Chapter 523 Trading
The spaceship of Yu Xia and others landed in an asteroid belt, and then went forward and entered the jurisdiction of the space station of Deman Star.

In order to avoid being blocked by Harrison and his men outside Deman Star, they chose this place as the trading location with the black market sellers.

"You stay on the spaceship, and I will go and trade with them."

Flock put his gun on his waist, swung the jetpack device onto his back, picked up a bag of gold coins on the table and weighed it.

Although Yu Xia knew them, these people were mercenaries who were paid to do things, and they were not easy to get along with.

"I'll go too." Yu Xia helped him check his equipment and other things, and said, "They might know me, so the transaction might go more smoothly."

Most of the mental links that Charles established with her were with people who were close and familiar with her, and not everyone who had met her was affected.

Because of this, Flock was afraid that she would be recognized, so he helped her disguise herself.

Yu Xia felt that Maki and the others were mercenaries, not from any side of the Federal Empire, so perhaps he could still seek cooperation with them.

"We can't cooperate with them." Flock saw what Yu Xia was thinking without having to link her mentally. "Since they have connections with the Sentinels of Holinnix, Harrison will definitely use this to monitor them. If we encounter them, we will fall into Harrison's hands again."

After that, Flock added: "Besides, those sentinels don't know you at all now. They won't stand on our side again. Even if they do, what if Harrison threatens you with them?"

Yu Xia listened to Flock's clear analysis of the pros and cons and sighed, "I understand. I'll wait for you on the spaceship, but Little Octopus has to go with you. One more person is an extra layer of insurance."

She believed that Maki and the others were kind-hearted by nature, but she thought the same as Floch did. They were mercenaries who were roaming around and had some difficulties in dealing with. They would not just hand over things with a smile.

When she said that, both of them were unhappy.

"I have to stay by your side and protect you." Two tentacles flew out from behind the little octopus and wrapped around her, and the whole fish stuck to her.

Yu Xia already has a way to deal with the little octopus, "If you don't go, then I will."

As she spoke, she picked up the gun at hand.

The little octopus quickly rolled up her gun and said, "I'll go, I'll go!"

Yu Xia smiled and pinched his face. The little octopus was easier to deal with.

Flock and Kraken left the spaceship and headed for the transaction location.

Yu Xia could see Machi and his crew's spaceship in the main control room. They had been waiting there early.

After Flock and Kraken got off the spaceship, Maki and others also got off.

Flock only paid a partial deposit on the black market website, and the remaining option was to trade in gold coins, exchanging money for goods to avoid unnecessary complications.

Yu Xia watched them conduct the transaction through the images transmitted back by the floating ball following Flock.

"Where's the goods?"

Flock frowned and asked the sentries in front of him.

"Yes, don't worry." Ana grinned at them.

When Flock heard what he said, he felt something was wrong.

"Aren't you sentinels?" Maki suddenly asked.

She looked at the two "sentinels" in front of her and quickly saw that they were equipped with camouflage devices.

"I can't smell it." Feng Yan said calmly: "They have activated the mental shield."

Ana was a little surprised. "Isn't it the Sentinel who activated the mental shield? Then isn't that the guide?"

After that, the three of them looked at each other. The guide was a little difficult to deal with. They did have a way to deal with the guide. Polya had taught them before, but this was for their defense, not for dealing with the guide.

"Where are the things?" Flock asked again in a cold voice. He had already discovered that something was wrong with these people.

Maki laughed, "Oh, we have the goods. Don't worry, we can get whatever you want. But the goods are on our spaceship. Why don't you come with us to get them?"

Flock took a step back, drew the gun from his waist and pointed it at Maki, "Let's trade here. If you don't see the goods, you won't walk out of here alive."

Kraken followed his example and pulled out two guns, pointing them at the other two sentries.

"Hiss." Ana tilted his head and whispered to Maki, "Boss, you're a tough guy. Why do you still want to do this job? They are guides."

Although they were not active sentinels, they did not dare to provoke the guide. As the saying goes, it is better to provoke a hundred sentinels than a single guide.

Not to mention whether they can withstand the guide's mental attack, the mere fact of hurting the guide is enough to put them on the wanted list for life.

Maki: "You're not going to do anything?"

After saying that, she and Ana smiled friendly at the two "sentinels" in front of them, "Don't get me wrong, you want too many things, and you want them urgently, so we have to prepare them too. Anyway, since you are here, why don't you two stay on our spaceship for a while, and the things will be delivered soon."

Flock laughed angrily, "You don't have any goods."

Flock turned to look at the instrument floating beside him, "See? The person you chose."

Yu Xia was silent. She never expected that Maki and the others would accept the order without even preparing the goods.

At this moment, a muffled groan was heard from the screen. Before Yu Xia could see clearly what happened, the screen went black.

Yu Xia held his forehead and sighed, and decided that she had to follow him.

On the Maki spaceship.

Flock and Kraken sat on the ground, trapped inside a cage glowing red.

This was one of the few treasures that Maki and his men had. They guessed that these two people might be guides, and for their safety, they had to trap them like this before they could sit down and have a good talk.

"Is this kid a guide?"

Maki and the others stood outside the cage, stroking their chins and looking at the half-beast child in the cage with a thoughtful look on their faces.

"That should be the case." Feng Yan said as he looked at the data displayed by the testing instrument.

"That's it." Ana: "It's not enough that we captured a guide, but we captured a young guide. Now the Mercenary Association is going to expel us from the list."

Hiro: "My reputation is ruined."

Maki scratched his hair in annoyance. "What are you scratching? We invited them to play on our spaceship. Go, bring some delicious food and toys."

"Little friend." Maki smiled and bent down to speak softly to Flock, "Don't worry, we won't hurt you."

Flock sat cross-legged on the ground with his arms folded, not wanting to pay any attention to the sentinels. He said that he had no good feelings towards the sentinels and that they were not good people.

Seeing that Flock ignored him, Maki looked at the little blue curly-haired boy who was in a similar posture as him.

The little curly-haired boy kept staring at them with a fierce look in his eyes.

Maki continued to talk to him with a smile: "Who are you to this little boy? He doesn't look that old, brother?"

Kraken: "He, my son."

After hearing this, Flock immediately pounced on him and started fighting with him, "How dare you take advantage of me, stinky octopus! I am your ancestor!"
