Tang Sanzang shook his head. "This is Pipa, the Queen of the Western Liang Kingdom of Women, and my first wife. The other one is Fairy Zixia from the Heavenly Palace, and the first wife of my disciple Sun Wukong."

The King of Tang was struck by lightning and even dared not believe his ears. He thought to himself, aren't monks allowed to marry?

At this time, Zhu Bajie came up and said, "Your Majesty, the Buddhism here is not the authentic Buddhism."

"The rules and regulations have been changed beyond all recognition by them. The real Buddhist sect does not prevent disciples from marrying and having children, and does not even abstain from the three pungent foods and the five disgusting foods."

"As the saying goes, wine and meat pass through the intestines, but the Buddha sits in the heart. In other words, as long as there is Buddha in the heart, Buddha is everywhere. If there is no Buddha in the heart, what is the use of observing the precepts?"

After hearing this, the King of Tang's eyes lit up, but he still looked at Tang Sanzang in disbelief.

At this time, Tang Sanzang actually nodded to the King of Tang and asked the King of Tang to give a lecture to Buddhist believers in Chang'an.

The King of Tang naturally would not refuse this, and he ordered people to prepare a high platform and sent people to inform the people of Chang'an City to come and listen to Tang Sanzang's lecture.

Tang Sanzang sat cross-legged on a high platform and began to preach Buddhism to the people of Chang'an. He first read all the scriptures of the Tripitaka, and then explained what Buddha is.

"Buddha is the highest level of spiritual practice, meaning an enlightened person. In Buddhist teachings, Buddha has a deep understanding of the truth of all things in the universe, transcends the cycle of life and death, and attains the supreme enlightenment."

"As long as you have Buddha in your heart, everything you do will be the most benevolent and kind. This is the greatest faith in Buddha and the foundation for the spread of Buddhism."

"This time, I went to the Great Leiyin Temple on Lingshan Mountain in the West Heaven, and finally understood how to practice Buddhism. The original rules and regulations of the Buddhist sect in my Southern Continent were just wishful thinking, a restriction on those who believe in the Buddha..."

Then Tang Sanzang began to talk about how to believe in Buddhism and spread Buddhism among the human race.

The main thing is not to be bound by the rules and regulations. You can't think that you can't become a Buddha just because you have a wife.

Just because you are a pig and dog killer with blood on your hands, you are not qualified to pray to Buddha.

All of a sudden, all those who listened to Tang Sanzang's lectures had a completely new understanding of Buddhism. They even felt that Buddhism was a method of practice with no threshold.

The Tao that anyone is qualified to pursue is the Tao that can truly save all living beings and is for the benefit of the people of the world.

This also led to the spread of Buddhism in Jambudvīpa at a speed several times faster than expected.

In just half a year, the number of newly built temples in various countries of Jambudvīpa reached tens of thousands.

All of a sudden, Buddhism finally began to spread among the human race, and at the same time, Buddhism flourished.

This scene made the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas such as Duobao Tathagata stunned. After all, they had never thought that Buddhism would be recognized by the nation in this way.

Finally, Bodhisattva Cihang said, "Buddha, I think it's time to change the Buddhist rules and regulations."

Duobao Tathagata sighed and said, "I'll leave this matter to you. The new Buddhist rules and regulations should be based on one's own heart and should not be imposed on others in the name of Buddha." No one raised any objections to Duobao Tathagata's decision. Unfortunately, the Happy Buddha had already reincarnated and entered the hell.

If he were in the Great Leiyin Temple at this moment, he would definitely be the happiest person. After all, this also meant that his joyful Zen had been recognized by the Buddhist sect.

Seeing that no one had any objections, Duobao Tathagata spoke again, "Tang Sanzang and his companions have almost finished preaching the sutras. It is time for them to come back and receive their titles."

Afterwards, he ordered the Eight Vajra to go to the Tang Dynasty and bring Tang Sanzang and his disciples back to the Great Leiyin Temple to receive titles.

However, when the Eight Vajra arrived in Chang'an of the Tang Dynasty, they found that Tang Sanzang and his disciples were no longer in Chang'an.

After asking, I learned that they had already gone to the Holy Dynasty of the Human Race, Da Shang, to start promoting Buddhism in Da Shang.

Little did they know that the real reason why Tang Sanzang and his disciples went to Dashang was to send Pipa and Fairy Zixia to the Fire Cloud Cave.

After all, they themselves didn't know what they were going to face next, so it was impossible for them to let Pipa and Fairy Zixia face the danger with them.

So after the Eight Vajra arrived in Dashang, they successfully brought Tang Sanzang and his five disciples back to the Great Leiyin Temple in Lingshan in the West.

At this time, the Great Leiyin Temple in Lingshan Mountain in the west was already filled with Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and a group of Arhats and monks.

Even the Buddha and Subhuti have already arrived at the Great Leiyin Temple. After all, today is a big day for Buddhism.

Because after Tang Sanzang and his disciples become Buddhas, the Journey to the West will end. At that time, merits will be bestowed from heaven, and the fortune of Buddhism will rise again.

It was also the time when Buddhism was awakening, so not only did the Buddhist disciples gather in the Great Leiyin Temple, but even the Taoist Master Yin and the Taoist Master Zhunti were already waiting to see what was going on.

Because Hongjun Daozu promised them that when Buddhism awakens, that would be the day they become the spokespersons of Buddhism.

Seeing Tang Sanzang and his five disciples coming in, Duobao Tathagata said directly: "Now the journey to the west to obtain the scriptures has been successfully completed, and the spread of Buddhism to the east has also been successfully achieved."

"The five disciples of Tang Sanzang and his disciples have made great contributions to the successful completion of the Journey to the West. Today, Tang Sanzang is specially conferred the title of Sandalwood Merit Buddha."

"Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing have made great contributions in defeating demons and monsters along the way. Today, Sun Wukong is named Fighting and Victory Buddha, Zhu Bajie is named Purifying Altar Buddha, and Sha Wujing is named Golden Body Buddha."

"The little white dragon carried Tang Sanzang on his journey to the west, and he also carried Sanzang's true scriptures back to the Tang Dynasty. Now I confer the title of Guangli Buddha on the little white dragon."

The five masters and disciples simultaneously bowed to Tathagata Duobao and accepted the great positions and fruits bestowed by Buddhism.

As the five masters and apprentices accepted the canonization, a golden cloud of merit and virtue instantly gathered above the Western Sacred Mountain. Finally, a large group of merit and virtue descended from the sky.

Of these, 60% fell on Tang Sanzang and his five disciples. After all, they were the ones destined to go west to obtain the scriptures.

Afterwards, all the forces that participated in the journey to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures gained certain merits.

It can be said that the Journey to the West catastrophe is definitely the most joyful catastrophe for all forces since Pangu created the world until now.

Because there is no fighting in the Journey to the West, there is only human relationships and worldly wisdom. It is a win-win outcome for all parties. (End of this chapter)
