My own war game

Chapter 7 Agreement

Chapter 7 Agreement
"He, you may be in trouble." Constantine tried to make his tone calmer, but his emotional fluctuations could still be felt between his words.

"Yes sir, it doesn't look good. Can you tell me in detail?" He Chi was surprisingly calm at this time, because the countdown in his right eye that kept twitching had long indicated that he only had a dozen days to live. Now it was just made clear that it was in the form of a tumor.

Constantine was silent for a moment and then said, "Although I would like to tell you that there is absolutely no problem, at this time I think you have the right to know."

Then he took a deep breath and said, "It's very dangerous. This volume inside the skull is a huge risk. It may squeeze your fragile brain nerves at any time, and then..."

"So, sir, how much time do I have left?" There was no panic in He Chi's voice, as if he was asking about something that had nothing to do with him.

"It's hard to say. Any changes could lead to irreversible consequences... I'm not a cranial surgeon. If I had to say anything, based on the current situation, I can only say that there won't be any major problems within a week."

"One week..." He Chi chewed on the word softly. This was consistent with the time the system prompted him to return to the copy next time. It didn't seem to be a coincidence.

He bowed slightly to Constantine. "Thank you, sir! Thank you for your honesty with me. I think I know what to do now."

He Chi then said goodbye to the two and left the villa.

After he left, Constantine picked up the phone under his granddaughter's worried gaze. "Old friend, how are you? I have a very special case here that may be of interest to you..."

The Ford car was waiting at the red light, and He Chi was lost in thought in the driver's seat.

The situation was almost confirmed. After using those silver coins, the puncture wound on his lower abdomen was completely healed, and it was replaced by a head tumor that did not seem to be immediately fatal.

Although the system did not give a clear explanation, He Chi was certain that once the countdown on his right eye was over, the risk of the tumor would definitely break out.

Fortunately, I still have a chance. As long as I earn more time coins in the copy in a week, I will not be in danger.

At this moment, He Chi subconsciously touched the remaining silver coin in his pocket. The cold touch gave him a very strange feeling.

Buzz~buzz~thump~thump~~
Dang~dang~dang~
The roar of an engine and the sound of knocking on the car window brought his thoughts back to his senses. He Chi discovered that a pure black Ducati racing motorcycle had stopped next to him at some point, and the rider, whose face could not be seen clearly, was gently knocking on his car window.

Pull yourself aside? Why?
The other person had a slender figure and didn't look like a biker gang looking for trouble. It seemed that at least he had no ill intentions, so He Chi did as he was told.

A minute later, the Ford stopped in a surrounding alley, and the Ducati followed from behind.

In the moonlight, the slender figure took off her helmet, her long golden hair blew in the night wind, revealing a beautiful face.

"Lisa? Why is it you?" He Chi asked in surprise.

Lisa was wearing a black tight leather jacket, riding boots, and lambskin riding gloves with a few metal spikes reflecting the light.

This was so different from her usual girl-next-door look that He Chi never thought it would be her.

"The equipment belongs to Lola. Grandpa's car has some problems, so I just want to borrow it..." The girl's face was slightly red as she explained in a low voice. Then she approached He Chi and said softly, "Can we go for a walk together?"

The two of them walked side by side on the empty streets of the town for a full five minutes without anyone speaking.

"He, do you remember the first time we met?" Finally, the little girl broke the silence.

"Of course, it is an unforgettable experience." He Chi responded only to realize that his statement was ambiguous.

"Do you remember the first words you said to me?" Lisa turned her head and asked.

"Um... I'm sorry, I don't remember." "It doesn't matter, as long as I remember it." Lisa rolled up her sleeves. There was a long scar on her white arm, winding upwards like a snake. Under the moonlight, it had a kind of enchanting beauty.

"The whole bus flipped over and half of my body was trapped inside. I thought I was dead." The girl was lost in her memories.

"But there was someone who reached out and held me, and told me not to give up!" When she said this, the girl looked at He Chi with her amber eyes.

"He, I will graduate in half a year, and I want to apply to Stanford Medical School." Lisa took a deep breath and continued.

"Congratulations, you will be an excellent surgeon after graduation."

"But I'm still short of a dance partner for my graduation party. Can you be my dance partner in half a year?" The girl mustered up the courage to ask He Chi.

He Chi was slightly stunned, and realized that the girl was encouraging him in her own way. After all, if he wanted to be her dance partner, he had to stay alive.

He Chi smiled and nodded and bowed slightly, "It would be my greatest honor."

"Then we have an appointment. You can't break it and let the lady down." When they parted, the girl put her slender fingers on the corner of her mouth and then pressed them on He Chi's lips.

Looking at the girl's receding back, He Chi licked his lips subconsciously. At this moment, he remembered that Lisa had strawberry cake for dinner today.

This is a good girl.

"If I can still survive until then, I will go pick out a suitable dress." He Chi said to himself on the way home.

Five minutes later, He Chi drove back to his rental place again, but he was not in a hurry to go upstairs.

Because he saw his neighbor, the Mexican dancer, half-squatting on the fire corridor on the second floor, busying herself with something. Her body was mostly blocked by the fence, and only her tight thighs could be seen shaking.

The landlord stood opposite her with a very expressive look on his face.

With previous experience, He Chi didn't want to go up and make the other party unhappy at this time.

After waiting for ten minutes, when the two people disappeared, He Chi went upstairs.

Fortunately, there was no strange smell in the air, and He Chi quickly passed through the fire escape and entered his house.

Boom~Boom~Boom~Boom!

There was a sound of something hitting the wall, and He Chi couldn't help but frown. He had already considered using a tactful way to remind his neighbors to be a little more careful tomorrow.

Boom boom boom! Boom boom boom! Boom~ Boom~
The sound began to get louder, then slowly became smaller, and finally fell silent. Only then did He Chi breathe a sigh of relief.

But the voice that came the next second interrupted his thoughts again.

It was not a heart-pounding, blushing moan, but a sudden shout.

"help!"
