Chapter 15 Blushing
Fu Xicheng suddenly threw something at him, and Xie Linzhou almost missed catching it. He angrily complained, "Damn it, Fu Xicheng is a real jerk. He went on a date and left the two of us here."

"I really don't know how I became brothers with him in the first place. Sigh, maybe I was blind before."

Qi Shubai chuckled and pointed to the camera above his head. "Watch your words, or Fu Xicheng might be watching the surveillance footage."

Xie Linzhou looked up at the spot Qi Shubai was pointing to. He didn't say anything, but instead focused his attention on the painting hanging on the wall.

After Fu Xicheng got into the car, Jiang Yuning opened the map and drove according to the navigation instructions.

The car was very quiet. Fu Xicheng turned his gaze to the window, and when he saw a certain spot, he couldn't help but frown.

He glanced around and spotted a pack of wet wipes in the side drawer of the driver's seat. He stared ahead, as if waiting for an opportunity. Soon, the red light came on.

Jiang Yuning smoothly stepped on the brake. Fu Xicheng pursed his lips and noticed that Jiang Yuning was looking at a map on the screen.

She probably doesn't have time to get herself a wet wipe.

He unbuckled his seatbelt and moved closer to Jiang Yuning.

Jiang Yuning noticed Fu Xicheng's actions, and the next second, she pushed him away abruptly, her tone even carrying a questioning tone.

"Mr. Fu, what do you want to do?"

Fu Xicheng tilted his head in confusion, not understanding her actions.

"Miss Jiang, I saw you were looking at the map carefully, so I didn't want to disturb you. May I use the wet wipes in your side drawer?"

It turned out she had misunderstood him.

Jiang Yuning awkwardly turned to the side, took out the pack of wet wipes, and threw it on Fu Xicheng's lap as if she was angry.

Fu Xicheng slowly pulled out a wet wipe and asked curiously, "Miss Jiang, are you hot? Would you like to turn down the car's air conditioning?"

As soon as Fu Xicheng finished speaking, Jiang Yuning's face flushed again. She wiped the sweat from her nose and refused outright.

"No, I was just a little nervous."

"What are you nervous about?"

Fu Xicheng wondered, was she nervous about what I was going to do to her?

Jiang Yuning turned her gaze forward. What could she be nervous about? She thought Fu Xicheng was trying to take advantage of her.

When did her thoughts become so impure? She just thought too badly of Fu Xicheng.

Jiang Yuning thought for a moment, then stammered as she spoke, and it took her a while to come up with a suitable reason.

"It was my first time driving a woman out to dinner, so I was a little nervous."

"Oh, really? Miss Jiang, there's no need to be nervous. I'm not the kind of bad person who cheats and swindles."

The indicator light ahead turned green. Jiang Yuning cleared her throat and gently reminded him, "Mr. Fu, please fasten your seatbelt."

Fu Xicheng smiled and humorously said two words, "As you command."

He glanced at Jiang Yuning out of the corner of his eye and noticed that her face was unusually flushed.

He smiled lazily, thinking that Jiang Yuning must be thinking about something she shouldn't be thinking, otherwise her face wouldn't be so rosy.

"I'm a bit of a clean freak. If I see something dirty, I want to wipe it clean. Miss Jiang's car has a layer of dust on it."

Jiang Yuning glanced at it; she hadn't washed her car in a long time. She'd been very busy with work lately and hadn't had time to clean the interior. Embarrassed, she didn't know what to say. She wondered, with Fu Xicheng pointing out problems so bluntly, was it really possible for him to get a girlfriend?

Fu Xicheng wiped the dust off the car. Jiang Yuning secretly glanced at him and noticed that Fu Xicheng had neatly folded the wet wipes after wiping the car.

The two of them did not speak to each other again on the way.

Upon arriving at the mall, Jiang Yuning and Fu Xicheng took the elevator directly to the fourth floor. Just as they got off the elevator, Jiang Yuning suddenly spotted someone. She immediately grabbed Fu Xicheng's wrist and pulled him to the other side.

Fu Xicheng looked down and found Jiang Yuning holding his wrist. The corners of his mouth involuntarily turned up.

As they walked, Fu Xicheng realized that something was increasingly wrong. He seemed to have been bewitched by Jiang Yuning's beauty, so much so that he didn't even realize they were going in the opposite direction.

Fu Xicheng pulled his wrist back, and Jiang Yuning felt resistance at her wrist. She stopped and immediately let go of his hand.

She didn't expect that she would hold onto Fu Xicheng's wrist the whole way without letting go.

Jiang Yuning said apologetically, "Mr. Fu, there was indeed a reason for what happened just now."

Fu Xicheng simply looked at Jiang Yuning, but teased her, "If you want to shake hands, then shake hands. Miss Jiang, you don't need to explain to me."

Jiang Yuning didn't know how to explain. She had just seen Gu Yan by accident, and she didn't want to see him. She just wanted to avoid him.

"Mr. Fu, it would be better to explain, in case you have a girlfriend, she will be jealous."

Fu Xicheng quickly replied, "I am a person of high moral character and have never had a girlfriend, so Miss Jiang, you don't need to worry."

Jiang Yuning exclaimed in surprise, "Ah!"

Fu Xicheng is exceptionally good-looking. Doesn't anyone pursue such a handsome man?

"Are you that surprised? By the way, Miss Jiang, don't change the subject. The place where we were eating was clearly in the north, but you brought me to the south."

Jiang Yuning stood there, at a loss. She made a request, "This time, let's not go to the north. Let's eat in the south. What do you think?"

Fu Xicheng went along with her wishes, "Ladies first, Miss Jiang, you can make the decision."

Jiang Yuning breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, Fu Xicheng didn't hold it against her, otherwise she really wouldn't know what to do.

They strolled around leisurely until they finally found a place they liked to eat. Sitting inside, Fu Xicheng gentlemanly poured Jiang Yuning a glass of hot water.

"Thank you, Mr. Fu."

At this point, Fu Xicheng offered his opinion.

"Miss Jiang, could you please use a different form of address? Don't you find it awkward to keep calling me 'Mr. Fu' and 'Miss Jiang'?"

Jiang Yuning rested her chin on her hand, indicating her agreement with what he said, "That's true to some extent."

“Then,” Fu Xicheng paused slightly, his voice very soft, “Jiang Yuning, may I call you that?”

Jiang Yuning's expression was blank. She felt that her attitude towards Fu Xicheng was a little different from her attitude towards others.

She nodded and changed her address, "Mr. Fu... Fu Xicheng."

Hearing Jiang Yuning call his name, Fu Xicheng's elegant face rippled with a slight smile.

Fu Xicheng's smile was incredibly charming. Jiang Yuning glanced at him, then guiltily turned her gaze to the menu. Her heart had been pounding so fast, it felt like it was about to jump out of her chest.

"Miss Jiang, no, Jiang Yuning, your face is red again. Is it really that hot today?"
