Chapter 352: Abaddon is in trouble this year
Chapter 352: Abaddon is in trouble this year
The Emperor's Song may seem barely perceptible, but it is actually gathering strength.
On the top of the almost closed metal tower, Ratard As Kelaplin, the head of the Star Speaker Court and one of the twelve high lords of Terra, was staring at the fragmented sky.
This is an extremely dangerous act, because the Great Rift has already opened in the sky. If the Inquisition finds out, they might try to conduct a secret, private, and illegal investigation without the knowledge of Kerap.
However, Kelaplin had gotten used to it. He was not very popular among his colleagues, but now the representative of the Inquisition, Ms. Ers, who came from the Demon Inquisition, was very polite to him.
After all, Kelaplin himself knew that he was always unhappy and often brought some inappropriate predictions and news to everyone.
As an Astropath, he was bound to the Emperor's psychic energy. The smallest fraction of the Lord of Mankind's power was far beyond what a mortal body could bear. The process of being bound to the Emperor's psychic energy permanently altered Kaelaprin's visual nerves, making it almost impossible for him to see the world with his own eyes.
But Kaelaplin could see more because of this, and he often saw those ominous and cursed scenes.
But the power of the Emperor protected his mind from corruption, allowing him to know a lot of information.
It was he who secretly pushed the Emperor's Chancellor Tyrion to start pushing the Custodians to support Cadia before the attack on Cadia, but unfortunately it was not successful in the end.
However, during the days when the Star Torch was extinguished and the Day of Blindness came, Kaylaplin was surprised to find that he had become the most optimistic one.
Perhaps it was because Kaelaprin could clearly sense that the Emperor's Song had not dissipated, but was accumulating strength, waiting for its climax.
Moreover, he could see with his eyes that hope was burning.
The Grey Knights' prophetic powers are working, and they are heading to the moon, and Kaelaprin has convinced Inquisitor Delegate Ers to suppress those who doubt the Grey Knights' actions.
The Sisters were also taking action. Although Tyrian was frightened to the point of having a heart attack, under the guarantee of Mother Superior Morwen, Lady Ers, and Kaylaprin, she was still willing to mobilize resources to prepare for the actions of the Guards, Sisters of Silence, and Sisters of Battle, and concealed it from most of the High Lords.
Well, the Grand Master of the Assassin's Court, Fadix, must have not concealed it. If he were to stand against hope, Kaelaprin could only hope that his old body could still fight him.
"Please stay away from me for now." Kelaplin lowered his head slightly and said to the two untouchables behind him.
The two untouchables with anti-psychic talents bowed slightly to Kaylaplin and left the room.
The psychic power of Kaylaprin was able to fill the entire room without restriction. Suddenly, the entire metal tower began to creak.
Cracks also appeared on his shriveled and emaciated body, and huge spiritual energy flowed out uncontrollably.
Kaelaprin is almost the strongest mortal psyker on Terra. Even those grotesque creatures within the Inquisition that no longer have human form are no match for him.
However, as he got older, his spiritual power continued to increase, but his body became weaker and weaker, to the point where he could no longer contain his spiritual power.
If a mortal stood in the same room with him, it would only take a moment for them to be shattered by the overflowing psychic energy of Kaelaprin, so he usually could only carry two Untouchables with him to suppress his overflowing psychic energy.
However, this is only a temporary solution. As time goes by, Kelapulin's growing psychic power will destroy himself sooner or later.
He often felt that the day of his return to the Golden Throne was approaching.
The sight of the stars was reflected in the blind eyes of Kaelaprin. He saw through the light released by the Great Rift and saw the stars in chaos now.
Since the ancient Chaldeans invented astrology, humans have believed that the direction of the stars is linked to fate. The thread of fate hangs down through the stars and falls on the collarbones of mortals, controlling them to follow the trajectory of fate.
But Kaelaprin knew that the stars were just a medium, just like all divination techniques, including the Emperor Tarot.
True wisdom lies within the Warp, within the will of the Master of Mankind.
"The Scarlet King has begun his actions, and the machinations of the Lord of Change are eroding the remaining domain of the Old Ones."
".The Great Plunderer's star is shaking, almost torn in two, and the seeds of the Plague God are sprouting in his legions."
"Abaddon is in trouble this year!"
"The Seven Killing Stars collide with the sun? It's the Blood God. The Blood God has set his sights on Terra."
Abaddon stared at the giant snail lying in front of the bridge of the Vengeful Spirit. The snail was filled with the blasphemous evil power of the God of Plague.
And on the snail's shell sat a skinny, one-eyed Nurgle demon that looked inconspicuous. The demon was holding a pair of gardening shears and staring at Abaddon.
There was a deathly silence in the air. The demon possessing Kahn took a deep breath.
There was a hint of disdain in Abaddon's eyes.
The Nurgle demon standing in front of him was obviously not a Great Unclean One, but an ordinary Nurgle demon.
Before Abaddon was seriously injured, he would not be afraid even of Kugath. Now that he is seriously injured, the God of Plague actually thinks that an ordinary Nurgle demon can stop him?
He is now seriously injured and his strength has weakened a lot, but he is definitely not someone that an ordinary Nurgle demon can humiliate.
"Hiss, I seem to have an impression of this old demon. I've heard other demons talk about him. What's his name?" The demon possessed by Kahn said while thinking:
"Don't rush me yet, bro. Don't rush me yet."
Abaddon snorted coldly, ignoring the advice of the demon in Kahn, he stood up from the command throne and drew out the magic sword Draconian.
The enemy has already reached the front line, why would Abaddon retreat?
The burning flames of blasphemous psychic energy burned fiercely from Draconian. The demon born from the first murder of mankind awakened and let out a low roar.
Abaddon then leaped high and swung his sword at the ordinary Nurgle demon sitting on the back of the snail.
The distorted human face on the magic sword also cast its gaze towards the location where the sword was pointing.
"Fuck! Garden——" Draconian exclaimed,
Before he could finish his words, the huge garden shears collided with Draconian with extremely exquisite skills.
The sound of metal clashing resounded endlessly, echoing throughout the entire Vengeful Spirit.
As if summoned by this voice, Abaddon felt the wound on his body extending from Sanguinius' body suddenly hurt. The power of Nurgle, the father, seemed to be awakened, and a strong sense of exhaustion swept through Abaddon's body.
The scissors fell suddenly, and Abaddon felt a pain in his arm. His power armor was actually cut open by the seemingly rusty scissors, and the ceramic steel was torn apart. Abaddon's arm was in pain.
He roared and hurriedly distanced himself from the seemingly ordinary Nurgle demon.
"I remember now. This is old man Slimux, the chief gardener of the Garden of Nurgle. He is one of the oldest demons in the entire Warp and the first demon created by the loving Father."
The demon possessing Kahn said as if he had just remembered:
"Most of the things in the Garden of Nurgle were cultivated little by little by him. He enjoys a unique position in the realm of the God of Plague. The reason why he is not a Great Unclean One is because he is so ancient that the concept of Great Unclean did not exist when he was born. His unique title is 'Great Cultivator'."
"But it's strange. Normally, this guy would never leave Nurgle Garden, but the loving father was willing to let him appear."
"It seems that the gentleman has a lot of face, Kahn, let's vote!"
Abaddon was breathing heavily, covering the wound on his shoulder, and his face, which was cut in half by Sanguinius' sword, showed some hideousness.
But before he could open his mouth to speak, the entire Spirit of Vengeance began to shake violently.
The plague zombies, Nurgle demons, and the tiniest fungi, bacteria, and viruses that had been lurking in the dark corners of the Vengeful Spirit suddenly began to move. They twisted their bodies, and skull roses, clumps of witch thorn bushes, layers of rotten meadows, and giant mouth trees grew out of their bodies. These plants that were born in the Garden of Nurgle began to wreak havoc in every corner of the Vengeful Spirit.
It was as if the seeds planted by the wind in the long past had begun to bloom and bear fruit.
Everything centered on Slimux began to shake, and the animals and plants from the Garden of Nurgle began to grow out, as if that space was replaced by a part of the Garden of Nurgle.
In the distance, on top of the pyramid of the Vengeance of Tizca, Sanguinius looked at the Vengeful Spirit in the distance, watching as clusters of giant trees and flowers from the Garden of Nurgle grew inside the Spirit of Vengeance, as if they were moldy.
Magnus sat on an Egyptian-style lounge chair, reading an ancient book.
He glanced at the situation on Abaddon's side.
"Head Gardener Slimux? What price did your new master pay to the God of Plague to gain such great help from him?"
“My new master claims to rely on sincere emotional communication.” Sanguinius smiled and said softly: “If you can drink a pot of thick soup in one breath, the God of Plague will surely favor you.”
Magnus snorted coldly and placed the ancient book on the table beside him. The scarlet body slowly stood up from the recliner, and the gorgeous wings suddenly spread open, with strange runes suspended on them.
"Sanguinius, returning from death is not easy. Why do you seek death again?"
Magnus said coldly:
"But it doesn't matter. I will prove that everything is just as the Lord of Change said: I am the most powerful Primarch."
"Ah? Haha!" The archangel laughed.
