Chapter 93 The Bathroom Incident

Jiang Yuning was about to send a message to Fu Xicheng when her phone suddenly received a barrage of messages.

Countless red envelopes appeared on her chat page with Fu Xicheng.

Jiang Yuning put her phone aside and waited until the messages stopped popping up before picking it up and slowly scrolling through the screen.

After thinking it over, she sent Fu Xicheng an emoji.

Fu Xicheng sat on the sofa. He saw the message Jiang Yuning had sent him. He stood up and handed his phone to Lu Zhiqian.

“Lu Zhiqian, I sent Jiang Yuning so many red envelopes, and she only replied with this one emoji. Does this emoji mean she has forgiven me?”

Fu Xicheng felt that his guess was correct, but he wanted to find someone else to confirm it for him.

When Lu Zhiqian saw the heart emoji, he nodded. "Looks like he's forgiven her."

The next second, a look of surprise lit up Fu Xicheng's eyes, and he asked with a smile, "Then I don't have to kneel anymore?"

Fu Xicheng understood what Lu Zhiqian said.

He hesitated, not daring to send Jiang Yuning another message to test whether she had calmed down.

Suddenly, Fu Xicheng thought of something and immediately said, "Lu Zhiqian, quickly pull up the design department's surveillance footage. I want to see Jiang Yuning."

Lu Zhiqian paused in his writing, closed the document in his hand, and complied with Fu Xicheng's request.

Fu Xicheng's gaze fell on the computer screen, and he immediately spotted Jiang Yuning's figure.

After he gave Lu Zhiqian his feedback, Lu Zhiqian personally checked the surveillance footage of all the company's important departments.

Lu Zhiqian, with his keen observation skills, interjected, "She didn't eat a single bite of the little cake you gave her."

Fu Xicheng tilted his head slightly and saw a delicate little cake on the table, which hadn't even been opened.

He frowned and subconsciously clenched his hands, which were hanging between his legs.

"Lu Zhiqian, turn off the surveillance cameras."

Lu Zhiqian raised an eyebrow, his gaze probing. "Fu Xicheng, don't you have any confidence in yourself? Are you worried about not being able to win over your girlfriend?"

To be honest, Fu Xicheng really lacked self-confidence. He leaned back on the sofa, crossed his legs casually, and then closed his eyes.

Lu Zhiqian chuckled to himself; he really enjoyed seeing Fu Xicheng get his comeuppance.

For the first time, he realized that Jiang Yuning was a talented person; she could make a calm and collected man lose his composure.

Lu Zhiqian stood up and grabbed Fu Xicheng by the collar.

"Come on, come with me to the restroom."

Fu Xicheng looked up at him and said in a low voice, "Go by yourself."

Lu Zhiqian ignored Fu Xicheng and said casually, "I'm planning to go to the restroom on the design department floor. Are you sure you don't want to run into your girlfriend there?"

Fu Xicheng remained seated.

As Lu Zhiqian walked out of the office, he quickly stood up.

At this moment, Jiang Yuning finished a cup of milk tea and a large cup of hot water. She walked out of the office and went to the restroom.

After coming out of the restroom, Jiang Yuning tidied her hair in front of the mirror. She bent over and slowly washed her hands.

Lin Yao went to the restroom, glanced at the person washing their hands at the sink, and couldn't help but become sarcastic and mean.

"Jiang Yuning, you did this on purpose, didn't you? You deliberately got angry so Mr. Fu would coax you, so that everyone in the company would know that you have a gentle and considerate boyfriend."

Jiang Yuning turned off the tap and pulled out a tissue to dry her hands.

She said in a calm tone, "Lin Yao, if you envy me, you can let your boyfriend try this trick too."

Lin Yao was furious. Not all men in the world are as gentle as Jiang Yuning's boyfriend.

She believed that Jiang Yuning was definitely her nemesis, and that whenever they had a conflict, a pimple would appear on her face the next day.

She pointed at Jiang Yuning and said in a vicious tone, "Don't think that just because you have the president backing you up, I can't do anything to you. Jiang Yuning, the president is just playing with you. Don't take yourself too seriously."

Jiang Yuning chuckled. She had no relation to the president whatsoever. Lin Yao's mouth was full of nonsense, and she always found it disgusting.

She turned her gaze to Lin Yao and said calmly, "Then you'd better be careful. Be careful that one day I whisper in the president's ear and make you get out of Huangtian Group, or even out of Haicheng."

Lin Yao was shocked. Jiang Yuning must be trying to scare her. She absolutely couldn't lose her composure.

“Jiang Yuning, I did nothing wrong. The president has no reason to kick me out of the company.”

At that moment, Lin Yao, with her sharp ears, heard footsteps approaching from not far away.

Suddenly, a wicked thought came to her mind. She immediately ruffled her hair and pretended to fall to the ground.

"Jiang Yuning, I only said one thing to you, how could you be so vicious as to push me to the ground?"

Jiang Yuning was taken aback. Lin Yao's decision to start acting left her somewhat at a loss.

She was speechless; she had actually become colleagues with someone like that.

Jiang Yuning said helplessly, "Lin Yao, there's no one else here. You don't need to pretend anymore. You're just pretending to fall to the ground. What exactly are you trying to do?"

Lin Yao persisted, her voice even trembling with tears, "Jiang Yuning, stop trying to deny it, you're the one who pushed me."

At this moment, Jiang Yuning heard footsteps, but the footsteps did not seem to come from one person.

She seemed to understand Lin Yao's purpose in doing so.

Jiang Yuning ignored Lin Yao on the ground and walked straight out of the restroom.
