Chapter 541 Tarachin: This is outrageous! They've stolen from me!

On the flagship Voidwalker of the space necromancer Anlakel,

The former necromancer's vehicle was now in a complete mess.
However, the one who suffered the greatest loss was not Anlakel himself, because the part of the ship that was attacked was the one he had arranged for another undead overlord, Talazin the Endless.

This endless Talazin, ruler of the Nihilak dynasty, who proclaims himself the preserver of the galaxy's history, artifacts, and events, and is a notorious thief and bandit, is traveling with Allakel.
This is because Allakel himself has undergone some strange changes.

As a space necromancer, he has no soul, merely a reflection of fragmented memories, a cold, metallic machine. Everything before Anlakel is cold, pale, and devoid of any sensory experience; only the obsessions lingering in his past memories can bring him a false sense of satisfaction.
But after leaving the Hades system, Anlakel inadvertently looked up at the starry sky before her.

He suddenly realized how beautiful and magnificent this constellation of stars was.

A fragile but clear spark, a spark of existence, suddenly burst forth from his cold body.
For the first time, he felt as if he were wandering through the galaxy, constantly trying to restore the former glory of the undead, not because of past obsessions, but because he enjoyed it in the present.

That spark was fragile and fleeting, but Alla'kel treasured it and thirstily hoped to obtain more.
But he himself couldn't grasp the origin of this spark, nor could he study them.
One reason was that he was accompanied by the Silent King's Triune Guard. Those guys were the Silent King's agents; to put it bluntly, they were responsible for protecting Anlakel, the important former overlord of the undead; to put it less bluntly, they were monitoring Anlakel. Anlakel didn't really trust the Silent King, so he had to find a way to get rid of them first.
Another reason is that Anlakel wasn't considered a particularly knowledgeable person among the undead. He excelled at operating machines, commanding troops, and engaging in diplomacy, but he wasn't good at researching and organizing knowledge. Therefore, Anlakel approached Tarasim.
One reason was that Tarachin wouldn't easily arouse suspicion from the Trinity; another reason was that although Tarachin was a thief, he did possess considerable knowledge.
Tal Rashin used some kind of device to create a time loop, temporarily trapping the Trinity within it and making them mistakenly believe that Alla'kel was also trapped in Tal Rashin's time labyrinth like them.
Then Talasi and Anlakhar began their investigation in the void.
Meanwhile, Talazin also built a simple museum on the Voidwalker, displaying some of the artifacts he had brought with him, as well as those he had collected along the way, and opening it to the undead he encountered on the ship and along the route.
Of course, neither the undead on the ship nor along the way were interested in this thing. On the contrary, that bastard Tarasim, whenever he saw something precious that could fill his museum, couldn't resist his thieving hands and secretly took it away.

This caused them to offend many people and face numerous assassination attempts, which actually reduced the efficiency of their operations.

Fortunately, Tarahim has now received his just deserts.

His museum was looted.

Allaqar chuckled as he watched Tarasin's figure standing in the empty museum, where he appeared exceptionally lonely.

"This is outrageous!!! They actually stole from me!! This is outrageous!!!" Tarasin said angrily.

He heard Allakel's laughter, turned around abruptly, and demanded, "Is this the security you promised?!"

Allakel couldn't help but laugh even louder.
But out of ancient custom, Allaqar explained to Tarasim:

“The Astartes appeared suddenly, and their movements were very swift and skillful; it was clearly not the first time they had done something like this.”

"And most of my troops were used to deal with the Mefort dynasty forces that you provoked."

"Why did you have to steal Zarasuza's Star Flame from the Underworld?"

"That's a precious artifact!!" Tarasin stomped his feet in anger. "You told me about the War of the Underworld yourself. What a memorable war it was! Starfire is a souvenir of that war, and I must protect it from that idiot Zarasuza's defilement!"

"Tell me! Those damned Astartes dared to steal my things! I'll get my revenge!!!"

Allakel sneered.
He was actually a little angry at first.
It wasn't because he was attacked by the Astartes. After all, humans and the undead have no alliance; they are often enemies, and battles between enemies are perfectly normal. If they had stolen undead property, Anlakel would have been angry, but they stole Talazin's. Many of Talazin's belongings weren't even undead property; the thief had stolen them from elsewhere.
His real anger stemmed from the fact that he noticed the Astartes' power armor was dark red, and that the chapter's insignia resembled that of the Blood Angels.

He, Allakel, had once cooperated with Dante, the Chapter Master of the Blood Angels, and he even believed that there was a bond of camaraderie between them.
If it was indeed the Holy Blood Angel who attacked him, then in his eyes it was nothing short of betrayal.

But Anlakel soon discovered that the Astartes did not resemble the Blood Angels. Although their emblems somewhat resembled those of the Blood Angels, a closer look revealed they were not the same.

The Holy Blood Angel is a pair of pure white wings beside the Holy Blood, while the Thief is a jet-black raven.

However, Anlakhar did not intend to tell Tarahim this, so that he could spend time taking revenge.

"Are you still going to waste your time?" Anlakel asked Tarasin. "Have we made any progress so far? Apart from suspecting that the changes in me are related to that Saint Doraemon, there has been no progress at all."

"Where are we going to find a Void God? In the non-material realm?" Talasi scoffed and retorted.

“Perhaps I shouldn’t rely on you, perhaps I should try going to the Silent King,” Anlakel said coldly.

But after saying that, even Anlakel himself couldn't hold back and shook his head repeatedly.
Tarasin laughed out loud; Allaqar's threat was like a brilliant lame joke.

“This sentence could be added to the collection of space necromancy jokes,” Tarachin solemnly commented. “If you want me to believe in the Silent King, I would rather loudly praise the Emperor of Man right now, or even believe in Sigaki than believe in the Silent King.”

This is one of the few points where Allahkal and Talasi can agree: the Silent King is a pile of shit from a fart demon, and they don't trust him.

The last time they trusted the Silent King, they lost both flesh and soul, leaving only fragmented memories and this cold skeleton.
If I were to trust the Silent King again, I fear I might not even be able to keep the little bit of living metal I have.

“Perhaps we can cooperate with humans. I still have some connections within the human empire.” After thinking for a moment, Tarasim realized that praising the human emperor seemed to actually work; they could potentially reach some cooperation agreements with humans.

"That's their new god, would they let us see him so easily?" Allakel retorted.

“Perhaps we can make some deals with them, pay some price in exchange for their help,” Tarasin murmured thoughtfully.

"What price do you deserve to be seen by a god? What do you intend to offer?" Allakel seemed to find it a little amusing.

"I plan to take it out."

Tarasin slowly spoke to Allah Kael:
".A genetic prototype."
