Chapter 667 Fabius Bayer
"What have you brought to this galaxy, anyway?!" Saint Gilles couldn't help but ask.

“It must be love and peace!” Zhou Yun replied with a smile. “You know, I have great love for all living beings in the Milky Way.”

Saint Gilles was silent for a moment, then couldn't help but reach up and rub his forehead.
Zhou Yun differs from the Emperor in this respect. The Emperor's attitude towards aliens is simply "kill," while Zhou Yun is much more tolerant.
Whether they are Eldar or Necromancers, Zhou Yun can claim they are subspecies of humanity.
If it weren't for the inexplicable Iron Man Rebellion currently plaguing the Tau Empire, the inexplicable malfunctions of many ancestral cores of the Wotan Alliance, the increasingly out-of-control experiments of the Comorian Bloodlings, and various other alien races experiencing their own internal problems, Sanguis might actually believe that Zhou Yun has a great love for all life in the galaxy.

Saint Gilles gently lowered his fingers from Zhou Yun's forehead and looked at him again.
He visited this domain because he had recently noticed that the domain of malevolent arts was no longer chaotic but had become calm and orderly, clearly indicating that Zhou Yun had completed the construction of the entire domain.
Then, an idea popped into Saint Gilles' mind, urging him to go and check on Zhou Yun's condition in that area.
In retrospect, this was an inspiration that Zhou Yun planted in Saint Gilles' mind, which was used to summon Saint Gilles.

"So?" Saint Gilles asked, wanting to know Zhou Yun's purpose in summoning him.

“Fabius Bayer is seeking new support. This old Chinese medicine doctor has encountered a bottleneck in his research on the new humans, and he is trying to steal the Source Blood Stack from Caul.”

"If he succeeds, he might actually be able to create a new type of human whose physical capabilities are close to those of the Primarch."

Zhou Yun, while munching on a dorayaki, said to Saint Gilles:

“This is not the most dangerous thing. More important than the new humans is Fabius Bayer himself.”

"Back then, the Luna Gene Cult stole some power from the subspace and created the Blight Disease, which parasitized the Emperor's Son."

"Six or seven tenths of the power used to create the wilt disease came from greedy dissolution, and a small portion came from vicious techniques; it was an unborn larva of a minor god."

"For ten thousand years, the seed has been frantically absorbing Fabius Bayer's life force and creativity, and has already taken initial shape, transforming into a silkworm pupa."

"And the new humans created by Fabius Bayer worshipped him as their creator, believed in him, and adored him, thus nourishing him as well."

"If he were to create a new human that is close to the original's performance and can reproduce freely, then he would emerge from his cocoon and ascend to become a lesser god, becoming one of the competitors in the field of Greed Dissolution."

Saint Gilles's expression darkened slightly.
He also sensed it.

His prophetic abilities allowed him to hear the sharp chirping of insects coming from the near future.
He saw a tattered cocoon, and saw withered butterflies and spiders emerge from it, rising into the subspace surrounded by hordes of bizarre creatures. Then they began to lay eggs, reproduce, and give birth to even more deformed beings.
It turned out to be Fabius Bayer.

Saint Gilles knew that Zhou Yun was plotting to acquire the Greed Dissolution Domain, and clearly Fabius Bayer's actions were blocking Zhou Yun's path.
"Do you need me to get rid of him?" Saint Gilles asked softly.

“No.” Zhou Yun smiled and shook his head: “It was I who facilitated Fabius Bayer’s breakthrough in research on new humans. Obtaining the Source Blood Stack would enable the successful creation of new humans. It was also the inspiration I planted in him.”

Saint Gilles raised his eyebrows slightly, seemingly understanding what Zhou Yun wanted to do.

“Fabius Bayer is the bait I’ve been cultivating; I want him to swallow the Source Blood Stack.”

"Of course, this needs to be done in a natural and clever way, so that he goes through many hardships before finally consuming the Source Blood Stack."

"Let Fugan stop him. You, Guilliman, and Lane should stay out of this."

After finishing a dorayaki, Zhou Yun took another one out of his pocket and said.

“Then you’ll have to find us something to do, something to slow us down, otherwise it’ll be too obvious,” Saint Gilles said, nodding.

"The Tau Empire is currently experiencing an Iron Man rebellion, and internally it can be described as a vibrant and thriving place, but the Tau Empire will eventually quell the Iron Man rebellion."

"But this is not because they have actually won. Rather, the AIs will dive beneath the surface and hide, after which they will lose all their AI technology, production will be severely damaged, resources will be insufficient to meet demand, and living conditions at all levels within the organization will rapidly decline."

"Hidden artificial intelligence will further inflame social conflicts and the conflicts between different castes and races, making the internal conflicts of the Tau Empire even more intense."

"Soon, an idea will pop into the minds of some of the Tau people: since the internal situation is in chaos, why not shift the conflict outwards?"

"Hidden artificial intelligence will work in tandem with their inspiration, creating a suitable social atmosphere among them, and pushing the Tau Empire to wager its national destiny in a full-scale war against Alteramar."

So that's what they were waiting for! Saint Gilles suddenly understood why the Iron Man rebellion within the Tau Empire had been escalating but hadn't erupted into a full-blown conflict: it was to give the Tau Empire an opportunity to divert its internal conflicts outwards.

“But that’s not enough.” Sanguires shook his head and said, “The Tau Empire is not worth the efforts of three Primarchs.”

"Khorne will be involved, and I have found a new chosen one for him. The tide of the Blood God will stir up the entire war."

"And the Greenskins, such a grand war will also attract the attention of the Bonebreakers, and the Green Tide will stir up the entire battlefield."

Blood God Saint Gilles's gaze shifted slightly, his eyes showing a hint of surprise as he looked at Zhou Yun.
He never expected that Zhou Yun would actually control the Blood God and involve him in his plan.

"The three of you will be temporarily held back by this chaotic fight, while Fabius Bayer will seize the opportunity to secretly, inconspicuously, and naturally begin to act."

"Fabius will certainly encounter obstacles, but he will eventually obtain the Blood Stack through his own efforts. What an inspiring struggle!"

"Then, a big fish will swallow it whole."

Fabius Bayer was certain that he had arrived silently and that no one would have noticed him.
His clones are now moving through the galaxy in his place, drawing the attention of the stars so he can operate in the shadows.

Fabius Bayer himself, without attracting any attention, arrived at this planet hidden in the subspace.

This is the vacation world belonging to the leader of the Phoenix Order. Fabius Bayer knows the location of this world entirely because the technology required to design this planet was his creation.
Bayer's boots stepped on the delicate skin of the young girl, leaving a few scratches.

As soon as Bayer took a step forward, a swarm of tiny spiders crawled out from under the girl's torn skin, tearing off the piece before burrowing back into the hole beneath. A sharp, piercing scream escaped the girl's lips. The tiny spiders quickly replaced the missing piece with a freshly peeled piece of skin.

Fabius Bayer didn't pay much attention to this.

The surface of this tiny vacation planet is entirely composed of a young girl's delicate skin. If even the slightest damage occurs, tiny spiders will burrow into the tunnels inside the planet that house the humans, peel off a new piece of the girl's skin to fill the gap, and maintain its absolute perfection.
Those delicate young girls, specifically chosen for producing skin in the underground tunnels, were a human subspecies specially designed by Fabius Bayer.
Fabius strolled across the planet and soon spotted the person he was looking for.

In fact, Fabius Bayer didn't even want to be called a person.
He was so ugly, so twisted, so grotesque, like a mockery of the legion's former glory.
He was the emperor's son, with only half of his hair remaining white. His fat, wrinkled face held both pain and excitement. Following the contours of his pale, grotesque face, one could see the snake-like stitches on his neck.

That was the work of Fabius Bayer.
Fabius still remembers what happened back then.
This arrogant fool provoked and questioned Forgrim, so Forgrim beheaded him with a single stroke, dragged his head onto the Victory Wine, and drank it down, the mixture of blood and strong liquor.

But he had once been favored by Forgrim, and Forgrim regretted killing him, so he ordered Fabius Bayer to sew his head back onto his body.
Fabius Bayer succeeded; Vograim's swordsmanship was so swift and sharp that the wound was smooth enough to be stitched up.

Fabius was certain his craftsmanship was flawless, but for some reason, after his resurrection, he became increasingly deformed, twisted, and grotesque, becoming strange and terrifying, and constantly living in a state of alternating pain and ecstasy, to the point that even Fabius Bayer was reluctant to see him.

If it weren't for the Bloodline Stack, Bayer really wouldn't have wanted to visit him.
“Lord Commander,” Fabius addressed him using his former military rank.

Adoron, the former lord and commander of the Sons of the Emperor, and the foremost figure below the Primarch of the Sons of the Emperor during the Great Rebellion, slightly raised his eyes, which were filled with both hunger and pain.

Beside him, a young girl whose skin had been peeled off was pouring potent drugs into a cup made of gold and jade in front of Aidoron.
The girl's senses had been altered; the slightest breeze or movement would cause her skinned body to experience extreme pain.

The faint air currents generated when Fabius Bayer spoke landed on her, causing her to stiffen and freeze in mid-air.

Bang! ! ! !

Aidoron smashed her body with a single punch, turning her into a bloody mess that splattered on the ground.

Beside her, another skinned girl rushed over to collect the remains and wipe the blood splattered on the ground.

“Quack doctor, who gave you permission to visit my territory without my invitation?” Aidoron raised his pale eyes, staring at Fabius Bayer like a pale maggot.

"Let me check my work," Fabius said with a chuckle, his gaze sweeping over the skinned girl.

He completely followed Edoron's requirements when modifying them: they could survive after being skinned, reproduce singly, and have delicate skin.
“It looks like it’s working well.” Fabius’s gaze shifted from the girl to Edoron. “But you don’t look so good.”

Aidoron's fingers crushed the cup between his fingertips, and anger rose on his grotesque face: "Whose fault do you think this is?"

"Fabius, are you seeking death and torment here?"

Anyway, it wasn't my fault. Fabius Bayer thought to himself, to be honest, the changes in Edoron were unexpected by Fabius.

Fabius resurrected him and reshaped him, but he has become so bizarre that even Fabius cannot understand him.

But he's also become more dangerous than ever before; it's truly bizarre.
“No matter whose fault it is, we can make amends to them as long as you help me get one thing,” Fabius said with a forced smile.

"What?" Edoron frowned, full of doubt, but he was still intrigued when he heard that Fabius had a way to cure him.
“The wisdom of the Emperor, the blood of all Primarchs,” Fabius Bayer said with a smile, “The Blood Stack, I need your help to seize it.”

"Once I acquire the wisdom within, I can find a way to reshape your body and make you a brand new human being."

When Bayer mentioned the word "Emperor," the skinless girl wiping the floor next to Aidoron slowed her movements for a moment.
But neither Edoron nor Fabius Bayer paid much attention to the girl.

Edoron stared intently at Fabius Bayer for a while, seemingly trying to glean some truth from the spider's face.
After a moment, Aidoron slowly spoke, "I can help you, and I can also tell you that you can win over an ally."

“Oh?” Fabius raised an eyebrow.

“There is someone looking for you, and he also needs your healing,” Edoron said with a sneer. “He came to me and asked if I knew your whereabouts.”

"Who is it?" Fabius asked curiously.

"The son of Horus, our beloved Black Warmaster—no, he should now be called the Black Hellbeast."

“Abaddon, Abaddon wants you to heal him and free him from the cage of the hell beast.”

Upon hearing this, Fabius's smile widened even further.

While Fabius and Edoron were unaware, the skinless girl gathered the remains of her kin and slipped back into the tunnels within the planet.
The girl crawled forward through the tunnel until she finally entered a spacious cavern.

In the center of the cave stood a statue made of flesh and blood. The girl piled the flesh and blood of her kinsmen upon the statue, then knelt devoutly before it, her hands clumsily forming the shape of an eagle.

"Lord of Humanity, Emperor Above"

The flesh-and-blood statue looked down at the girl, its empty eyes staring at her like two dark suns, their depths filled with a destructive tendency.
"Oh, right." Zhou Yun finished his dorayaki and suddenly looked up at Saint Gilles and said, "I need your help with something."

"Oh?" Saint Gilles showed a hint of curiosity.

"I want the Black Sword, Sigismund's Black Sword. Help me collect all the Black Swords in the hands of the Black Templar."
