Chapter 145 The Heir

Knowing that Brother Sen's true identity and that he was rich, Duanzi still couldn't quite accept eating at such a high-end restaurant.

"Brother Sen, let's go somewhere else."

He grew up in the countryside. His father passed away when he was eight years old, and his mother remarried.

Duanzi started working before graduating from elementary school. For the past ten years, he has lived frugally in order to save money to go home and build a two-story house for the grandfather who raised him.

Lin Chen saw through his thoughts, said a few words to the lobby manager, and then left the Sheng Tang Club, driving Duanzi to a roadside food stall.

The barbecue at the food stalls was pretty good, but the drafty plastic tents were a bit freezing.
