Chapter 685 You want us to fight the Titans?
Click-clack, click-clack.
The sounds of gnawing echoed incessantly within the brass fortress, and the projections of the gods once again converged in the Blood God's domain.
Apart from Tzeentch, all the gods were holding something and gnawing on it.
The Blood God is a handful of crimson blood, the filthy is a pot of boiling soup, Zhou Yun is a dorayaki, and Slaanesh is a stick.
These are all small fragments of concepts they carved out from the realm of the cunning and treacherous during the recent chaos.
The crimson blood symbolizes the randomness of war, the bubbling broth symbolizes the ever-changing nature of life, the dorayaki symbolizes curiosity, and one symbolizes an unexpected pregnancy.

Tzeentch's projection now showed a bruised and swollen face, symbolizing the considerable price he had paid in the recent battle.
Khorne, Slaanesh, and Nurgle were initially in a state of slight hesitation.

Tzeentch's cunning trick led the Hive Will to consume the Blood Stack. While they believed this to be largely true, they ultimately lacked concrete evidence and were unwilling to act rashly.
But when Zhou Yun made his move, Tzeentch's damned beak was still clamoring that "this is all part of the plan," which was a provocation to the gods. They were enraged and joined forces to help Zhou Yun, tearing away a lot of territory that once belonged to Tzeentch.

In just a few bites, Zhou Yun swallowed the part about curiosity.

He was able to shift the blame onto Tzeentch this time thanks to the Shapeshifter.
The realm of the gods is rife with contradictions, such as Nurgle's cycle of life, death, and decay; Slaanesh's lust and love; and the Blood God's courage and indiscriminate killing. But the deepest contradictions belong to Tzeentch, or rather, contradictions are an integral part of Tzeentch's being.
This inherent contradiction leads Tzeentch to a tendency towards self-separation; he cannot allow himself to become too powerful, cannot allow himself to know everything about the past and future, and cannot allow his schemes to go undetected.
This led to the shattering of Tzeentch's scepter, the separation of the Well of Eternity, and the birth of the Alterac Valley, reducing Tzeentch, originally the most powerful being in the Warp, to his current state.

In a sense, the Shapeshifter is a part of Tzeentch. Zhou Yun used a tool to alter the Shapeshifter's memories, making it forget its original existence, which is equivalent to making Tzeentch forget the Shapeshifter itself.
Meanwhile, Tzeentch had secretly placed the Altered Spirit into the Lion's Dream, attempting to corrupt Lionheart undetected and create another demonic Primarch for himself. Therefore, the Altered Spirit's movements were kept secret from the other three gods, who were unaware that the Altered Spirit had been captured by the Emperor and fallen into Zhou Yun's hands.
The traces left by the altered spirits were seen by the gods as those left by Tzeentch. Coupled with Tzeentch's reputation, even Tzeentch himself instinctively suspected that he was the one who did it.

"Did I really do it?" Tzeentch asked, slightly confused and bewildered.

"Could it be me who did it?" Zhou Yun glanced at Jian Qi and asked coldly.

“That might be what I did,” Tzeentch said after a moment’s thought.

Ultimately, Tzeentch wasn't without his share of grand schemes that he himself had forgotten about.

Anyway, everything is going according to plan.
“The situation is now clear: we must stop the coming of the Lord of Greed’s Dissolution. The cursed cannot bear the burden of the next realm,” Slaanesh said with a slightly somber tone.

He had already secretly reached an agreement with Tzeentch, but unexpectedly Tzeentch went his own way and caused this mess.

Slaanesh now harbors considerable resentment.

But even Slaanesh had to admit that Tzeentch had played a brilliant move.
"The will of the hive, the shadow of the warp. It has the potential to be on par with us, but it is also completely different from us."

"He relied on the mindless swarms of the material universe, from which He rose, integrated them, and connected with them."

"For our demonic army to harm him, they would have to enter the real universe and step into the realm of His shadow, which is far too difficult for our demons."

Slaanesh said in a low voice, glancing at Zhou Yun:

"You possess the greatest control over the Primarchs, the physical body of the material universe, and the power to command humans, space necromancers, and Eldar. Only you can do that."

"No time, busy fighting the Tau aliens." Zhou Yun interrupted Slaanesh:

"You know, the Tau are a very dangerous race."

"Their strength is comparable to the Blood God, their cunning to Tzeentch, their biotechnology to Nurgle, their mechanical skills to me, and their allure to Slaanesh."

"Their invasion is simply the greatest crisis humanity has ever faced."

“Every night after the massive invasion of Alteramar by the Tau people, I would wake up in a fright, as if I saw the War of Heaven revive, as if I saw the destiny of the galaxy burning again. If we were not careful, we humans might be wiped out by the Tau people.”

"Compared to the Tau people, the threat of the Dark Lord and the Eternal Dragon is simply insignificant."

"..." The gods cast strange glances at Zhou Yun.

“If you hadn’t said you were from the Titans, I would have thought the Ancient One had been resurrected,” Tzeentch cackled twice.

“The Ancient Saint is like a little girl in the Titanium Empire,” Zhou Yun said without changing his expression.

"Now is the time for us five from the subspace to work together. Don't worry, although you are the main force, we will also do our best to help you from behind," Slaanesh said sincerely to Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun merely gave a slight, cold laugh, revealing a look of distrust.
Zhou Yun did indeed intend to fight against the Tyranid swarm and seize the Greedy Dissolve in the process, but he couldn't make it too obvious and reveal his intentions.
Furthermore, although the gods verbally professed to work together, Zhou Yun knew that these creatures were essentially insects. While they wouldn't openly hinder him, they would undoubtedly engage in underhanded tactics, attempting to take advantage of the situation and carve out a piece of his flesh.

More importantly, by keeping a close watch on Zhou Yun, they might discover the true nature of his plan ahead of time.
Zhou Yun hoped to find something to distract them and weaken them as much as possible.
"My demands are not many. If we are to fight the Tyranid swarm, the defenses of Alteramar will inevitably be weakened."

"And since I stepped forward to fight against Tyrion, you should at least offer some tangible compensation, right?"

As he spoke, several contracts flew before the gods.
Tracy glanced at the contract; its contents were very simple.
The gods must grant Zhou Yun and his companions a portion of their domains; Tzeentch must relinquish more of his domain of curiosity; Slaanesh must relinquish some of his domain of inquisitiveness; Khorne will grant them weapons of war; and Nurgle will grant them biological weapons.

Furthermore, the demonic army of the gods must also assist Zhou Yun in protecting the borders of the human empire's Alteramar region.
"You want us to fight the Titans?"
