Xu Chengyan returned to her room, took a shower and went to bed, but she couldn't fall asleep as Minan's figure was all in her mind.

He threw back the quilt, got out of bed, put on his clothes and pants, and left the room to get some water.

Just then, Mi's mother came out of the room with an empty bowl and looked at him in surprise: "Xiao Xu, you haven't slept yet?"

Xu Chengyan suddenly had an idea: "I just fell asleep and was very thirsty. I woke up and came out to find some water to drink."

"No wonder you didn't respond when I knocked on the door." Mother Mi muttered, then said to him, "Wait a moment, I'll pour you some water."

"I can pour it myself." As he said that, he walked forward, opened the water dispenser cabinet, took out a paper cup, filled it with water and drank it in one gulp.

Mi Mu went into the kitchen and put down the empty bowl. She came out to pour him some water. Seeing that he was already drinking, she asked, "I made some hangover soup. Do you want some?"

"No, I'm fine."

Minan said kindly and gently: "It's better to drink some hangover soup, so that you won't feel uncomfortable when you fall asleep, and you won't have a headache tomorrow morning."

Minan was naturally very tired after a day of shopping, so she fell asleep as soon as she lay on the bed. When she woke up the next day, she walked out of the room in her pajamas as usual without changing her clothes, rubbing her messy hair as she walked.

Hearing the TV on, she looked towards the sofa and saw Xu Chengyan sitting there watching TV calmly.

Xu Chengyan heard the sound of the door closing, turned his head to look at her, and greeted her with a refreshed look: "Morning."

She suddenly woke up from her hazy sleep, her eyes widened: "Why are you still here?"

Xu Chengyan smiled and said, "Wait for you to get up."

Minan frowned slightly: "What are you waiting for me to do?"

"Wait for your reply. What have you thought about it? Do you want to forgive me?" Xu Chengyan was thinking all night whether she would forgive him, so he didn't get a good rest last night.

Minan's eyes suddenly fixed on the cup in his hand. Seeing him drinking water from his own cup, Minan quickly stepped forward and snatched the cup away: "Why are you using my cup?"

Xu Chengyan curled his lips: "It's just used once, what's the matter? I don't mind that you used it."

Minan realized that she was wearing pajamas, put down the cup, quickly returned to the room, changed her clothes and came out.

Xu Chengyan brought her breakfast from the kitchen: "This is the breakfast your aunt left for you, come and eat it."

Minan thought about the day before yesterday when she and Dai Qingrang were having dinner and saw Xu Chengyan. She walked over and asked, "When did you come to City A?"

Xu Chengyan put breakfast on the table for him: "Yesterday."

Minan stared at him and said, "You are lying. I saw you the day before yesterday."

The lie was exposed, and a trace of embarrassment flashed across Xu Chengyan's face: "Since you guessed it, then I won't lie to you. I did come here the day before yesterday."
