People in Jiejiao, Plague God Lu Yue

Chapter 236 Ksitigarbha’s great wish, Di Ting is confused?

Chapter 236 Ksitigarbha’s great wish, Di Ting is confused?
Meng Po, with her aged face, stroked the corpse of Gong Gong, and ignored Ksitigarbha who was stepping on Di Ting. The two of them were not in the same position of honor. Ksitigarbha strode from the north of Yinshan Mountain.

Naturally, they were shocked by Gonggong's corpse. A mountain appeared out of nowhere in the underworld, surrounded by water vapor. The water witches felt that the underworld was too gloomy and sandy, so they brought the water of the Yellow Spring into this place.

Connect with the water of Xuanming.

Forming a waterfall wonder.

"Could this be the divine beast Di Ting?"

This was also the first time that Lu Yue saw this mythical beast. It looked like an elephant and could distinguish all things in the world. It was especially good at listening to the voices of the people. In Journey to the West, the true and false Monkey King went to the underworld.

This mythical beast must have been able to tell the real Monkey King from the fake one, but because of the Western plot, it chose to play dumb.

After seeing Lu Yue, Di Ting knelt on the ground, not daring to look up. Perhaps he sensed the faint aura of calamity in Lu Yue and was afraid of being contaminated by it, since he could listen to the voices of the people.

Nature also knows how to make choices.

Therefore, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva had no choice but to land three meters away and walked over on foot, one golden lotus per step: "Little monk, greetings to the two great immortals."

Di Ting lowered his head and spoke in human language: "Ding Ting, greetings to the two great immortals."

Lu Yue nodded indifferently. As a foster child of the Western religion in the underworld, he had taken over the underworld with the intention of ruling it. As a member of the Heavenly Court, he was naturally opposed to the Western religion.

On the other hand, Di Ting was very flexible. He lowered his head, covered his ears with his palm-leaf fan-like shape, and pretended to be deaf. He was really funny and cute.

"What are you here for?"

Meng Po was a little displeased. Looking at Dizang who disturbed her, she felt a little angry. Didn't he see that she was in a sad mood and suddenly someone made things worse?

I felt a little awkward.

"Today I saw the layout of the underworld change, so I came here to ask the reason."

"Lady Mengpo, I am definitely not here to cause trouble." Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has now recognized his own status. He is weak, and the two saints, Jie Yin and Zhunti, are far away in the West.

Far water cannot quench near thirst.

Therefore, he has been trying to survive in a humbly manner, not wanting to be targeted by Empress Pingxin, and has always been very low-key.

"Then you go back."

Meng Po glanced at him coldly and spoke.

"This is my family affair and has nothing to do with your Western religion. Don't think too much about it." After pondering for a moment, Meng Po continued.

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva nodded and said, "I understand."

“However, listen carefully to the sounds of all things in the world. There have been changes in the West. I wonder if it was caused by Fellow Daoist Lu.” Ksitigarbha did not want to get entangled and directly stated the purpose of this trip.

“There are changes in the West.”

Lu Yue pondered for a moment and remembered a Taoist nun he met on the road. She shed her male body and transformed into an enchanting figure. He should be the Mosquito Taoist, and the merits of Lingshan were reduced.

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, who is far away in the underworld, can naturally sense it. When it comes to one's own interests, who can stand idly by?

"It has nothing to do with me. I came here to return Gong Gong's body. I don't know anything about the Western Paradise. If Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva wants to know, why doesn't he ask his mount Di Ting?"

Upon hearing this, Di Ting quickly shook his head. The Taoist Mosquito was subdued by the Taoist Randeng himself and sent to the Western Lingshan Mountain to break the Twelve-Rank Golden Lotus of Merit that suppressed the luck.

Give him a few heads and he would dare to reveal shocking news.

He subconsciously touched the head on his neck. It was hairy and there was a bell tied around his neck. It was the magic weapon that Ksitigarbha used to bind him.

"The little beast doesn't know."

Lu Yue did not think that Di Ting did not know, but was probably unwilling to participate in it. As the saying goes: It is rare to be confused! Isn't it a way to save your life? In the past, there was a saying that the law was not passed on to the six ears.

If he doesn't know what's good for him.

"What can Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva say?"

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva made twelve great vows, vowing not to attain Buddhahood until hell is empty, which shows his perseverance. Although he is worthy of praise and has great merits in saving the ghosts with heavy karma, he still cannot escape the fatal point.

That is, the person who opened up the underworld was not Zhunti or Jie Yin, but Hou Tu, the ancestor witch. With the ability of a saint, if he wanted to open up the underworld and establish the six realms of reincarnation, it would not be impossible.

But I am reluctant to leave.

Jie Yin and Zhunti are saints of the heavenly way, with boundless magical powers. It is not easy for them to open up a place for reincarnation in the West, but it is not a difficult task either. They can truly bridge the gap between them.

It is the reincarnation of the body.

A saint is also a human being, and as a human being he has selfish desires.

Asked to give up themselves to support thousands, they would naturally be reluctant to do so. This is why when Hou Tu transformed into the underworld, the saints personally congratulated her: it was because of Hou Tu’s compassion.

"I am grateful for your advice."

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva looked down at Di Ting at his feet. He listened to the magical powers of all things, but wondered why they sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. It turned out that they were doing it to protect themselves. It was a cunning beast indeed.

Only in this way can you live a long and healthy life.

It turned out that he was being rude.

Ksitigarbha laughed at himself, bowed slightly and said, "I'll take my leave."

Then he left Di Ting behind and left on the fairy cloud. Di Ting followed behind him and turned into a rainbow.

"That Di Ting is quite clever."

Meng Po's turbid eyes gradually became clear. The dead are gone, and the living must live.

"If you weren't smart, your ears would have been taken advantage of by others and you wouldn't have lived long." Lu Yue took over the conversation and responded with a smile.

"As for the Ksitigarbha Hall, I wonder how Meng Po will deal with it?"

Meng Po thought for a moment and said, "Let him be."

"These merits are what Ksitigarbha deserves. He vowed not to become a Buddha until hell is empty. This shows that he has a strong character and is a monk who can do great things. It's a pity that he is not my disciple. Even if a poor outsider can convert thousands of people, the ghosts in the underworld are endless. Birth, aging, sickness and death are the way of heaven. How can it really be as he wishes?"

Lu Yue was filled with emotion.

He still agreed with Meng Po's description in his heart. The underworld was the dark side of the prehistoric world. As long as prehistoric creatures still existed, it would be impossible for him to get what he wanted.

It’s just that Ksitigarbha’s ambition is indeed too great.

There are so many passers-by in this world.

They are as numerous as the grains of sand in the Ganges, just like the novice monk on Mount Lingshan, with the green lamp and ancient Buddha always by his side.

The Western Paradise is already a place where people are carrying heavy burdens. After Taoist Mosquito sucked away the third-grade golden lotus and dropped in grade, it only made the situation worse.

The two saints in the West made forty-eight great vows before they could attain enlightenment, and they owed so much merit to the Heavenly Dao. They wandered for half their lives working hard for the prosperity of the West. As for Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, he was their loyal disciple.

Are they all using great aspirations to prove their truth?
But merit is hard to find.

One thing that is fortunate about Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is that his merits and virtues increase dramatically every day. It is visible with the naked eye that the ghosts in the eighteen levels of hell are freed of their evil spirits and become peaceful and calm after being delivered by him.

It can be the mainstay of Western religion.

What does it mean to put down the butcher knife and become a Buddha instantly?
What they achieve is not the fruit of enlightenment, what they put down is not the butcher knife, but the evil thoughts in their hearts. What they achieve is the Buddha in their hearts. After they are reincarnated in the West, their past experiences will be like a passing cloud.

It’s vivid in my mind.

Only after experiencing it will you know how difficult it is to be thwarted, and only by doing good can you find relief.

You can't just give up the luxurious and extravagant Lingshan and fall into the Eighteen Levels of Hell again and experience all kinds of torture.
