Chapter 41: Black tea suddenly isn’t sweet anymore

Chapter 41: Black tea suddenly isn’t sweet anymore
The curse stops immediately?
The old man walking slowly down the cobblestone street did not chant any spells.

Naturally, Ian couldn't make an accurate judgment based on this.

He could only sense that an invisible hand had stopped the magic from running out of control.

The moment the blazing flames disappeared, it seemed as if the whole world had darkened, and the air was filled with a faint smell of smoke that had not yet completely dissipated.

That may be the only proof that a fire ever existed.

The moonlight penetrates the clouds.

under night.

It was as if nothing had ever happened.

Even the burned down fence was restored to its original state.

"Principal Dumbledore..."

Ian recognized the old man walking slowly towards him and lowered his head in embarrassment.

While he was feeling a little worried and uneasy, he also had some doubts. Why would Dumbledore come to Hogsmeade village in the middle of the night?

"I prefer you little wizards to call me professor. It makes me seem not as old-fashioned as I look." Dumbledore quickly walked in front of Ian.

He did not rebuke Yu Ian for his recklessness.

Instead, he made fun of himself in a joking tone.

"Yes, Professor Dumbledore."

Ian immediately changed his tone.

"Wouldn't you like me to come in and sit for a while?"

Dumbledore looked towards the door of the cabin.

"Sorry, I must have been a little shocked."

Ian quickly opened the door and made an invitation.

He was also a little uneasy.

I don’t know what Dumbledore meant by this - mind perception can sense Snape’s emotions, but it doesn’t work well in front of the headmaster of Hogwarts.

"I really didn't expect that I would run into a brave wizard on my way back to the castle. He actually dared to try to create a new magic at his doorstep."

Dumbledore sighed as he walked in. He looked around the neat living room, then looked in the direction of Ian's bedroom, and finally chose to sit in front of the desk by the window.

"That is far from being called a creation. It can only be called a disaster." Ian hurried to the tea table and poured Dumbledore a cup of black tea.

"At least you have embarked on this path, which means a lot." Dumbledore took out a bag of brown sugar from somewhere and began to pour it into the black tea.

Very direct compliment.

But Ian couldn't be happy.

"If it weren't for your help, professor, I would have gotten into a terrible disaster." He didn't even wait for Dumbledore to attack him, but started to reflect on himself first.

"I shouldn't have made such a dangerous attempt. I almost burned down the whole village. What a fool I was!" Ian is actually quite scared when he thinks about it now.

His expression of regretful reflection and self-examination made Dumbledore slightly stunned.

immediately.

The old man shook his head with a dumb smile.

"We can't be too harsh on a little wizard like you." Dumbledore didn't look up at Ian, as if he was concentrating on mixing his tea.

"I just hope that this thrilling encounter will make you remember deeply that on the road of exploring magic, "caution" is far more important than any other quality."

In the quiet wooden house.

Dumbledore's earnest words were gentle but powerful.

"Remember your teachings."

Ian nodded seriously.

"Relax a little, maybe... you should put on your clothes and pants first." Dumbledore suddenly laughed, and only then did Ian realize that he was only wearing a pair of shorts.

"It's okay, just act like a bird."

Ian's face turned slightly red, but he still pretended to be relaxed.

"????"

Dumbledore looked slightly confused.

"Professor, are you here specifically to see me?"

Ian took the opportunity to ask.

He didn't think Dumbledore usually lived in Hogsmeade.

"Do not."

as predicted.

The old bee shook his head and took a sip of the black tea with a "lethal" sugar content. "I just came to deliver a notice, and on the way back I happened to see the fire on your side."

"Actually, I've been observing you from a distance for a while, and I have to say..." A complex expression flashed across Dumbledore's eyes, and he continued speaking in an amazed voice.

"Your understanding of magic is different from that of most wizards." He was obviously referring to the study of magic circuits, which many wizards would never go too deep into in their lifetime. "Huh?"

Ian gave a blank look.

Still feeling a bit nervous.

"Don't worry, this is not a bad thing. It is a kind of talent that only a few people have." Dumbledore has a pair of deep eyes behind his thick glasses.

"I heard that you have learned Snape's Shadowless Strike?"

He seemed curious and asked suddenly.

"what?"

Ian was stunned.

immediately.

Then he nodded.

Although Snape had warned him not to tell anyone, since Dumbledore had already asked, if he still wanted to conceal it, it might be a lack of respect for the Master of Legilimency.

No matter what.

Ian wouldn't gamble.

"It wasn't me who wanted to learn it. Professor Snape pressed my head and told me that if I couldn't learn it, he would lock me up in an extremely evil place."

Ian still adhered to the principle of telling the truth but not telling the whole truth. He vividly described Snape's coercion and how weak and pitiful he was.

however.

Dumbledore clearly didn't care about his story.

"How long did it take to learn?"

The old bee drank his tea seemingly casually.

"One hour?"

Ian lied.

no way.

Don't tell lies.

God knows what kind of unnecessary misunderstandings will arise from the fact that I can learn black magic in seconds.

"It's mainly because Professor Snape taught well!"

After he finished speaking, he even remembered to make amends for himself.

"..."

Dumbledore did not respond.

He kept stirring the black tea with a stick that appeared to him.

Didn't take another sip.

"I think I know..."

Dumbledore turned his head and looked at the starry sky outside the window. "You will definitely achieve great success, child. Don't let your amazing talent go to waste..."

He hasn't finished speaking yet.

suddenly.

There were subtle and strange fluctuations in the air.

Followed by.

A dazzling red light appeared, and a red phoenix flapped its wings and flew out. Its feathers were like dazzling brilliance in the dim room, so beautiful that it was breathtaking.

"Mr. Prince, it looks like our tea party tonight has to come to an end." Dumbledore put down his cup, stood up, and straightened his wrinkled white robe.

He seemed to suddenly think of something.

"A small tip: the circuit formed by magic power is not the direct cause of the birth of magic. You may need to change your focus in the pursuit of magic."

Dumbledore spoke simply and to the point.

"Change the focus?"

Ian thought thoughtfully.

at this time.

Dumbledore had already raised his arm.

Waiting for the Phoenix to fall.

however.

Neither he nor Ian who was thinking expected that after circling in the room for a few times, the phoenix would swoop down from the roof.

Two claws.

It fell straight onto Ian's head.
