Chapter 24 Illegal Psychic!
At noon the next day, Zhou Yun finally got up from the bed.
He rubbed the dark circles under his eyes, washed his face with recycled water from the pipe, and cheered himself up.
The gang fight last night last night lasted until late at night, with shouting, gunshots and wailing.

But in the end, all that was left was the low wails of the dying.

Zhou Yun rubbed his temples to make himself feel a little more alert.
He stood behind the door, looking out at the street through the small window on the door, which was only a finger's width.

There were corpses all over the street. Some were from local gangs, some were from the Ark Gang, and some were ordinary residents who failed to return home in time.

Zhou Yun blinked.

He noticed that a group of people wearing linen robes and with the logo of a spaceship with a tail flame painted on their faces were carrying the bodies of yesterday's dead on the street.

Just like a group of diligent worker bees.
"Ark Gang?"

Zhou Yun frowned.
This group of people should be members of the Ark Gang. They were actually cleaning up the corpses. They seemed quite civic-minded.

Did the Ark Gang win the battle last night?
I had just supplied 300 automatic infantry rifles for PDF to the local gangs, and they were defeated overnight?

This is a bit too much of a dog
He took out a super power hat from his four-dimensional pocket and put it on his head.

Then he focused his attention on his eyes and looked at the Ark Gang members outside the door.

Their linen robes, their skin and flesh, were all clearly visible to Zhou Yun.

“It’s a human.”

After confirming that these low-level Ark Gang members outside the door were all human, Zhou Yun breathed a sigh of relief.

He took off the superpower hat on his head, pushed open the door and walked into the street.

The Ark Gang members who were cleaning up the bodies did not pay special attention to Zhou Yun, but just treated him as another member of the crowded crowd.

Even though the battle broke out last night, the streets of the hive city are still crowded.
Busy workers shuttled through the narrow streets.
The bodies left on the ground were stepped on by people almost numbly.
Many corpses were half-embedded in the mud after being trampled throughout the morning.

Gang fights are common, and the workers are used to it.
As long as you are alive, you have to work in the factory.

Sometimes death does not necessarily mean the end of work.
In the galaxy, only the Emperor and work are eternal.

Zhou Yun noticed that on the muddy ground not far away, a gang member's head was facing him with the back of his head.

There was a hideous bullet hole on the neck of the head, which was obviously broken by a bullet.

Its muscles were curled up and gray, and it looked old. The logo of a local gang could be vaguely seen on the exposed part of its cheek.

Under the trampling of passers-by, the head had been half sunk into the mud, like a smelly, hard stone protruding from the ground.

"Come on, make room for me."

Zhou Yun waved his arms and squeezed out some space from the crowded crowd around him.

He reached out and pulled the head up from the ground.
Half of the face of the head was crushed to pieces, half of the eye was hanging out of the eye socket, and the white bones were exposed among the flesh and blood.

Looking at this ugly head, Zhou Yun shook his head with regret and anticipation:

"It's not that old slick guy, Rag."

He glanced at the terrifying head in his hand.
"But he's more handsome than Rag."

Then he casually threw the head into the bag of the Ark Gang members who were collecting corpses on the side of the road, so as to avoid tripping pedestrians.

The Ark Gang members looked at the head thrown into the bag and bowed politely to Zhou Yun to express their gratitude.

Zhou Yun looked at his actions and his eyes twitched slightly.

The more innocent these Ark Gang members seemed, the more he suspected they were members of the Genestealer sect.

He looked at the street in front of him and felt that there was a strange atmosphere on the street.
It was as if there was some unreal mist floating invisibly in the air. "There are remnants of psychic power on the street." The winged figure in the white light suddenly said softly.

"Psychic power."

Zhou Yun was stunned for a moment, and his brows furrowed even tighter.
No wonder, no wonder the local gangs were defeated overnight,
There is a psychic in the Ark Gang, which is becoming more and more suspicious.

Zhou Yun shook his head and walked west along the crowded street. After passing through the archway made of scrap iron, he saw the three-way intersection where a huge stone sculpture of Saint Gilles stood.

Many residents passing by were prostrating themselves at the feet of the stone statue of Saint Gilles, praying devoutly.

Zhou Yun shook his head and looked at where Sanguinius's sharp spear was pointing.
Old One-Eye's tavern was open for business.

When Zhou Yun pushed the door open, he heard a loud commotion in the pub.

A half-drunk worker stood on the table and loudly recounted what happened last night:
"The leader of the Ark Gang and his men arrived at the doorstep of the local gang in just half the night."

"But no one could have imagined that the gang leader in our area actually had 300 infantry automatic rifles produced by Agrippina!"

The worker noticed the disbelieving expressions of the people around him:

"Don't disbelieve me, what I saw with my own eyes last night were three hundred Agrippina III infantry automatic rifles. I was lucky enough to see PDF use them when I was young."

"After three or two rounds of shooting, the Ark Gang suffered countless casualties and could not hold on to this last stronghold for a while."

He took a deep breath and said in a low voice:

"But at this moment, the leader of the Ark Gang came out alone without any weapons."

"She was reciting the Holy Scriptures, and the gang members holding the automatic rifles were all stunned where they were."

"The leader raised his hands, raised his voice, and shouted, 'Put down your weapons,' and the gang members all put down their automatic rifles."

"The leader declared: This is the punishment of the Emperor on the unbelievers. She was blessed by the Emperor and founded the Ark Gang to help the people of Asford get redeemed from the hands of the interstellar devils."

Listening to the workers' boasting, Zhou Yun sat down at the bar of the pub and looked at the one-eyed old man.

The one-eyed old man wiped the wine glass and poured Zhou Yun a glass of blood-red bubbling wine.

"Have you found the notebook?" asked the one-eyed old man as he handed the wine to Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun took a sip of his drink, shook his head and said, "It's not that easy. I haven't even entered the Corpse Guild."

This is the truth of the matter, he really didn't go in.

The one-eyed old man sighed and said, "If you can't find it, then don't find it. It's really not easy."

"You can't find it. It seems that this job is hopeless."

As he spoke, the one-eyed old man waved his hand and glanced at the worker who was standing at the wine table and boasting.

"What do you think?" the one-eyed old man asked Zhou Yun.

"What does gang affairs have to do with us?" Zhou Yun said as he took a sip of wine.

The old one-eyed man grinned, glanced around cautiously, and whispered in Zhou Yun's ear:

"Don't be as ignorant as them."

"Did you hear it? Psyker, the leader of the Ark Gang is actually an illegal psyker."
