Chapter 41 Jiang Yuning, do you miss me?
Meng Shuyu muttered, "Is this persistent guy lying in wait here, waiting to ambush me?"

Xie Linzhou stood up from the sofa. He was tall and slender, and walked over to Meng Shuyu with his long legs.

Fu Xicheng looked at her, a smile playing on his lips, and waved to Jiang Yuning.

"Jiang Yuning, I'm waiting for you to get off work."

Jiang Yuning couldn't control her heart; a warm feeling welled up inside her. "Why did you come so suddenly? I wasn't prepared at all."

Fu Xicheng gently put his arm around her shoulder, his eyes filled with doting affection and tenderness. "Jiang Yuning, I missed you, so I came to pick you up from get off work."

Jiang Yuning followed Fu Xicheng into the car.

Fu Xicheng didn't rush to drive, but turned to ask, "Jiang Yuning, have you missed me?"

Jiang Yuning leaned against the car window, gazing at the scenery outside. "Fu Xicheng, I have no answer."

Fu Xicheng didn't hear the answer he wanted, but he wasn't discouraged; this was just the beginning. Suddenly, he leaned close to Jiang Yuning, pulled a seatbelt from above her head, and fastened it for her.

Jiang Yuning's heart pounded as he looked at Fu Xicheng.

"I can fasten my own seatbelt."

Fu Xicheng smiled gently, her eyes tender, "With your boyfriend here, you don't need to lift a finger."

Jiang Yuning suddenly realized that Fu Xicheng's words touched her heart. She really wanted to unbuckle her seatbelt and hug Fu Xicheng.

She stared at him, trying to suppress the unknown emotions in her heart. "Fu Xicheng, let's drive."

Fu Xicheng smiled faintly, "The way you looked at me just now was as if you wanted to devour me. I thought you were going to do something to me, or say something."

Jiang Yuning lowered her eyes, but her mind was in turmoil.

Fu Xicheng started the car and slowly drove onto the asphalt road.

The red light ahead turned on, and Fu Xicheng turned up the temperature inside the car. He unbuckled his seatbelt, reached back with his long arm, and grabbed his coat from the back.

He draped his coat over Jiang Yuning and said considerately, "It'll be too hot without air conditioning in this weather. If you're cold, you can wear my coat."

Fu Xicheng returned to the driver's seat and fastened his seatbelt.

The man's coat had a clean and pleasant scent. Jiang Yuning wrapped the coat around herself, as if she could feel the warmth emanating from Fu Xicheng.

She lowered her head slightly and gently brushed her nose against his clothes.
