Chapter 660 Encountering a Mad Dog

Chapter 660 Encountering a Mad Dog

Lin Mo'an was not sleeping soundly. He felt a weight on his shoulder. He moved and woke up. What he saw was Shen Youran's pretty face. His voice was hoarse and sleepy: "So early?"

Shen Youran looked at his tired face and asked, "Didn't you sleep all night?"

There was a look of deep fatigue between his brows, his eyeballs were bloodshot, the shirt under his coat was obviously wrinkled, and there was a light stubble on his chin.

Lin Mo'an put Lin Xia's hand under the quilt: "I talked to her for a while."

Look at him, it's not just for a moment, it's the whole night.

Shen Youran handed him the bag of toiletries and said, "Go wash up. I brought you breakfast."

Lin Mo'an took off the clothes on his shoulders and put them on the back of the chair, then carried the bag into the bathroom. He came out a few minutes later, looking more refreshed than before.

She glanced back and asked, "Why don't you shave?"

Lin Mo'an touched his chin carelessly, feeling a little prickly: "I left in such a hurry that I forgot to bring my razor."

Shen Youran understood. He probably booked a flight back home right after receiving her call. How could he have forgotten those little things in such a hurry?

She took the lunch box out of the bag: "Come and have breakfast, it's still hot."

Lin Mo'an walked over, took his breakfast, sat down on the sofa, and ate slowly.

Shen Youran poured some water and placed it on the table next to him: "Did she react?"

Lin Mo'an paused while chewing, and shook his head gloomily. The food in his mouth felt like chewing wax and he had no taste at all.

She whispered a few words of comfort, but Lin Mo'an didn't know if he was listening or not, as he remained silent. He casually ate two bites, drank a glass of water, and didn't move again.

Shen Youran packed up the lunch box, threw it into the trash can, and went to buy him a razor and aftershave. When she came out of the inpatient department and passed by the emergency room lobby, she met Qiu Shaoze, who was covered in injuries.

She was startled: "What happened to you?"

There was a wound at the corner of Qiu Shaoze's mouth, bruises on his left cheek, his hair was messy, and his right arm was hanging weakly.

His face turned pale as he said, "I met a mad dog."

Shen Youran helped him sit down, then went to register and waited with him outside the outpatient clinic. When it was his turn, she helped him into the department.

The doctor first checked his injuries. Not only did he have multiple scars, but he also had a broken rib. The doctor touched his right arm, which was in a sling. "It's dislocated. It needs to be reattached. Just bear with it."

Qiu Shaoze turned his head away and didn't dare to look, and said hypocritically: "Be gentle, I'm afraid of pain."

As the hospital opened the door, Shen Youran heard a "click" and subconsciously closed her eyes. She could hear Qiu Shaoze's wailing in pain.

"It's already been connected." Seeing that he was sweating profusely, the doctor kindly handed him a tissue and asked, "Did you have a fight with someone?"

Qiu Shaoze took it and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, then moved his right arm and was able to stretch it freely: "Thank you, doctor."

"Don't thank me so quickly. There are still ribs that need to be grafted." The doctor stood up and walked towards the inner room, pulled open the curtain, and Qiu Shaoze followed him in. Not long after, a scream was heard from inside.

After coming out of the department, Shen Youran poked the wound on his cheek and asked, "Why did you fight with others for no reason?"

Qiu Shaoze hissed in pain and grinned, "Talk nicely, don't do it."

He went to the new studio in the morning, and a group of people rushed in inexplicably, punched and kicked him, and smashed things in the studio.
