Chapter 25 Jiang Yuning, give me a chance, okay?

Yu Xiran's eyes were slightly red as she clenched the envelope in her hand. She did not regret making a deal with this Mr. Xu.

She was willing to do anything for her mother's health.

Xu Yansheng wasn't able to chat with everyone. He said, "I'll take you back."

Fu Xicheng stared at Jiang Yuning, a playful glint in his eyes. He wanted to tease her a little.

"Jiang Yuning, are you trying to be cute with me?"

Jiang Yuning noticed that Fu Xicheng's gaze suddenly fell on her. His burning gaze seemed to have a kind of magic, making her feel as if he could see right through her.

She lowered her head, picked up the water glass on the table, took a sip of water, and denied what he said.

"Fu Xicheng, I didn't."

Fu Xicheng chuckled, finding it amusing, but he didn't want to upset Jiang Yuning.

"Alright, I'm not kidding you anymore. This turtle is just a gift from me."

Jiang Yuning was somewhat surprised. Fu Xicheng had given her a gift for no reason, and she felt something was very wrong.

She pressed on, asking, "Why did you think of giving me a gift?"

This question is practically a freebie; Fu Xicheng really enjoys answering questions like this.

Suddenly, Fu Xicheng moved to the side, getting closer to Jiang Yuning.

"There's no reason why, I just want to be good to you, Jiang Yuning. I think you should understand my feelings." Jiang Yuning didn't dare to look directly into Fu Xicheng's burning gaze. She pretended not to understand and acted as if she knew nothing. She quickly changed the subject.

"Fu Xicheng, what exactly do you want to talk to me about by inviting me here?"

Fu Xicheng took a document from his briefcase and handed it to Jiang Yuning.

“The collaborations you’ve lost recently are indeed related to Gu Yan. I gave him a little punishment today, so you don’t need to thank me.”
