Minan looked towards the balcony. Xu Chengyan was talking on the phone with his back to the living room. He was wearing a white shirt, a maroon vest and trousers of the same color.

She took a look, went back to her room to wash up, and went downstairs to the restaurant.

He explained to Minan: "We didn't say a word last night before you fell asleep again. You looked very tired, so I didn't want to wake you up by taking a shower, so I went back to my room."

She lowered her head silently and continued to eat breakfast.

After she finished eating, Xu Chengyan stood up and said, "Let's go."

"We agreed yesterday that we would go back to the Xu residence to meet my parents today." Xu Chengyan did not allow her to back down. He grabbed her wrist, pulled her out of the restaurant, took the suit jacket on the sofa, and led her out to the living room.

Minan blinked blankly: "When did I tell you last night?"

She agreed to it last night when she was half asleep and half awake. She couldn't remember it even if he told her, so Xu Chengyan didn't mention it to her: "Don't try to cheat me. I've already called home. My parents know that we need to go back."
