Shen Youran heard the sound of a chair rubbing against the ground behind him, and someone was chasing after him.

Her arm felt heavy and someone pulled her back. She tightened her fingers as she smelled the mint tobacco on the man behind her.

Ji Jinchuan tightened his grip on her arm, and his dry throat rolled over: "Don't you want Nuonuo anymore?"

Shen Youran raised her head and forced the mist in her pupils away. Her cold voice was ruthless: "That's your son. He has nothing to do with me."

"That's your son too." Ji Jinchuan's eyes were dark and his voice trembled slightly. She made him scared.

All four of them were silent.

Shen Yaoting covered his face, and moist mist seeped out from between his fingers.

Ji Jinchuan's jaw was straightened and he was silent for a while. He took two steps forward, moved his lips which were pursed until they turned pale, and looked at Lin Mo'an with his deep black eyes: "Please go after her and comfort her." After the last sentence, his voice was hoarse.

Legally they were still husband and wife, but he had no reason to even be with her and let other men comfort her.

Lin Mo'an glanced at him, turned around and left, chasing after him at a quick pace.

When he arrived outside the hotel, he saw Shen Youran sitting in the car and felt a little relieved.

He walked quickly forward, opened the car door, and fainted. He looked at her twice, then took two tissues from the storage table and handed them to her.

Shen Youran took it and held it in her hand. Although she tried her best to hold it back, tears still fell.

Lin Mo'an patted his shoulder and said, "Cry if you want to. After crying, face it bravely."

Shen Youran sniffed and suppressed the mist in her pupils: "I won't cry, they don't deserve it."

Lin Mo'an looked at her stubborn appearance, sighed slightly, and without saying anything else, started the engine and drove the car.

When they got home, Lin Moan poured her some water and said, "Do you feel better now that you've said what you've been holding back for years?"

She had adjusted her mood and returned to her calm and cold expression. Apart from some redness in the corners of her eyes, there was nothing unusual about her.

She took the water cup and took a sip. Her hoarse voice gradually recovered. “You were not there at the time, so you didn’t see their regretful expressions. It was really gratifying to see them.”

Lin Moan smiled: "As long as you are happy."

Shen Youran raised her eyebrows, turned on the TV, and watched it while holding a cup of water. The cell phone on the coffee table rang, but she didn't move.

Lin Mo'an looked at her. She was not watching TV, but using TV to cover up her distraction.
