Chapter 561 Anlakel: Tarasin, you son of a fraudster, where the hell are you?!

Chapter 561 Anlakel: Tarasin, you son of a fraudster, where the hell are you?!

Gabriel Angelos, the Chapter Master of the Blood Ravens, appeared in the Relic Vault amidst a roaring beam of teleportation light, wielding the relic hammer known as the Godbreaker.
Among the Blood Raven family's heirlooms is a Terminator psionic teleportation beacon and some of its accompanying teleporters from the Great Crusade era. As long as this teleporter is installed on a Terminator, the Terminator can be instantly teleported back to the beacon's location, no matter where it is, as long as it is in the same star system as the beacon.

Naturally, this beacon was placed in the most important place for the Blood Ravens—their relic treasury.
If the Vault of Relics is invaded, the Blood Raven Chapter Masters and Terminator units can instantly teleport back to the Vault of Relics.

Gabriel Angelos and the Terminators behind him simultaneously unleashed a terrifying battle cry.

Gabriel Angelos charged ahead like a crimson chariot, hurtling towards the nearest undead overlord—the traveler Anlakel.
Anlakel snorted coldly, his dark blue scythe slashing in an arc towards Gabriel's exposed head.

The necromantic energy field on the scythe roared; this scythe, exclusively belonging to Anlakel, could almost instantly cleave through terracotta, cut through adamantite, and even radiant gold.
But when Allakel swung his scythe, it was blocked.

Anlakel watched in astonishment as a thick force field enveloped Gabriel, forcefully blocking Anlakel's war scythe.

The force field originated from the ancient iron halo behind Gabriel's head. The iron halo was unusually large and did not seem to be intended for use by Astartes.

The fact that human technology had actually blocked the necromancer's scythe stunned Anlakel for a moment.

Gabriel Angelos didn't let this fleeting opportunity pass; the Godslayer's Warhammer slammed straight into Anlakel's chest.
The energy burst, like lightning, instantly forced Anlakel back several steps, even tearing his silvery body apart and leaving ugly gashes.

But Anlakel's wounds were healed almost instantly by the living metal.

"Humans! I had no intention of stealing your things. I was just helping Tarachin recover his belongings. If you have a grudge, go find—huh? Tarachin!! You fraudster's son!! Where have you been!!!"

Allakel suddenly discovered that Tarasim had vanished without a trace, leaving only him and the swordsman inside the relic vault.

Gabriel didn't give Anlakel a chance to explain. He threw down the Godbreaker Warhammer in his hand and grabbed a rather worn-out, triangular, rusty sword from the Blood Raven's collection.
He moved with lightning speed, slashing a gash across Allaqar's body with the blade of his sword.

"It's no use, human. My body is made of living metal; it's not so easily damaged."

"I've worked with Dante, the Chapter Master of the Holy Blood Angels, we—fuck!!"

Before Allakel could finish speaking, he discovered that his wounds were not healing, but the living metal near the wounds was decaying and rusting.

That seemingly old and rusty sword is clearly problematic!
"Get out of the way, Allakel!" the swordsman's voice rang out suddenly as he charged forward, blade in hand.

The Blood Raven Terminators instantly raised their weapons and unleashed a barrage of fire upon the swordsman.

But the swordsman's speed was beyond common sense; he moved through the hail of bullets like a feather, yet remained untouched by a single spark.

Even if a bullet were to hit him by chance, he would easily slice it off or deflect it with the sharp blade in his hand.

In the blink of an eye, the swordsman bypassed Anlakel and arrived in front of Gabriel.
Gabriel barely had time to react before the sharp blade swung down towards him.

Bang! ! ! !

The energy field generated by the iron halo behind Gabriel roared and shook, almost making Gabriel think that the energy field was about to collapse, but in the end he still managed to barely block the sword.

This surprised the swordsman; he hadn't expected Gabriel's iron halo to be so powerful as to block his sword. His gaze fell on the iron halo behind Gabriel, and he vaguely felt he had seen that iron halo before.
He saw that iron halo in his somewhat unclear and fragmented memories.
"This is the Iron Halo that Vulcan forged himself? How did it end up in your hands? Are you Vulcan's son? No, the skin color is wrong!" the swordsman said with slight surprise.

"It's a family heirloom of the Blood Ravens!!" Gabriel roared, swinging his rusty sword at the swordsman.

The iron halo behind Gabriel is a sacred relic passed down through the Blood Raven family, a technology from an unknown Primarch. Perhaps, as this guy in front of him says, it comes from the Salamander Primarch Vulcan?

The swordsman deftly swung his blade, deflecting Gabriel's all-out attack.
But afterwards, the swordsman noticed that the blade of his sword was rapidly rusting and corroding.
"It's very dangerous to just pick up an enemy's weapon and use it, as it contains the power of stagnant decay," the swordsman said in a warning tone.

This decaying blade came from a Nurgle demon, and the swordsman wasn't without reason; using this weapon was indeed very dangerous.

Because it not only corrodes anything the blade touches, but the user himself will also be affected by the diseases it contains. Even the strongest Astartes will reach their limit after seven minutes of use, and there is a high risk of corruption if they use it any longer.

However, Blood Raven possesses unique techniques for utilizing this resource, and has stored a portion of a degraded version of the Panacea in its relic treasury.
These degraded panaceas are the failed attempts of a group of scientific priests to create panaceas without STC. They have most of the effects of regular panaceas, including immunity to diseases, toxins and poisons, and amazing regenerative abilities, but their effects are weaker than those of real panaceas, and their duration is limited. Furthermore, if a mortal were to inject them, they would die immediately from the effects of the drug.

However, Gabriel doesn't have the opportunity to use that degraded panacea now.
He withstood the corrosive effects of the decaying blade, slashing at the tall, unidentified figure before him. The swordsman, though unarmed, remained calm, nimbly shifting his body, retreating and dodging Gabriel's attacks.

His movements were truly elegant to the extreme; Gabriel's series of sword swings didn't even touch the edge of his cloak.

In fact, each time Gabriel's sword fell, it grazed the swordsman's cloak by the slightest margin, as if the swordsman had calculated it perfectly.
This is simply toying with Gabriel.

"My lord! Use this hammer!" a Blood Raven Terminator roared, grabbing a huge, crimson hammer and throwing it at Gabriel.

The swordsman did not stop them; instead, he watched the scene with great interest.
Gabriel tossed aside his decaying blade and caught the crimson warhammer with both hands.

The moment Gabriel grasped the brass handle of the warhammer, a fierce fire ignited in his eyes.

An uncontrollable rage surged from the hammer, nearly engulfing Gabriel.
"The Emperor's enemies still exist, we will never have peace!" A low growl filled with rage came from Gabriel's mouth.
This warhammer came from the former chief archdemon Skabrand of Khorne, and contains Skabrand's undying rage.

Gabriel only managed to keep him under control by relying on his loyalty to the Emperor, and then wielded his warhammer to kill the hooded man in front of him.

The swordsman nimbly dodged again, but the warhammer hit the ground, creating a shockwave mixed with sulfurous sparks that engulfed the swordsman as well.

The swordsman barely managed to keep his cloak from being blown off by reaching out his hand.

"I told you, don't use the enemy's weapons." The swordsman paused slightly, retreating to dodge Gabriel's attack, and was now back against the wall, next to the Broken Forge Warhammer.

The swordsman gently placed his hand on the furnace breaker.
"Get your filthy hands off me!" Gabriel Angelos roared, his face contorted in rage. "Don't defile the sacred relic passed down through our chapters!"

"An ancestral relic? Is the Broken Furnace your ancestral relic?"

The swordsman's tone rose slightly, as if he found it quite amusing:

"Are you perhaps the offspring of one of my loyalists? No, it doesn't seem like it."

"...Or is he a descendant of Feralus? It doesn't seem like it."

"Could it be the Iron Warrior? A descendant of Peturabo?"

"We Blood Ravens have been the pure children of Saint Gilles since ancient times!!!"

Faced with the baseless slander from the Blood Ravens, Gabriel Angelos roared in retaliation, smashing his Skabrand Hammer toward the swordsman's head.

The swordsman dodged, simultaneously taking down the Forgebreaker's warhammer hanging on the wall.
With a sharp crack, the Forgebreaker's Warhammer instantly ignited in the swordsman's hand.

The warhammer, once forged by Primarch Vorgrim and gifted to Feralus Manus, roared as it crashed down upon Gabriel Angelos.

The iron halo from Vulcan roared fiercely, unleashing its full force field to block the attack, but—

Bang! ! ! ! !
For the first time since Blood Raven's records began, the Iron Halo's defenses were shattered in a single blow. Even though the Iron Halo had dissipated most of its power, the Forgebreaker's Warhammer was still unstoppable, smashing Gabriel Angelos away.

Gabriel Angelos crashed to the ground, creating a deep crater. The terracotta armor on his chest shattered, along with his ribs.
He spat out a mouthful of blood, and the Skabrand Hammer fell to the distance. After detaching from the warhammer, his anger quickly subsided, and Gabriel's mind gradually cleared.
“He… he actually activated the Forgebreaker.” Gabriel murmured in disbelief. It was a warhammer that one Primarch had forged and given to another Primarch as his primary weapon. It was like the Spear of Bigong placed in San Gilles, the Spear of Dionysus placed in Lemanrus, and the Fist of Domination placed in Guilliman. How could it be activated so easily?

For decades since Blood Raven acquired this warhammer, he had never been able to tame the rampaging machine spirit within it. Yet, the swordsman merely picked up the Broken Forge, and the Broken Forge obediently submitted.
Recalling what the swordsman had just said, Gabriel had a horrifying guess in his mind.
"You are...you are..." Gabriel gasped for breath, watching the swordsman wielding the broken furnace approach step by step: "You are Fu..."

"Shh!" The swordsman gently raised a finger to his lips and whispered, "Don't say that name, he'll hear you."

Gabriel stared intently at him, eyes wide, but the swordsman merely smiled faintly.

"May I tell you your name?"

Just then, the sound of a door opening rang out, followed by a voice as clear as a sacred bell:
“Forgon, Fugram, my brother. Or rather, a copy of my brother.”
