Chapter 2789 She Really Doesn’t Want to Live
Gu Jinchen got up at dawn the next day. He washed up and went downstairs. Aunt Li and Sister Ming had just gotten up.

Seeing him coming down, they both leaned forward slightly, and Aunt Li said, "Mr. Gu, so early? We haven't made breakfast yet."

Then the nurse pushed Shen Shuna out and sent her to the ward.

Gu Jinchen said: "Send her to the VIP ward."

The nurse pushed Shen Shuna to the VIP ward, gave her an IV, and left.

Gu Jinchen pulled over a chair and sat down, guarding the bedside.

He lifted a corner of the quilt and saw her wrists wrapped in gauze.

The spots of blood seeping out of the gauze stung his eyes.

Not long after, he saw Shen Shuna's eyelashes fluttering slightly. He stood up excitedly and leaned over to look at her. Seeing her slowly opening her eyes, the corners of her lips curved slightly: "Shuna, you're awake."

As soon as Shen Shuna opened her eyes, she met the eyes of the man above her head and looked at him in surprise and confusion.

"Doctor!" Gu Jinchen quickly walked out of the ward and called the doctor.

Shen Shuna tilted her head and saw the white IV tube hanging beside her. She realized that she was in the hospital. So she was not dead, but was saved.

She closed her eyes, tears welling up in the corners of her eyes. Why couldn't she even die?

She really didn't want to live anymore, and she no longer had the face to live.

There was a chaotic sound of footsteps. It was Gu Jinchen calling the doctor over.

The doctor examined Shen Shuna again. Shen Shuna kept her eyes closed from beginning to end, allowing them to do whatever they wanted.

After the examination, the doctor said to Gu Jinchen, "It's okay" and left.

The ward became quiet. Gu Jinchen walked forward and wanted to pour a glass of water for Shen Shuna, but found that the kettle was empty.

"I'll go get some water and be back soon." After saying that, he went out carrying the empty kettle.

Hearing the sound of the ward door closing, Shen Shuna opened her eyes, raised her bandaged hand, pulled out the IV drip on her right hand, and blood immediately oozed out of the needle hole on the back of her hand.

When the needle was pulled out, the wound on her left wrist was pulled, and she turned pale in pain and the gauze was quickly soaked.

After getting the water, Gu Jinchen didn't dare to delay for even a minute and immediately returned to his room.

Seeing Shen Shuna pull out the potion, his face suddenly changed, and he strode forward, put the kettle on the table, with a thin layer of anger on his face: "What are you doing?"

Seeing that blood was constantly oozing out of the back of her right hand, the gauze on her left wrist was stained red, and her face was so gloomy that it seemed to be about to freeze into a layer of ice. He strode out of the room and called the nurse over.

The nurse first stopped the bleeding on her wrist, changed a piece of clean gauze, and then wiped the blood on the back of her hand with alcohol. She was about to re-inject the IV, but Shen Shuna suddenly retracted her hand.
