She packed up the lunch box and threw it into the trash can, then took out her cell phone from her bag and charged it. Her mouth was a little dry, so she took the cup and walked to the water dispenser to get some water.

Xu Chengyan approached her and whispered, "Assistant Zhang said that you went home in the rain last night because of an emergency, and then you fell ill. If Jinchen asks about it, don't say the wrong thing."

Shen Shuna had called Special Assistant Zhang in the hospital, so she knew what to say, but she still said "thank you" to him.

Xu Chengyan went to the balcony and continued to process documents. Shen Shuna took a half glass of water, walked over with the glass and sat down on the sofa, and took out medicine from her bag.

There were several kinds. She glanced at the instructions, squeezed out a few pills of each kind according to the instructions, and swallowed them with water.

After waiting for a while, the phone charged for about ten minutes and finally turned on.

She took her cell phone and went to the balcony, wanting to say hello to Gu Jinchen and tell him that she was back.

When she came to the balcony, she saw Gu Jinchen with his eyes closed. His handsome features bathed in the sunlight made him look even more handsome.

Gu Jinchen didn’t get enough rest last night, so he really fell asleep at this moment.

"Since you're back, I'll go to the company." Xu Chengyan packed up the documents and stood up.

Shen Shuna sent him to the door. After Xu Chengyan went down the stairs, he remembered something and turned to look at her.

"If you have any problems in the future and it's inconvenient for you to tell him, just call Special Assistant Zhang and me. Don't leave without saying anything. It's scary. People will think something happened to you."

Shen Shuna knew that they must be worried about her, and said apologetically: "What happened yesterday was too sudden, I'm sorry."

After Xu Chengyan left, Shen Shuna returned to the living room to clean. Her high fever had not subsided yet, and after taking medicine, she always felt sleepy and could not muster any energy, but she persisted.

After cleaning, she went upstairs to the master bedroom and took down the clothes that Gu Jinchen wore yesterday to wash.
