Ji Jinchuan saw Shen Youran carrying Ji Nuo upstairs and said to Wu Ma, "Go and have a rest."

Aunt Wu responded and went back to her room.

Ji Jinchuan walked to the water dispenser, took a cup and drank two sips, then raised his hand and pinched his eyebrows, put down the cup and went back to the bedroom.

When he came out of the shower, Shen Youran had not returned to the room yet. He wiped his wet hair roughly, threw the towel on the sofa, and left the room.

When he arrived outside Zino's bedroom, he saw through the crack in the door that the light in the room was still on, so he raised his hand and knocked on the door.

There were slight footsteps inside and the door was opened.

Shen Youran had just finished taking a shower. Her fair face was flushed from the heat, and the two strands of hair on her temples were sticking to her forehead because they were wet.

Ji Jinchuan asked: "Is Nuonuo asleep?"

Shen Youran brushed away the hair that was stuck to her forehead and said in a soft and gentle voice, "She's already asleep."

Ji Jinchuan said in a gentle voice: "Then go back to your room and sleep."

One of her hands was still on the door handle. Her nightgown was knee-length, revealing two thin, white calves. “I’ve been sleeping with Nuonuo these days.”

"You are my wife!" He could reluctantly agree last night, but he was very unhappy if this happened every day.

Shen Youran let go of the door handle, took a step forward and put her arms around his neck. Her slender arms were white and gleaming under the light. She spoke in a coquettish tone, "I want to hear Nuonuo call me mom in person. Can you please fulfill my request?"

Her voice was so sweet and soft that Ji Jinchuan's heart softened. How could he bear to refuse? He put his arms around her waist and kissed her hard.

Shen Youran kissed the corner of his lips again. When he was about to kiss her, she quickly pulled away, took two steps back, waved, said "good night", and closed the door.

Looking at the tightly closed door, Ji Jinchuan sighed helplessly and turned to walk towards the bedroom.

...The next morning, when Shen Youran woke up, Ji Nuo was still sleeping. She originally wanted to make breakfast, but she was afraid that Ji Nuo would misunderstand that she slept somewhere else last night, so she stayed in bed with him for a while longer.

Jinuo frowned and groaned twice, then turned over and fell asleep again facing inside.

Shen Youran tried calling him twice more, but he still didn't respond.

Just then, there was a knock on the door. She threw off the quilt, got out of bed, walked over to open the door, and saw Aunt Wu standing outside.

Wu Ma said, "Madam, it's time to get up. Breakfast is ready."

She nodded: "Okay, we'll be down right away."

After Aunt Wu left, Shen Youran walked to the closet and opened the door. The clothes hanging inside were all matched. She picked out a set, walked to the bed, lifted the quilt and picked up Ji Nuo.

Jinuo opened his hazy eyes and murmured indistinctly, "Of course."

Shen Youran sat down beside the bed and placed him on her lap: "Wake up quickly, or you'll be late."

Having slept too late last night, Jinuo was very sleepy. He drowsily replied, "Oh."

Shen Youran held his face and called softly, "Nono."

Jinuo moved his little mouth, but there was no response again.

Shen Youran slapped his forehead, feeling somewhat helpless. He should have woken him up half an hour earlier.
