Chapter 357 Let You Zhang come
Chapter 357 Let Him Swim Back
A holiday beach somewhere on the outskirts of London, 1949.
The weather in April was still a little cold, and there were not many tourists at the beach. There were only a few young people scattered around.
Professor Heisenberg stepped onto the soft beach in his leather shoes, and his shoes were instantly filled with fine sand.
The former leading German nuclear physicist was in a bad mood.
After Germany was defeated, his own research team was directly taken over by the British. Although he was not imprisoned, his life was not comfortable.
He is now nominally the director of the Copenhagen Institute of Physics, but his every move is actually under surveillance by the British government.
This surveillance has become more severe since last year he and his old friends Nobel Prize winners Hahn, von Weizsäcker and others refused to help the British government advance its nuclear weapons research and development project.
Due to the outbreak of the Berlin crisis, West Berlin was completely blockaded by the Soviet army. The basic living supplies of citizens could not be guaranteed, and his former team of assistants were also in a critical situation in Berlin.
He also wrote to the British government hoping that they would rescue his companions, but the authorities actually hinted that they would only rescue them if he compromised on nuclear weapons research.
As a scientific researcher, Heisenberg was helpless about this situation. However, someone contacted him secretly a few days ago, promised to take him away, and put forward a condition he could not refuse - to help him pick up his team of assistants who were trapped in the city of West Berlin.
Heisenberg decided to take a gamble.
After all, he was not a professional intelligence officer. As they approached the agreed location, the doctor began to look at his watch anxiously, which soon aroused the suspicion of his entourage.
"Professor, are you waiting for someone?" the plainclothes officer who was acting as a monitor came forward and asked.
"I, no, I just want to take a walk and relax..." Heisenberg answered guiltily.
"Really? It's very windy here, please don't stay too long." The plainclothes officer looked around and felt a little impatient.
There was the sound of footsteps on the sand. The plainclothes officer turned around alertly, only to find a woman running frantically on the beach.
"Sir, please help! My companion's ankle was scratched by a shell and she is bleeding a lot." The woman said in a pleading tone.
The plainclothes officer frowned. "Sorry, ma'am, we can't help you."
"Oh my God! Aren't you men? She is seriously injured and her life may be in danger." The woman looked at the two men with disbelief, as if she couldn't believe that someone could be so cold-blooded.
"I have learned a little about bandaging. I'll go with you to take a look." Professor Heisenberg stepped forward.
"Sir, you shouldn't..." the plainclothes officer tried to stop him.
"Damn it! Aren't you gentlemen? How can you leave an injured lady alone!" Heisenberg shouted loudly, then walked over alone.
The plainclothes officers had no choice but to follow.
A few dozen meters later, another woman fell on the beach, covering her injured calf and wailing, with a bloody shell lying beside her.
This is a common occurrence at the beach every year.
The plainclothes officer stopped the professor and decided to check the situation himself.
Just as he was about to bend down, he suddenly felt a stinging sensation on his neck as if he had been stung by a bee. He covered his neck and suddenly stood up to grab the gun. At this time, he felt dizzy.
Boom!
The plainclothes officer fell directly onto the beach.
"Dr. Heisenberg, we are here to pick you up. Please cooperate with us now." The wounded man on the ground had stood up at this time, wearing a ring with a thin needle on his hand.
"Is he dead?!" the professor asked with wide eyes. "No, it's a strong anesthetic. He's not in danger of death. He'll just feel a little dizzy when he wakes up." The woman stretched out her hand and shook it lightly.
"Christine Sinnier, we have contacted each other before. Please come with us. We will take you to Germany."
"Go? How do we get there?" Heisenberg looked around and saw only a small motorboat that could barely seat a few people.
He suddenly felt a little regretful...
About ten minutes later, in front of the motorboat that had already entered the deep water, a huge whale-like monster emerged from the bottom of the water.
The professor entered the submarine with the woman tremblingly. The two men with Slavic features stood at attention and saluted the woman.
"You are Soviets?!" Heisenberg was shocked. If that was the case, he would rather stay in England.
"Strictly speaking, there are people from more than a dozen countries here." The woman corrected the professor and pointed to the people opposite her and introduced
"Brother Robrov, former field operative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs."
"Jima, MI6 internal guard, former ace agent."
"Saivitch, used to be Tito's attendant officer."
"I'm from French Intelligence."
"Welcome to Red Mercury, professor. You may meet your old friends later." The young-looking woman smiled and led the way.
After a while, a familiar figure appeared in front of the professor - Hermann Oberth, a former German V2 rocket expert.
"Oberth! Why are you here?! Didn't you go to South America?" The professor asked his former colleague in surprise.
"I signed a five-year contract with Red Mercury. I am responsible for technical development for them, and they pay me a salary and provide me with R&D ideas." Oberth said naturally, without any sign of being forced on his face.
The professor was even more strange. Compared with his theoretical research, Oberth, who was engaged in dynamics and engineering development, had a richer imagination. He developed several new weapons for Germany and even built a flying saucer.
Who can provide him with R&D ideas?
When he expressed doubt, Obert lowered his voice and said mysteriously, "You may not believe it, but you know that person. It's Schneider."
"Schneider? Which Schneider?" The professor was confused for a moment.
"Who else? The designer of the Type 8 tank who competed with you for funding."
"It was him? But wasn't he dead? Goering was furious about this at the time."
"God knows. Anyway, I just talked to him half a month ago. He left me a lot of very creative ideas. I stayed here to work partly because I couldn't bear to give up these ideas." Obert shrugged and added:
"But everyone here calls him He, and he is also another leader of this organization."
Hearing this, Heisenberg turned to Christine and said, "Madam, can I meet Professor Schneider, or Professor He as you call him?"
The French girl smiled and said, "Unfortunately, he is not here right now, and we are leaving by boat soon."
Jima quietly pulled her from behind and said, "He will be back in a while, shouldn't we wait for him?"
"Him? Hasn't he been having a lot of fun during this period?" Christine snorted.
"Just let him swim back!"
