose souls return to the world, they cannot directly violate the laws of the underworld."

Emperor Xuanyuan Huangdi said, "That is to say, since ancient times, all the special cases of the spirits returning from the underworld have rebuilt their bodies in the human world?"

"That's right. This can be considered another form of reincarnation, so it can avoid the problem of Yin Law." King Qin Guang said.

Emperor Xuanyuan Huangdi understood it. Simply put, the Yin Law stipulates that, except for the souls that are taken away by mistake from the underworld, any souls that enter the underworld after death cannot return to the world of the living and can only be reincarnated through the six realms of reincarnation.

That’s because Nezha’s soul floated to Lingshan, and then Tathagata Buddha used lotus roots to rebuild his body. Do you, the underworld, dare to offend Tathagata Buddha?
Therefore, the underworld always opens a convenient door for the sacred things from all sides, so there are ways to circumvent the laws of the underworld.

"I see." Emperor Xuanyuan nodded slightly, and then said: "Well, then please ask Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to temporarily take in the soul of Taoist Guangchengzi for a few days. I will go back and rebuild his body for him, and then ask him to return to life."

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva smiled and nodded, saying, "Very good."

When Emperor Xuanyuan Huangdi saw that the matter was settled, he breathed a sigh of relief and prepared to get up and say goodbye.

But at this time, King Qin Guang hesitated for a moment, and then reminded: "But there is still one thing that needs to be explained, otherwise the soul of Emperor Guangchengzi will not be able to return to life. Even if it is returned, there will be trouble in the future."

King Qin Guang said, "But he has control over the human world. As the God of Fortune and Blessings, Lingtai Zhenjun guards the human world on behalf of the heavens. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said: "It would be fine if Lingtai Zhenjun does not care. If he investigates it seriously, this matter will always be unclear. So in order to avoid trouble, it is better to make it clear in advance."

When Emperor Xuanyuan Huangdi heard this, he nodded and said, "Okay, I will explain this to Master Lingtai."

After saying this, Emperor Xuanyuan Huangdi immediately stood up to say goodbye. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and King Qin Guang stood up to see him off, and they escorted Emperor Xuanyuan Huangdi out of Ksitigarbha's palace before returning.

"And send fellow Taoist Guangchengzi's soul to the Ksitigarbha Hall for rest." Ksitigarbha said to King Qin Guang.
