Manjusri Bodhisattva bowed and said, "Replying to the Buddha, we come from Ziluo Mountain."

The Tathagata Buddha asked again, "Why don't you see Samantabhadra?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva bowed and said, "There is a Tiger Spirit Cave in the Ziluo Mountain. Inside the Tiger Spirit Cave is a Tiger Spirit King. This monster is very powerful and Taoist friend Puxian was captured by him accidentally."

As soon as Guanyin Bodhisattva spoke, exclamations of amazement rang out throughout the entire main hall.

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva is one of the Three Holy Ones of Huayan Buddhism and is ranked among the top eight Bodhisattvas in Buddhism. His magical powers are boundless.

Manjusri Bodhisattva also said: "Although the monster is fierce, we can capture it if we use our magic power. However, there is a master protecting this monster. Although Guanyin once put it into the bottle, it escaped soon. Moreover, this monster's cave is protected by a mysterious power, so we can't get close to it."

After hearing what Avalokitesvara and Manjusri said, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas were surprised. Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva asked, "Who is so powerful that he would allow such a monster to cause harm in the lower world?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva smiled and said, "That demon didn't do any harm to anyone. Instead, he was a kind and compassionate person. He captured Samantabhadra Bodhisattva because of a misunderstanding."

Manjusri Bodhisattva also said: "What Avalokitesvara said is absolutely right. Although Samantabhadra Bodhisattva was captured by him, his life will not be in danger."

Guanyin Bodhisattva said: "That being said, I, a Buddhist Bodhisattva, was captured by a wild demon king. If this were to spread, it would damage the dignity of my Buddhism."

Guanyin Bodhisattva and Manjusri Bodhisattva nodded, and then they bowed to the Tathagata Buddha together and said, "Please open your eyes and see the origin of that monster and who is the powerful person behind it."

The Tathagata Buddha nodded slightly and said, "Let me see."

After saying this, the Tathagata Buddha was seen making hand gestures with his hands and slightly closing his eyes. In an instant, he looked throughout the three realms and all the heavens. The mysteries of heaven were all in his sight.

After a moment, Tathagata Buddha opened his eyes and said with a smile: "I already know the origin of that monster. The person behind it is very important. This person is neither a Taoist nor a Buddha, and he often sits in the Lingtai Palace."

After the Buddha finished speaking, there was no further words. Guanyin Bodhisattva and Manjushri Bodhisattva frowned, and thousands of thoughts flashed through their minds in an instant.

But the Bodhisattva Cundi suddenly smiled and said, "Could the person the Buddha was talking about be Lingtai Xianmiao Yuji Zhenjun?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva and Manjusri Bodhisattva were stunned at first, and then suddenly realized. When the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas heard this, they all looked towards Tathagata Buddha, but saw that Tathagata Buddha just smiled and said nothing.

But doing so would naturally be tantamount to acknowledging that it was Zhuang Yan, and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas present were a little surprised for a moment.

At this time, Peacock Great Bright King Bodhisattva asked: "If the backer of that monster is Lingtai Zhenjun, then why did Lingtai Zhenjun instruct this monster to capture my Buddhist Bodhisattva?"

Manjusri Bodhisattva said: "It may not be Lingtai Zhenjun's order. We do have some misunderstandings with the tiger monster."

As for the Bodhisattva Cundi, he asked, "Will the pilgrim pass by the Ziluo Mountain soon?"

After hearing what Cundi Bodhisattva said, Guanyin Bodhisattva immediately reacted, "I see."

It was obvious that the Tiger Spirit King was the calamity prepared by Zhuang Yan for the pilgrims, but they ran into him first.

At this time, the Tathagata Buddha said: "Venerable Avalokitesvara, Venerable Manjusri, please return to your seats."

The two Bodhisattvas bowed and then flew onto the lotus platform and sat down.

At this time, Peacock King Bodhisattva asked: "Buddha, should we send someone to rescue Samantabhadra Bodhisattva?"

The Tathagata Buddha smiled and said: "Everything has its own destiny, just let it be."

Hearing this, the Peacock King Bodhisattva was stunned for a moment. Does this mean to save or not save?

However, Guanyin Bodhisattva and Manjusri Bodhisattva looked at each other, understood what Tathagata Buddha meant, and bowed and said, "Follow my Buddhist teachings."

The Buddha nodded slightly and then closed his eyes again.

When the Peacock King saw this, his eyes moved slightly, and then he sat down.

At the same time, in Daluo Heaven, inside the Tushita Palace.

Taishang Laojun looked at the two newly-baked gourds of Taiyi Purple Gold Pills in his hands and smiled broadly.

"This kid's magic is really useful. Originally, one furnace of medicine only produced one gourd of pills, but now one furnace of medicine can produce two gourds of pills, which saves me a lot of effort." Taishang Laojun said with a smile. At this time, an immortal official came in and bowed to Taishang Laojun, saying: "Old Lord, the Jade Purity Saint Ancestor Ziyuanjun is here."

"Oh?" Upon hearing this, Taishang Laojun said immediately, "Please ask her to go to the front hall to serve tea first. I will put the medicine into the furnace and go over."

The immortal official received the order and turned to leave, but he saw that the Mother of Mount Li had already arrived outside the alchemy room. She bowed to the Supreme Lord Lao and said, "I pay my respects to the Lord Lao."

When Taishang Laojun saw this, he quickly extended his hand and said, "Daoyou, there is no need to be polite. It is very hot here. You can go to the front hall and sit for a while. I will be here soon."

The Old Mother of Mount Li smiled and said, "Although this alchemy room is hot and dry, it is also the most precious treasure land in the three realms. How dare I despise it?" After saying that, she walked into the alchemy room.

Taishang Laojun smiled and said, "What a treasure land, it's just a place to cook fire and boil pot."

At this point, Taishang Laojun pointed to a pile of immortal medicines not far away and said, "Since you are here, please help me sort these immortal medicines into different categories and put them into the alchemy furnace in order."

"I'm willing to serve." Lishan Laomu bowed, then stepped forward to classify the elixirs with Taishang Laojun, and sent them into the alchemy furnace one by one according to the order of the eight trigrams.

After an incense stick of time, all the elixirs were put into the alchemy furnace. Taishang Laojun closed the furnace roof and said to Lishan Laomu: "Thank you for your help, otherwise it would take me half an hour to finish it."

Lishan Laomu said quickly: "You are too polite, Laojun. It is just a small favor."

At this time, Taishang Laojun asked the boy beside him to start fanning the fire, and he said to Lishan Laomu: "Please go to the front hall to serve tea."

Lishan Laomu bowed and said, "I came here today because I have something to ask Laojun. I am really ashamed to bother you so much. I dare not delay Laojun from refining the elixir. I will just ask you the reason and leave."

Taishang Laojun smiled and said, "What do you want to ask, fellow Taoist?"

The Mother of Mount Li told the Supreme Lord Lao about the incident at Ziluo Mountain in detail. After listening to it, the Supreme Lord Lao was slightly surprised and said, "Don't worry, fellow Taoist. I will take a look at the origin of this monster."

After saying this, Taishang Laojun waved the whisk in his hand, then raised his left hand and began to calculate.

After just a few blinks of an eye, Taishang Laojun retracted his finger gestures, then stroked his long beard and laughed heartily.

Lishan Laomu asked in surprise: "Why is Laojun laughing? Did you figure out the origin of the monster?"

Taishang Laojun said: "Don't worry, fellow Taoist. Although Samantabhadra was captured by the tiger monster and taken into the cave, his life is not in danger."

"Oh?" Lishan Laomu asked, "May I ask Laojun, what is the origin of that monster? Who is the person behind it?"

Taishang Laojun smiled and said, "That tiger monster was once a vanguard under Lingtai Zhenjun Mansion."

The Supreme Lord said: "Fellow Daoist, you can hide your true body and live at the foot of Ziluo Mountain. There will be more interesting things to watch later."

Upon hearing this, the Mother of Mount Li also understood the situation and asked, "The old man is referring to the man who is seeking scriptures?"

"That's right." Taishang Laojun said with a smile: "As for Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, don't worry, he will be fine. On the contrary, if you keep looking for trouble with the monster, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva will be in a bad situation."

Lishan Laomu nodded, then bowed and said, "Thank you for your guidance, Laojun. I understand now."

After saying this, Lishan Laomu waved her hands, took out ten red immortal herbs from her sleeves and said, "This is the 100,000-year-old 'blood-purifying wormwood'. I picked it on Penglai Island 500 years ago and have not used it for many years. Today, I would like to thank Laojun for his guidance. I will present this medicine to Laojun."

Taishang Laojun's eyes lit up, and he quickly reached out to take the ten stalks of Artemisia selengensis, then said with a smile on his face: "Okay, okay, I'm just short of this stuff when I'm refining the elixir, thank you very much, fellow Taoist."

"I dare not." Lishan Old Mother bowed her head and said, "I will take my leave now."

Laojun returned the greeting and said, "Take care, fellow Taoist."

The Mother of Lishan bid farewell to Laojun, left the Tushita Palace, descended from the West Heaven Gate, and landed directly in Ziluo Mountain.

When Lishan Laomu just landed on Ziluo Mountain, she saw auspicious clouds and auspicious aura in the sky ahead, and Guanyin Bodhisattva also appeared in the mountain at the same time. Manjusri Bodhisattva did not come this time, he stayed in Lingshan.

The Mother of Mount Lishan came forward to greet her, and the two of them greeted each other. Then Guanyin Bodhisattva told the Mother of Mount Lishan what the Buddha had said, and the Mother of Mount Lishan also told Guanyin Bodhisattva what the Jade Emperor had said.

Guanyin Bodhisattva shook her head and smiled, "It was originally a disaster for those who seek scriptures, but we never thought we would run into it first."

Lishan Laomu said: "Now that things have come to this, why not just listen to Laojun's words, hide your true body, and show yourself here to watch the fun?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva nodded and smiled, "Okay."

So the two of them transformed themselves, put away their sacred bodies, and turned into two ordinary old women, then turned around and settled down in the previous mansion.
