Shen Youran suddenly opened his eyes and took two deep breaths.

"Youyou, did you have a nightmare?" Ji Jinchuan kissed her forehead and said softly, "Don't be afraid, I'm here."

Shen Youran stared at the ceiling with empty eyes. It took a long while before she gradually reacted. She tilted her head to look at him, gave him a pale smile, and signaled him not to worry.

Ji Jinchuan got out of bed and left the room. After a while, he came back with a glass of water in his hand: "Have a drink."

Shen Youran stood up, took the cup of water, drank two sips and said, "Did I wake you up?"

"It's okay." Ji Jinchuan wiped the sweat off her forehead. "What did you dream about?"

She forced a smile, a trace of sadness flashed across her eyes, and her dark eyelashes gradually drooped, like butterfly wings under the light, trembling slightly: "I don't remember."

Ji Jinchuan hugged her and patted her back gently: "Okay, okay, it's okay if you don't remember it. It's just a dream. Don't be afraid."

Shen Youran nodded, handed him the cup of water, and lay down on her side.

Ji Jinchuan put the water cup on the table, lay down beside her, lifted her head and let her lie on his arms: "I'll watch over you, you go to sleep."

Shen Youran's back was pressed against his chest, she opened her eyes and thought about the dream she had just had, cool tears slid silently down the corners of her eyes.

As daybreak approached, she gradually fell asleep.

Ji Jinchuan's biological clock woke up, he opened his eyes and glanced at Shen Youran in his arms.

Seeing that she was sleeping peacefully, he curled the corners of his lips slightly, kissed her forehead, lifted her head with one hand, pulled his arm out, lifted the quilt and got out of bed.

He came to Zino's room, with both of Zino's arms exposed. He tucked him in and lay down on the bed.

Jino woke up and saw his father lying next to him. He blinked and made sure that he was not seeing things. Then he reached out and pinched his nose.

Ji Jinchuan was just taking a nap and didn't fall asleep. He opened his eyes and said lazily, "Get up when you wake up." Ji Nuo rubbed his eyes and said, "Dad, were you the one who slept with me last night?"

He said "hmm" without changing his expression. Seeing that he pouted slightly, he asked, "Is it not possible?"

How dare he protest: "What about mom?"

Ji Jinchuan got out of bed, walked over, opened the closet, took out his clothes and put them on: "In the next room."

Yesterday, Shen Youran hung all the clothes she brought into the closet. After he put them on, he took off Ji Nuo's clothes and threw them to him: "Put them on yourself."

Jinuo blinked his sleepy eyes: "What about you?"

He took off Shen Youran's clothes: "I'll go wake up your mother."

When he arrived at Shen Youran's room, he pushed open the door directly. The quilt on the bed was opened. Shen Youran was not there, and there was the sound of water splashing in the bathroom.

He entered the washroom, came to the outside of the bathroom, raised his hand and knocked on the frosted glass door.

The sound of water stopped. It should be Shen Youran turning off the shower. She said, "I'll be out soon."

Ji Jinchuan said in a gentle voice: "I brought the clothes to you."

The bathroom door opened with a click, and Shen Youran came out wrapped in a bath towel, with traces of love left on her collarbone from the two of them last night.

Ji Jinchuan followed her out of the bathroom and into the room: "Why are you taking a bath so early in the morning?"

She had a nightmare last night and broke out in cold sweats, feeling sticky and uncomfortable, so she took a shower as soon as she woke up.
