When the Peacock King heard this, he knew that he must have run into trouble again, so he asked with a smile, "What trouble has the Great Sage run into now?"

Sun Wukong said, "I was just about to tell the Bodhisattva that a monster of unknown origin on the road pretended to be Guanyin Bodhisattva and captured my master and several fellow apprentices. I went to the South China Sea to find Guanyin Bodhisattva, but I didn't expect that Guanyin Bodhisattva was not at the Luojia Mountain Dojo, so Hui'an Xingzhe followed me. Hey! Unexpectedly, Hui'an Xingzhe was also captured by the monster."

"Oh? Is there such a thing?" Peacock King said, "A demon pretending to be a Bodhisattva, didn't you see that, Great Sage?"

Sun Wukong said: "My flaming eyes can distinguish the real from the fake, but I don't know how that monster managed to evade my flaming eyes. I came to Lingshan this time to report this to Guanyin Bodhisattva."

Hearing this, Peacock King suddenly realized and said, "So that's how it is. Then, Great Sage, how about you come with me to the Shangsheng Temple?"

Sun Wukong asked, "Is this the place where the Buddha from the East held a meeting?"

The Peacock King nodded and said, "If the Avalokitesvara comes to Lingshan, he must be here."

Sun Wukong nodded and said, "Okay, Bodhisattva, please don't stay. Take me there quickly."

The Peacock King smiled, then rode on a auspicious cloud and went to the Shangsheng Temple with Sun Wukong.

In Shangsheng Temple, colorful lanterns shine brightly, the Jade River flows brightly, the Heavenly King Vajra is majestic and solemn, the Arhat Bodhisattva is solemn and majestic. Dragons and phoenixes fly into the sky, precious deer chase the clouds, the Buddha's light shines thousands of feet, and auspiciousness fills the sky.

The Peacock King rode on a cloud and landed outside the Shangsheng Temple with Sun Wukong. Then the Galan God came forward and bowed to the Peacock King, saying, "Greetings to the Peacock Mother Bodhisattva."

Sun Wukong laughed and said, "Why do you only recognize the Bodhisattva and not me?"

When the two Galan gods heard this, their faces changed slightly, and then they quickly bowed and said, "Greetings to the Great Sage Equaling Heaven."

Sun Wukong laughed, bowed in return, then walked straight past the two Galan gods and broke into the Shangsheng Temple.

The two Galan gods turned around and tried to call out, but were stopped by the Peacock King. She only smiled and said, "Let him go. Can you really stop him?"

The two gods of the Temple looked at each other, then turned around and bowed, saying, "Yes, Bodhisattva." They then retreated to stand guard on both sides of the gate of Shangsheng Temple.

The Peacock King stepped into the Shangsheng Temple and said to Sun Wukong in front of him: "Great Sage, don't wander around. I will lead you."

Sun Wukong stopped and waved, "Hurry up, Bodhisattva, hurry up."

The Peacock King hurried over and said to Sun Wukong, "Great Sage, please walk slower."

Sun Wukong looked at her and laughed, "Why is the Bodhisattva so delicate?"

The Peacock Mother rolled her eyes at Sun Wukong and said, "After all, I am a Bodhisattva, so I still have some dignity. How can I behave like a monkey like you?"

After that, the Peacock King brought Sun Wukong all the way to the Main Hall of Shangsheng Temple, where he saw Buddhas sitting high and Bodhisattvas filling the hall. Sun Wukong took a quick look and was stunned to find that the only Bodhisattva missing from the hall was Guanyin.

The Peacock King was also startled, but she was the first to step forward, put her hands together and bowed, saying, "Disciple pays homage to the Buddha Maitreya."

Today's Dharma Assembly is held by Maitreya Buddha, so all Buddhas regard Maitreya as the master.

Maitreya Buddha smiled and nodded slightly to Peacock King, saying, "Please take a seat, Peacock King."

"Thank you, World Honored One." The Peacock King bowed and then flew to the lotus throne that belonged to her, then manifested his Dharma form and sat down.

Then Maitreya Buddha looked at Sun Wukong with a smile and said, "Where are you, Great Sage?"

Sun Wukong laughed and said, "Buddha from the East, I am here to find Guanyin Bodhisattva."

"Oh?" Upon hearing this, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the hall were stunned for a moment, and then they heard Medicine Master Tathagata beside them say: "Venerable Guanyin has not arrived here."

"What? She didn't come here?" Sun Wukong was very surprised. "Then where did she go?"

Maitreya Buddha shook his head and said with a smile: "I have already sent an invitation to Luojia Mountain in the South China Sea, but Guanyin has never been here."

As he spoke, Maitreya Buddha pointed to the lotus throne of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and said, "Look."

Sun Wukong glanced at the empty lotus throne and couldn't help but wonder, "Could it be that the Bodhisattva has hidden himself from me?"

"Hahahaha." All the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas laughed when they heard this.

The ancient Buddha Ran Deng at the side asked with a smile: "Does the Venerable Guanyin owe you money? Or does he owe you a favor?"

Sun Wukong smiled and said, "It's hard to say, but I don't owe you anything."

"Then why is she hiding from you?" asked the ancient Buddha Ran Deng: "If she owes you anything, you can tell us now, and we can help Guanyin pay it back."

Sun Wukong clapped his hands and laughed, "I've been waiting for you to say this, Ancient Buddha."

"Oh?" The ancient Buddha Ran Deng was stunned for a moment, then he understood and smiled, "This monkey is good at using words to lead people, and I fell into his trap."

Sun Wukong said with a smile: "The words of Buddha Dipankara have been spoken, so you are not allowed to regret it."

"Okay, then Great Sage, just tell us, what can we do for you?" asked the ancient Buddha Ran Deng.

Sun Wukong immediately told the story of Wangshu. When they heard that someone had impersonated Guanyin Bodhisattva and deceived Sun Wukong and captured Tang Seng and others, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas present were very surprised.

The ancient Buddha Dipankara looked even more solemn and said, "How could such a wicked thing happen? Let me settle the score for him."

After saying this, the ancient Buddha Dipankara closed his eyes, counted with his fingers, and in a moment he saw through all the secrets of heaven.

After a while, the ancient Buddha opened his eyes, looking very surprised, "How strange, how strange."

"Ancient Buddha, have you seen any clues?" asked Maitreya Buddha.

The ancient Buddha Dipankara said: "That monster seems to be related to Venerable Avalokitesvara. I can't tell the origin of that monster, but it does have the appearance of Venerable Avalokitesvara." "This..." Maitreya Buddha and Medicine Buddha looked at each other and were both shocked. How could a monster have the appearance of a bodhisattva?
At this time, Guanyin Bodhisattva said, "Could it be that on the way to Lingshan, Venerable Guanyin was attacked by that monster?"

"Absolutely impossible." Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva said decisively: "Avalokitesvara is the teacher of the seven Buddhas, with boundless magical powers and great supernatural powers. The biggest demon in the three realms is in the temple, and even he can't do anything to Avalokitesvara. What demon can harm Avalokitesvara?"

Sun Wukong said: "If the Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta wants to praise me, then he should praise me. Why would he belittle me?"

“Hahaha.” Manjusri Bodhisattva laughed and said, “Great Sage, he didn’t mention any names, so you admitted it yourself, didn’t you?”

Sun Wukong said: "How can I not see it? Besides me, who else in this palace has been a demon?"

"I." The Peacock King said with a smile, "When I was a demon, I ate the Buddha's Dharma body. If it weren't for the Buddha's compassion and salvation, how could I have achieved my current status?"

Hearing this, Sun Wukong immediately asked, "By the way, why don't you see Master Tathagata?"

Maitreya Buddha smiled and said, "The Tathagata Buddha was invited by Yuanshi Tianzun to preach the Dharma in Yuqing Heaven."

Sun Wukong said: "Since Tathagata is not here, we can't just ignore this monster pretending to be a Bodhisattva."

"Of course." Medicine Buddha nodded, and then asked, "Which Bodhisattva will go with the Great Sage to rescue Tang Monk from his predicament?"

As soon as he finished speaking, Manjusri Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva and Peacock King Bodhisattva all stood up and said, "We are willing to go."

"Okay." Medicine Buddha nodded, and then said: "In this case, the four Bodhisattvas will go together to see what the monster is."

The four Bodhisattvas bowed and said, "We obey the command of the Dharma."

Sun Wukong also hurriedly bowed and said, "Thank you very much, Lord Buddha. Four Bodhisattvas, let's set off now."

The four Bodhisattvas nodded, and then flew down from the palace on auspicious clouds. Manjusri Bodhisattva said to Sun Wukong, "Great Sage, please lead the way."

"Okay." Sun Wukong responded, and then said: "Four Bodhisattvas, please follow closely."

After saying this, Sun Wukong immediately flew up on a cloud and flew out of Shangsheng Temple in the blink of an eye. The four Bodhisattvas also rode on auspicious clouds and followed Sun Wukong away.

After Sun Wukong and the four Bodhisattvas left, Cundi Bodhisattva asked the Ancient Buddha Dipankara: "Ancient Buddha, do you know where the Venerable Avalokitesvara is going?"

The ancient Buddha Ran Deng shook his head and said, "The whereabouts of the Venerable Guanyin have been concealed, and it is difficult for this poor monk to see through it. However, you can rest assured that the Venerable Guanyin is not in danger, and her great power of Buddhism still illuminates the three realms of the world."

Hearing this, all the Bodhisattvas present breathed a sigh of relief. The only thing to figure out now was where the monster came from, or maybe it wasn't a monster at all, but Guanyin Bodhisattva herself who had gone down to deal with the disaster.

Guanyin Bodhisattva is wearing Luosu fairy clothes, holding a jade bottle in her hand, and followed by the dragon girl holding a pearl.

In front of her stood a villa that was quaint, simple, elegant, quiet and ancient.

In front of the gate of the villa stood a young man wearing a Taoist robe, with his hair tied up and a hairpin, and a clear face. When the young man saw Guanyin Bodhisattva coming, he bowed from a distance and said with a smile: "Bodhisattva, long time no see."

When Guanyin Bodhisattva saw the young man, his originally serious expression immediately became relaxed.

She smiled, walked forward and returned the greeting, then said with a smile: "I was on my way to Lingshan to attend the Dharma Assembly of Maitreya Buddha, but someone used great magical power to interfere with my guidance and diverted my route to Chang'an City. I thought it was a great demon, but I never thought it was Lingtai Zhenjun."

Zhuang Yan smiled and said, "We bought a villa in the suburbs of Chang'an, and we asked the Bodhisattva to come and take a look at it as soon as possible. What do you think? Am I a good friend?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva smiled, nodded and said, "You are a good friend indeed."

After that, Zhuang Yan invited Guanyin Bodhisattva to enter the villa. Half an hour later, after Guanyin Bodhisattva had finished looking around the villa, she asked Zhuang Yan, "Why did you buy this villa on earth instead of living in heaven?"

Zhuang Yan smiled and said, "The world is bustling but the white clouds are cold. I have stayed in the sky for too long. I should come down and take a look at the world in my spare time."

Guanyin Bodhisattva nodded, and then said: "Then the True Lord invited me here this time for..."

The manor laughed, "Just for one thing."

Guanyin Bodhisattva smiled and said, "You don't need to tell me yet, Master Lingtai. Let me guess."

After that, Guanyin Bodhisattva stood there and pondered for a moment, then smiled and said, "Is it because Wangshu pretended to be a poor monk and captured Tang Monk and others?"

Zhuang Yan asked in return: "Isn't this a ready-made difficulty?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva smiled and nodded, saying, "That is true, but since the Buddha Maitreya has invited me to attend the Dharma Assembly, I cannot be absent without a reason."

Zhuang Yan said, "That's easy. Just ask the maiden beside you to go to Lingshan and report the whole story."

Guanyin Bodhisattva nodded, then turned around and said to the Dragon Girl holding the pearl: "Then you can take my letter to Lingshan first, and only present this letter to Maitreya Buddha. Don't say anything else, and don't tell anyone where I am. After delivering the letter, you can stay in Lingshan."

After saying this, a piece of silk flew out from the hand of Guanyin Bodhisattva and fell into the hands of the Dragon Girl holding the pearl.

The dragon girl holding the pearl put away the silk, then bowed and said, "I will obey your command."

Then the dragon girl holding the pearl turned around, stepped on the clouds and rose up, disappearing into the sky in the blink of an eye.

Then Zhuang Yan invited Guanyin Bodhisattva to the main hall of the villa. The two walked side by side. At this time, Zhuang Yan said, "I heard that the Tang Dynasty court issued an edict. In order to avoid the taboo of Emperor Li Shimin, from now on, all 'Guanyin Bodhisattva' in the Tang Dynasty will be changed to 'Guanyin Bodhisattva'. Does the Bodhisattva know?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva didn't care at all, just smiled calmly and said: "I know, he is the emperor, he has the final say."

“Haha.” Zhuang Yan laughed and said, “Fortunately his name is not Li Lingtai, otherwise I can’t use this title.”

Guanyin Bodhisattva smiled and waved her hand, saying, "It doesn't matter. People will die eventually, including the Human Emperor."

The two of them came to the main hall and sat down. Zhuang Yan raised his hand and waved, and several jade plates and fruit baskets filled with all kinds of fairy fruits and delicacies immediately appeared on the table next to him and Guanyin Bodhisattva.

"Ginseng fruit." Zhuang Yan said with a smile, "Please, Bodhisattva."

Guanyin Bodhisattva looked at the three ginseng fruits placed on the jade plate in the middle of the table and was extremely surprised. She said half-jokingly, "It seems that Taoist Zhenyuan is also very filial to his sworn brother's uncle."

"Hahaha." Zhuang Yan laughed, then raised his hand again, and a huge water curtain immediately appeared above the main hall. The picture in the water curtain was exactly the picture of the Buddha Cave Mountain.

Zhuang Yan picked up a ginseng fruit and asked Guanyin Bodhisattva, "What should I call this difficulty?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva looked at Wangshu who looked very much like herself in front of the Buddhist cave and said with a smile, "Let's call him 'True and False Guanyin'."
